At that mont, Bai Xue hated Bai iyue so much that she wished she could eat her flesh and drink her blood. Because of Bai iyue, her reputation was lost, and their family had to pay that bitch so much money as compensation; even the house was given to her.
They were reduced to the status of nouveau riche and no longer had the sa status as before. Now everyone looked at them as people who sold their daughter to earn money and connections.

Bai Xue was going crazy after being locked up in prison but as if her luck wasn’t bad enough already, the entire prison was flooded and now they were barely hanging on! If this went on, then they would certainly be killed.

However, he looked at the prison cell, which was already flooded with water and this was the fourth floor of the city prison centre.
If this went on, then the Bai family would really drown.
"I will go and talk with her," though Bai Feng was not as shaless as Bai Xue to say that Bai iyue didn’t suffer too much; he didn’t want to watch his family die.
When Bai Xue heard Bai Feng say that she was willing to go and look for Bai iyue, she heaved a sigh of relief. She then changed the topic and asked, "Brother Feng, did you bring sothing to eat? I am feeling really hungry."
Because of the flood, the police officers had stopped giving them any als. A few days ago, Chen Yuya was still visiting and delivering them food in the prison but then she stopped coming.
Bai Xue was quite upset with Chen Yuya’s actions and blad her for being too selfish.
When Bai Feng heard Bai Xue’s words, he sighed and pushed so chips and biscuits inside the cell.
"Just this much? How are we going to fill our stomachs with this?" Chu Xia asked angrily as she looked at the packets of chips and biscuits.
"Do you even know what the situation is like, Aunt Chu?" Bai Feng was tired of Chu Xia picking up faults with everything. "All the supermarkets are wiped clean by the citizens; even these chips and biscuits cost a couple of thousand yuan. If you don’t want to eat it, then you can give it to ; I can save so supplies."
Chu Xia wanted to snap back but was stopped by Bai Xue, who smiled sweetly at Bai Feng and said to him, "Brother Feng, please don’t mind, Mother. We haven’t eaten anything for three days. She didn’t an it. Please go and convince Sister iyue to pull the complaint back, Brother Feng. That way we will be able to help you."
Bai Feng’s face softened a little when he heard Bai Xue’s sweet words and nodded.
However, once he turned around and left Chu Xia wheeled around and questioned her daughter angrily, "Why did you stop ?"
"Mom, don’t be foolish!" Bai Xue snapped as she turned around and glared at her mother angrily. The sweet smile on her face was gone and replaced with a twisted frown. She said to her, "Can you not see the situation? When was the last ti you saw soone patrol the corridor of this prison? When was the last ti soone brought us als? I am afraid that the situation is already dire enough and we might already be forgotten by the officers."
"If Bai Feng doesn’t bring up the matter of our release, then I am afraid that the police officers will leave us all here to die!"
Bai Xue pretended to be a naive little girl but the truth was that she saw things much more clearly than her parents.
"What!?" Chu Xia was stunned; she never thought that she would be left here to die.
"That’s why you should try to keep your disdain to yourself," Bai Xue advised her mother. "I am afraid that we have to rely on Bai Feng after what happened. If you keep causing trouble, do you think that Bai Feng will not abandon us?"
"He dares—"
"Why won’t he dare?" Bai Xue asked with a dark glint as she looked at the water that was already reaching above her knees. "Don’t forget, we all thought that Bai iyue would be suppressed under our feet. Look at what happened: she sent us to prison while she was living a good life!"
When Bai Xue thought about how Bai iyue might be sitting in a warm room with a full belly, her face twisted in a hideous manner. She wished she could rush out of the prison cell and drag Bai iyue down with her!
That woman was supposed to be squashed under her feet; how dare she live a better life than her!
"Achoo!" Bai iyue wiped her nose with a tissue and turned to look at Bai Zhan, whose brows were furrowed. Seeing her brother frown like that, she couldn’t help but ask, "What’s going on, Brother?"
"Sothing is wrong," Bai Zhan frowned and pointed to the news that he was reading on his phone. "The hospitals are suddenly overcrowded and there is an explosion of so kind of weird flu virus that the doctors cannot detect."
"In just a few days, all the hospitals are filled to the brim. Many doctors were attacked by the patients and so almost died. You tell , Yueyue, how can they do such a thing?"
Bai iyue’s eyes flickered when she heard that the doctors were killed. If she was not wrong, then Bai iyue had a feeling that the first wave of the zombie apocalypse had already started! Those patients who were unconscious—they were not unconscious due to the flu but because they were bitten by the mutated rats.
