The heavens above Clovis City seed to have split apart.
Every strike between the two immortals painted the sky with different colors… At tis, there was a divine gold, but it would be consud by darkness.
The angel, Haruo, surged upward once more, with his wings unfolded in their full glory.
Suddenly, ten radiant plus shone behind him, each feather was glowing with inscriptions that were filled with high-level Rune Arts…
Then, his sword had also glowed, channeling divine energy that could flatten an entire city!
"Judgnt Ascension!" Haruo shouted.
Soon, a pillar of holy light erupted from his blade, piercing through the clouds. The entire area below was illuminated in blinding light.
The people below had to close their eyes or risk damaging their eyes.
But the Void Immortal rely raised a hand. His gesture was calm and unhurried. The light vanished the mont it reached him… It was devoured by the absence that surrounded his body.
He drifted backward, and the edges of his robe seed to release streams of void mist. He then looked at Haruo, amused by his attack.
"Judgnt… such a conceited notion."
The space around him distorted as cracks of nothingness ford.
It also started expanding outward as if it were to destroy the entire space…
Then the Void Immortal made his move… "Try this… Collapse Field."
The air bent inward. The clouds overhead seed to shiver as the Collapse Field spread… It was a do of annihilation that erased sound, light, and even magic itself.
Haruo's wings lit up and swiftly used another Celestial Art…
"Light Domain!"
A surge of gold broke through the darkness, shattering the void field that the Void Immortal created like glass.
The remnants of black energy collapsed, evaporating against the shield of divinity.
Boom!
The collision created a powerful shockwave that pressured the citizens below..
Thankfully, the barrier of Clovis City wasn't destroyed as it held after trembling for a few seconds.

From the western district, Constance was in her courtyard and watched the clash unfold silently.
Her staff was also glowing with violet light as she wanted to be ready in case she needed to assist Haruo.
Beside her, Magnus was also watching with arms folded. Though no aura radiated from him, the air around his presence felt sharpened, like a blade waiting to be drawn.
He was ready for battle.
"Should we intervene?" he asked and looked at Constance.
However, Constance just shook her head. "No. Haruo isn't losing. Just allow him to test the depth of the void."
Further north, within the Shadow Castle, a cluster of Immortals had gathered.
Chad, the Half-Dragon Immortal, leaned on his halberd as he watched the sky fracture under the weight of the clash.
"I guess that Void Immortal just wanted to probe our power." Chad muttered to himself as he confird that there were no other Void Immortals around.
At the very least, there weren't any noticeable ones.
Lisa, the Vampire, was also nearby, and she couldn't help but feel impressed…
"Fascinating," she murmured. "I think he's also learning… His void structure isn't purely destructive. It's adaptive. He's studying Haruo's divine construct… learning its rhythm."
On a nearby balcony, Sreas, the Asura Immortal, was already itching for battle.
There were even a few monts when she felt like she wanted to release her true form and flex her extra limbs
"Haruo… You're so lucky you have wings… I should be the one fighting that creature." She muttered.
High above, the Void Immortal extended his hand again.
This ti, the rift behind him twisted, forming a halo of nothingness.
"Void Scripture… Bloom."
Dark petals blossod from the halo and started drifting downward like snowflakes. Wherever they landed, light dimd, mana vanished, and the very fabric of reality started trembling…
Haruo raised his sword, and this ti, he didn't swing it but simply released his Holy Spell.
"Heavenly Purge!"
A wave of light surged upward, eting the dark petals in the sky… This collision stopped the spread of the Dark Petals and it seed like Haruo was winning.
However, it was not enough as he folded his wings and dove.
The angel descended like a teor, as he cloaked himself with divine fla…
The Void Immortal smiled faintly as he liked this attack even more…
"Finally."
He raised both hands as he looked at Haruo coming at him.
"Void Graviton…"
Space twisted.
An invisible force seized Haruo mid-dive, bending his trajectory into a ss. The angel fought the pull as his wings tore through the crushing gravity.
His armor groaned, but he didn't give up…
Soon, Haruo vanished.
To be exact, he turned into light and reappeared behind his opponent!
Then, his blade descended!
The strike t the Void Immortal's arm… and passed through it.
No resistance. No impact.
Haruo's eyes widened. "An illusion?"
The Void Immortal's voice whispered from behind him.
"Not quite."
A hand ford from void essence materialized through Haruo's chest. It didn't pierce flesh… it erased presence.
But before it could reach his core, Haruo detonated into holy light.
"Divine Echo… Retribution!"
The explosion lit the sky with brilliance that rivaled the sun!
When the light faded, Haruo stood calmly with his wings outstretched, and several Immortal Runes were orbiting his body…
The Void Immortal, now slightly scuffed, chuckled. "So… the angels have evolved."
Below, the Citizens felt awe at the battle they had just witnessed.

From the Shadow Castle's balcony, Denise, clad in scholar's robes, couldn't help but feel impressed…
"They're tearing through reality… I wonder if my Golems can also do that soday." She muttered.
Heinz Becker, her assistant, didn't laugh at this… He was aware that Denise had already surpassed him in terms of Golem Creation.
"They might," he said quietly. "If you finish the Soul Core integration. That prototype you showed last week… it reacted to spatial distortion. It could be done."
Denise nodded… "It did. But it wasn't stable..."
"That's still longer than anything the Academy's built," Heinz replied. "And you weren't using divine-grade materials."
Denise tilted her head slightly as Haruo's wings flared again, releasing another wave of radiant energy.
Then, she had an idea…
