Supposedly, adding Essence was just optional. He could add it to increase the success rate and affect the path of the Fusion. But it wasn’t a requirent at all.
However, it seed that the ten Perfect Realm Immortal Spells were a bit too high-level for a casual fusion.
"Alright... Let add sothing."
Without hesitation, Vale decided to add 15,000 Immortal Essence. Anyway, he had limited use of them. He didn’t mind losing a huge chunk of it.
"Please be good." Vale prayed as this was a huge amount of Immortal Essence.

"What?" Vale was confused as he saw the ssage.

"Ugh... That’s a lot of Divinity Points." Vale comnted, but it was still acceptable if it would keep his body alright.
He could just try again.
Thankfully, the 15,000 Points of Immortal Essence weren’t used up, and the Spell Models weren’t damaged or downgraded at all.
"Whew~"
Still, Vale was disappointed with the result...
"Is it not compatible? These are all shadow-type spells. Or maybe not enough essence?"
There was no other choice... He had to continue and make so changes.
He started the process again—this ti feeding more Immortal Essence into the fusion.
Second attempt.
20,000 Immortal Essence was added instead of just 15,000.
