The others had only seen the snake for the first ti.

’Another Spirit Beast? I thought he only had Vulpie and Shroud.’

These are their thoughts since Vale introduced the two Spirit Beasts to them.

However, they were curious since Vale was talking to the snake as if it could really understand him and reply normally.

Still, if Vale had a Spell to communicate with Beasts, it wouldn’t be surprising considering how many Spells he had. In truth, none of them could properly estimate the number of Vale’s Spells.

After all, for them, they would have limited Spirit Strands and, of course, Spell Lights that could handle Spell Models in their bodies.

For Vale, however, they knew that he had more than 50 Spells, which was already too high even for an Immortal.

As a matter of fact, Lisa only had a total of 30 Spells with her, despite being a Vampire Immortal.

But still, the truth shocked the group as the snake suddenly paused and spoke up...

Its voice was low, but it was clear to everyone.

"They’re chasing ... those two beasts of yours. I only ca here to rest, but Vulpie and Shroud won’t leave alone. I want to leave the Tower before they tear apart."

The group froze, stunned that the snake could actually speak.

For a mont, they thought Vale had cast so spell to make it talk, but the way he chuckled told them otherwise.

"Seven..." Vale said, shaking his head. "You’re a Shadow Immortal, not so ordinary beast. Don’t tell you’re afraid of two young Spirit Beasts."

The snake hissed softly, curling its body in irritation. "Afraid? No. Annoyed? Yes. I didn’t co here to play with cubs. I ca here to hide."

Vale leaned back, amused. He then noticed that the others were dumbfounded and explained...

"Ahhh... He transford into a snake to sneak into the human realm, and now the spell’s stuck longer than he expected. Three months, wasn’t it?"

Seven’s eyes glowed faintly, confirming it. "Yes. Three months before, I can return to my true form. Until then, I’m vulnerable."

Indeed, if the Chaos Immortals or the Void Immortals find him like this... He’ll be in trouble. After all, even if he was transford into a snake, there were still faint traces of powerful divinity coming from it.

Vale considered for a mont before he sighed.

"That’s exactly why you’re staying here. If you go out now, you’ll be easy prey. Vulpie and Shroud are still young, but I’ll teach them to stop chasing you. For your sake, stay inside the Tower until you recover."

The snake flicked its tongue, finally realized that many guests were seated around the table. Its gaze lingered on Lisa, Faith, and Maya before it finally slithered toward the exit.

"Fine. But if those two bite again, I’ll bite back."

The others watched in silence as the snake disappeared into the shadows.

Only then did the questions start.

Aubrey was the first one to ask. "Vale... what was that? You called it Seven. What exactly is that beast? I can feel sothing from it. I an, why did he transform into a snake in the first place?"

Odessa was curious about the snake as well.

"Is that another Immortal we don’t know about? You’re really full of secrets."

Denise’s curiosity piqued. "If he’s trapped in that form, does that an his Spirit and Soul are compressed? Could I study that transformation?"

She certainly had a different concern, but it was understandable.

Chad wryly smiled as he understood the situation from their short conversation.

"Well... If he’s vulnerable, then he’s a target. And it’s indeed better if he stays here for now."

Vale also sighed before he shrugged.

"Seven is... complicated. He’s bound to by a deal I made long ago. As for his condition, it’s not sothing you need to worry about. For now, he stays here. No one touches him..."

In the anti, while Vale’s circle was enjoying their als brought from the Shadow Realm, a group of people were secretly gathering in a hidden location...

Inside a dark chamber, each figure was seated at a separate point around the vast circular table.

They could hear one another clearly, but none could see the faces of those present. It was a precaution since no one wanted their identity revealed in such a dangerous gathering.

Still, they were aware that they were representatives of various factions from the Mystic Arts, Rune Arts, Combat Arts, Alchemy Arts, Transformation Arts, Holy Arts, and Dark Arts Factions...

The leader of the Mystic Arts faction spoke first...

"Elental and Beast Arts have already pledged themselves to Vale. That alone shifts the balance of power. If more follow, his territory will beco the center of everything."

The Rune Arts leader sighed... "Our artisans are working there in secret. So of my people claim it’s the only place their craft is truly valued. I’m having a hard ti convincing them to betray the Shadow Domain."

The Alchemy Arts leader had similar concerns. "Our apprentices trade with his land daily. He provides rare herbs and reagents no one else can secure. If I forbid them, they’ll rebel. Vale has already won their loyalty without even asking."

The Transformation Arts leader shook his head... "Do you not see? He doesn’t need to control us. He simply creates opportunities, and our factions walk into his territory willingly. That is more dangerous than conquest."

The Holy Arts leader’s voice was calm but firm. "Dangerous, yes. But he has not forced anyone. Even my priests admit his land is safer than ours. Refugees flock to him. Can you bla them?"

The Dark Arts leader chuckled...

"Safety is an illusion. Vale is building sothing greater than a kingdom. If he continues, this world will beco his..."

The Combat Arts leader didn’t even want to speak.

Half of their warriors already trade with Vale’s rchants since their airships could reach everywhere...

Furthermore, his rchants offer fair prices, fair contracts, and protection.

At this point, they would soon get swallowed and lose their identities, their heritage, and their hundreds of years of authority...

"He’s leaving us no other choice... Lord Aersus, what do you think we should do from on?"
