He had been taking care of all the small matters and only ca to look for Bai iyue when there was sothing important.
"These people have awakened the wood ability." Lu Yu responded calmly as he turned to look at the n and the single woman who ca with them. The woman’s face was clawed and ripped, which caused her to look exceptionally hideous. Thus, when the woman saw Bai iyue looking at her, she took three steps back without looking up. She was worried that Bai iyue would find her disgusting and would think of her as useless, like Lu Yin and Dacheng, so she was trying to cover her face with everything that she had.
Bai iyue, however, did not mind her half-torn face. She calmly looked at the people in front of her and asked, "What can you do?" Even if they were low-ranking ability users, they could at most do sothing. As long as they were able to help her mother in the greenhouse, she could always give them a place in the safe base; anyway, she had already accepted these people in her safe base, and whether they could perform well or not was up to them.
The ability users looked at one another. One by one, they showed Bai iyue what they could do. And it was just as Bai iyue expected. At most, they could only pop the seeds given to them, and the rate at which they could grow these seeds was really slow. They could at most be used for growing the crops at the start, and other than that, there was nothing else they could do at the mont.

It was just a sha that even after almost losing her life, she could not awaken as a powerful ability user, or else she would have definitely avenged herself.
Behind her, the people who heard her response also turned teary-eyed. Indeed, they were all betrayed by their family mbers. So were left to suffer by their parents, their daughters, or their sons. All in all, they all were suffering because of the selfishness of the human heart.
