The Demon Saint was incredibly shocked as he knew that he wasn’t using that much energy in the battle.
"Why is this happening to ?!" He muttered aloud as his Domain Spell weakened considerably...
However, Vale didn’t care about this anymore...
After getting what he wanted, he imdiately switched his target to the next Demon Saint...
As soon as Vale focused on him, he realized that this Demon Saint was most likely the strongest of them. It was an armored Demon wielding an Immortal Artifact, a Black Bell.
Clang~ Clang~
Every toll of the bell sent shockwaves that disoriented the city’s defenders. The Demon Saint was just at the back of the Demonic Creatures, and he stood like an unshakable mountain, surrounded by corpses and crumbling sealing talismans.
No immortal could get close to him...
’Probably not a good idea to target him...’ Vale mused as he felt that it would be too dangerous to get close to this opponent.
Although he knew he was strong, he was not invincible. Furthermore, with the Corrupted Divinity he could sense from the Demon Saint, he could easily guess that he was above an Earth Immortal...
Anyway, he didn’t stop his extractions and looked at the nurous Demonic Creatures...
There were thousands of them within the city, and hundreds of them are dying every few seconds as more and more Arcanists and Immortals fought against them.
Even so Killing Formation Circles were activated and swiftly lessened their numbers.
It was a perfect chance for Vale to extract...

Vale started extracting them... However, he soon realized that he had just extracted a Spiritual Being and a Mystical Being...
"Oops..."
They were most likely summoned creatures, familiars, or even creations of Immortals. Furthermore, they weren’t corpses at all.
At this point, it felt as if he were an enemy of both sides.
Anyway, he was able to obtain more Energy Points, Divinity Points, even if most of them are corrupted, Spell Models, mory Fragnts, and even various materials from the Demonic Creatures like their horns, eyes, Demon Cores, and many others.
"Interesting..."
Vale’s eyes glead as he confird that he was able to obtain several Spirit Arts as well...
For now, he didn’t move from his perch.
The Immortals below were unleashing so of their finest techniques...
He saw several mbers of Luminis Hold channel a Storm Dragon Spell through a mirror, while a mber of the Shadow Sect activated a Soul Spell that disrupted the demons’ spiritual harmonies.
Of course, Vale knew of their affiliations because of their uniforms or robes. He had been invited by these organizations before, and he already knew their common attire.
"Hmm? It’s getting more and more dangerous... Should I just leave now?" Vale muttered as he felt as if the rift that the Demon Saints were actually getting larger.
This was a huge problem, and it must be stopped soon.
However, there was no way he would be the one doing that. He was part of the weakest Immortal Realm after all.
’But they’re not panicking or looking desperate. It’s as if they wanted to matter to get bigger.’ Vale thought as he realized that there were still many other Immortals waiting for sothing else. They just stayed in the Immortal Towers and remained watching.
He then watched as one Immortal woman wielded a staff that grew to attack the Dinsional Rift...
However, even if it didn’t do anything to the rift, she soon summoned a Lotus Fla that devoured a legion of Demonic Creatures in radiant fire.
Even the barrier protecting Hymn City had begun morphing, adapting to the breach.
It was now like a crystalline do that was amplifying friendly spells while dampening demonic energies.
Yet Vale was only vaguely interested.
The extraction continued, his Shadow Hand didn’t stop and moved like a wraith. This ti, he confird that the strongest Demon Saint was fighting against five other Immortals while wielding the Black Bell.
But just as it reached the Demon Saint’s shadow, the bell pulsed with Divinity... Then, the titan turned his head slightly, sensing... sothing.
Vale raised an eyebrow. As expected of a powerful Demon Saint, it didn’t fail to notice the concealed Shadow Hand. Because of that, the Extraction couldn’t be done.
At the very least, the defense of the Demon Saint must weaken, or his extraction would simply fail.
"You have to focus on the other Immortals, though..." Vale muttered.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The Bell rang once again, warping the surroundings, suppressing Immortal essence, and distorting space. Aside from the five powerful Immortals, no one could reach him...
The five seed to be from different organizations, but they moved as one.
Their spells had already fractured the cobblestones beneath the Demon Saint’s feet just from the pressure they were emitting... Still, the Demon Saint stood.
The black bell in his hands created waves of corruption pulse, interfering with divine sense and weakening Immortal-grade artifacts.
"You are not worthy... But you will all die here today!" the Demon Saint growled as he raised his hand slowly.
The Immortals knew what was about to happen and swiftly used their defensive Spells. Still, it wasn’t enough!
CLANG—!!
A trendous burst erupted, sending three of the Immortals flying backward. Only two of them were able to hold their ground with gritted teeth and bleeding lips.
Vale also felt the power, but instead of being afraid, he looked at the black bell with greed for the first ti!
He wanted to have it!
Although he wasn’t sure if the item was exclusive to Demon Saints only, he didn’t care at all... He would do his best to obtain the artifact!
