"Naturally, naturally," the leader said with a flattering smile. "Don’t worry; we will stick to the wing that you gave us without a hitch."
He made an okay sign while repeatedly bowing in front of Bai iyue. Seeing that Bai iyue had finally given them a way out, the man was so relieved that he almost knelt in front of her. He heaved a breath and then turned around to leave with Fu Wan and the rest of the team.
As for Bai iyue, she simply watched them leave one by one. She only looked away when the last baggage was cleared.
She then turned to look at Old Master Bai and questioned, "Is this woman really your granddaughter-in-law?"

Which basically ant that this woman didn’t enter the Bai family legitimately. No wonder she looked like an unreasonable person.

Bai iyue knew very well that the woman was nowhere near done. People like this could never sit still; since she dared to sche against the eldest master of the Bai family, Bai iyue didn’t even believe for a second that that woman could stay put in the safe base.

He wasn’t polite when he said such words to Bai iyue; even if Old Master Bai was standing behind him, Xiao Wu didn’t think that there was anything wrong with what he said. Fu Wan was indeed a bit problematic, no matter how he looked at it. It was better to send her away before she caused any kind of trouble.
Bai iyue also agreed with him. It wasn’t that she was deliberately finding fault with Fu Wan; that girl just didn’t look like the sensible kind, and Bai iyue was worried that she would end up making a ss, so it was better to send Fu Wan packing!
Old Master Bai felt a bit embarrassed, but then he sighed and shook his head. In the end, he was not the one who made the ss; it was his eldest grandson who asked him to be so careless and trust the wrong person!?

My boys reported to that there were a few guards who had nightmares last night."
"Well, there is always a chance that it might be just their nerves playing with them," said Bai iyue with a nod. "But we cannot be sure about that; it’s better to be on guard against such things from the start. Better to be safe than sorry. Ask my brothers to arrange for the protective devices that I have brought with ."
She paused and added, "And ask the ability users to start patrolling around the area. If they see even the shadow of the mutated bugs approaching, whether from the ground or the sky, even if it’s just one, they need to make sure that they tell us about it. That way, we will be prepared for another mutated bug wave."

While Bai iyue and Xiao Wu were planning to secure the safe base, Old Master Bai went to look for Fu Wan. As soon as he arrived at the north wing, he could hear her sobbing and throwing things around. When he heard the fuss she was making, Old Master Bai couldn’t help but frown in annoyance. He really had to admit that he must have done so crazy, cruel things in his past life for this woman to beco a part of his family, and his grandson’s deeds must have been worse than his!
"I... I... I... I have never been so humiliated before!" Fu Wan cried, her eyes turning as red as a lobster. "How can you let that woman go just like that? Did you not hear what she said to ? Did you not see how she treated ? How can you just leave her alone like that? You should have taught her a lesson! A good lesson at that."
When Old Master Bai heard her words, he felt his brows twitch. Truly, after living a good life for a while, people really do forget how they were living before and would turn ungrateful.
