And saw Bai Feng and his ability users cleaning up one of the floors of the building that was right in front of the building where they were staying. But no matter how much they tried to kill the zombies on the second and third floors, the number of zombies wouldn’t die down. There were too many zombies; even after cleaning up a batch, another batch soon followed suit. Soon, corpses piled up one after another on top of themselves—they started waving their hands as if they were determined to chase them to the second or the third floor.

The situation seed to suddenly beco even more chaotic.

"They have to climb higher." At so point, Bai iyue had co to stand beside Shen Zhen and was looking at the sight in front of her. Watching the zombies trying to drag Bai Feng down with them gave her a sick satisfaction. "If they don’t move to the seventh or the eighth floor of the building, there is a good chance that they will end up being sward by the zombies."

Shen Zhen sucked in a breath and sighed in relief that they listened to Bai iyue and moved to the tenth floor when they still had ti.

ng Suisui peered down at the zombies that were getting more and more out of control. She pursed her lips and comnted, "It seems like you were right, Yueyue. If we had brought a lot of people with us... We would have been overwheld by the zombies." Looking at the situation in front of them, it was clear that the reason why Bai Feng and the rest were getting in trouble with the corpse wave was that their number was too large, and the zombies could sll them with ease. After all, with so many ability users and survivors under his command, Bai Feng was basically a walking buffet in the eyes of these zombies.

Earlier, when they were at the mansion, Bai iyue had asked most of the ability users to stay at the mansion along with her brother because the corpse wave might end up chasing them all over the place, since the human concentration at a place could attract the zombies very easily.

"It seems like we can only wait for Lei Qian," remarked Shen Zhen as she turned to look at Bai iyue, who was frowning harder than ever. Seeing the furrow between her brows, Shen Zhen knew what the woman was thinking. She said to her hurriedly, "Don’t even think about it. You are pregnant and cannot run amok all over the place. Just wait for Lei Qian to co and rescue us. I know that you don’t like to rely on others, but at this mont we have no other choice, alright?"

"He will not be able to make it through this situation."

Bai iyue leaned against the wall right beside the window through which they were looking down at the street. She calmly looked at the turbulent situation and crossed her arms. Although Lei Qian had the fire ability, he was still human in the end. There was no way he could kill so many zombies at the sa ti. The number was simply beyond the capacity of a single ability user to clear up. Even she, with her skills and wisdom, cannot deal with this many corpses, so how could Lei Qian do it?

There was no way he would be able to deal with this wave even if he were skilled. There was no way he would be able to make it through this wave even if he were to give it his all.

And there was one more thing—a point that Bai iyue had been avoiding thinking about.

She knew Lei Qian way too clearly and was aware of his personality. According to his personality, now that the zombies had been dealt with, he should have co looking for her just like her elder brother, but even after Yu Miaomiao was dealt with, Lei Qian didn’t make a move. This was not sothing that Lei Qian, with his mama bear personality, would do. With his personality and overwhelming worries, he would have co looking for her right away. After all, with how much he liked to fuss over her and their child, his silence only ant one thing.

He was injured to the point of being immobile at the mont.

Looking at the corpse tide, it would take a very long ti for them to subside. If she was not wrong, this corpse wave might not calm down for another three to four months. Bai iyue had no worries about food resources; she could easily arrange food for her team and herself. But she couldn’t wait for four months. All the dical supplies were at the mansion, and she could go into labour at any mont and couldn’t stay in this place for four or five months.

Bai iyue knew how dangerous it would be for her to give birth to her child in this situation, and didn’t want to give birth to her child in this condition unless it was her last resort.

She pursed her lips and looked at the zombies who had smashed open the windows of the second floor and were now chasing after Bai Feng and the rest of the ability users to the third floor.

"We have to co up with a way to get away from this zombie tide. If not, our survival will end up falling into a perilous situation."

However, what were they supposed to do? Bai iyue had no idea. She had never heard of a person who survived the corpse tide. There was a ti when one of the teams got stuck in the corpse tide, and that tide went on for six months. Not a single person survived in that corpse tide. Either they were caught by the zombies when they were trying to escape, or they were starved to death. No matter which option they took —death was waiting for them at the end of both choices.
