"There is no point in saying anything to ." Bai iyue stopped the man from saying anything; she had listened to the ins and outs of the situation and knew that Fu Wan was just making trouble for no reason. She turned to nurse Lin and said to her, "Go and prepare dried motherwort. I think you should have so in the clinic, right? Boil it with water and bring it to the operating room." Bai iyue raised her brow. She finally seed to understand why the Bai family was so tolerant of Fu Wan. Was she worth causing the trouble and fuss that she was making? From what Bai iyue had heard about Fu Wan, she knew that the woman was not just crazy but psychopathic!
"I will try my best." Bai iyue had never helped a woman give birth before. Though she had dical knowledge, she dared not act too arrogantly. She nodded at Old Master Bai and then walked inside the operating room. Once she walked inside, Old Master Bai turned to look at Xiao Chenye and the rest of the bodyguards. "I hope you know what to say to Wenxuan if the child survives, right? Don’t try to have so other thoughts and follow that nasty woman. Even if she is going to give birth to the eldest great-grandson of my family, she has no right or position in the Bai family. If you think that you can live a good life by following her, then think again."
"I’d better not hear any lies regarding Yueyue. If any of you dares to lie and tell Wenxuan anything otherwise, then just wait for to deal with you."
Almost at once, Xiao Chenye knelt in front of Old Master Bai along with the rest of the guards. He said to Old Master Bai solemnly, "Please don’t worry, Old Master. The other followed suit as well and agreed on staying loyal to the Bai family. What a joke!? Fu Wan might have given them so benefits, but in the end, she was just a woman who used the trust that the Bai family had in her father and stole the sperm of Bai Wenxuan. She did sothing so sneaky, so how could their eldest master not hate her? They would be fools to go and get chummy with her instead of Bai iyue.
If Bai iyue saved the life of Bai Wenxuan’s son, then she would beco the saviour of the Bai family. How could they go against her?
Old Master Bai was satisfied with the answers of the bodyguards and nodded. He waved his hand and allowed them to stand back on their feet. He then turned to look at the operating room and worriedly sighed. He hoped that Bai iyue would be able to save the child, or else what would happen to Bai Wenxuan? Even though he knew that Yan Wanning was his daughter and the sons of her sons were the eldest great-grandsons of his family, Old Master Bai wasn’t selfish enough to dump his grandson just because he had gotten a replacent.
He hoped that his grandson would be able to get his happiness as well.
Inside the operating room, Fu Wan was screaming her lungs out.
"You are not going to cut open! I refuse to let you touch my beautiful skin. I am telling you that you cannot put that knife on my skin—the condition is like this, where am I going to get costic surgery if I get a scar?" Fu Wan scread angrily. Her eyes were red as she glared at Doctor Shen. "I know that you are doing this deliberately. Bai iyue asked you to do this, didn’t she? She is taking revenge on by making ugly; she wants to be abandoned by Brother Wenxuan!"
"What good would it do Miss Yueyue for you to be abandoned by your brother Wenxuan?" Doctor Shen was having a hard ti communicating with Fu Wan. She looked at the woman on the operating table and said to her, "Miss Fu, please listen to . If you don’t give birth now, then the child in your belly will end up suffocating. You are already very late in alerting us about your labour pains. We cannot waste any more ti. Try to understand—"
"AHHHH! You are not fooling . I am telling you that you are not going to cut open—let go! This is murder, you hear ? You hear . This is murder! If you put that knife to my stomach, I will tell my brother Wenxuan that you all bullied and his child."
"Then how about I kill you right here and now to avoid that?" A cold voice like that of a devil’s whisper echoed in the operating room and Fu Wan raised her head to look at Bai iyue, who walked inside with a chilly expression.
