Headmaster Constance’s frown lingered, but instead of punishnt, her words took a surprising turn.
"Vanessa... the Academy does not intend to condemn you. For now, what we want are the notes and fragnts you discovered. All records of Void Arts must be collected and studied. If they are genuine, they may form the foundation of sothing new, perhaps even the thirteenth Arcane Path taught here."

Vanessa’s eyes widened. "The... thirteenth Path?"
Constance nodded. "Yes. The Void Arts have always been forbidden, but knowledge cannot remain buried forever. If we can understand them, organize them, and teach them responsibly, they may beco part of the Academy’s curriculum. You will not be treated as a criminal, Vanessa. Instead, you should be rewarded."
Relief washed over Vanessa, her trembling hands finally steady.
She bowed her head gratefully. "Thank you, Headmaster. I will give you everything I found."
Constance’s expression softened. "Good. In return, you will receive Academic Points, enough to elevate your standing among your peers. More importantly, you will be granted the chance to study any Elental Spell you desire. I will provide the Spell Models myself. Whether you succeed in imprinting them into your Spell Light will depend on your own skill and discipline."
Vanessa’s breath caught again, but this ti with excitent. "Any spell... at all?"
"Yes," Constance confird. "But first, you must master the three foundational spells of the Elental Arts. Without them, higher models will collapse when you attempt to imprint them."
Vanessa nodded. She knew about the three foundational spells of the Elental Arts.
The first was the Elental Channeling Spell or the ability to draw raw elental energy that could strengthen one’s physique and slowly obtain Elental Body, which could be learned next.
The other was the Elental Bind. It is the basis for all shields, barriers, and formations of Elentalists.
Lastly, the Elental Pulse... It was a neutral spell that produced a small surge of raw elental energy. It doesn’t belong to fire, water, or earth... It is pure energy that greatly teaches them how to channel and release power safely.
"Since you know the three... I won’t be explaining them. But only once you have mastered these three will you be permitted to choose freely among the higher spells."
Vanessa’s heart soared. She had expected punishnt, perhaps even expulsion, but instead she was being offered opportunity and recognition.
She bowed deeply. "I will not fail, Headmaster. I will learn the foundations, and I will give you all the notes I found."
Constance leaned back, satisfied. "Good..."

In the anti, Ruth and Rice followed Denise as she brought them further in the corridors of the Academy.
The whispers of their classmates still echoed in their minds. There was envy, fear, and curiosity since to be called by Denise was no small matter.
Denise, on the other hand, walked ahead calmly as she led them into a private chamber adjoining the Academy’s central hall, a place reserved for high-level discussions.
"Sit," she said simply, gesturing to two chairs across from her.
Ruth clutched her notes nervously while Rice sat upright, his fists clenched, his frail body was tense, but he remained cool.
Denise studied them for a long mont before speaking.
"You two are not ordinary students. Vale has already marked you as a candidate. That ans your paths are tied to the Shadow Domain, whether you realize it or not."
The two exchanged glances, honored to be candidates.
Still, Ruth swallowed hard. "Why... why call us now?"
Denise’s lips curved into a faint smile.
"Don’t worry, I already spoke to other candidates, and they were also inford about a few things related to the Academy Competition that will be participate by all Arcane Academies in the Continent."
The two were shocked. They didn’t expect that they would even participate in that matter so early!
Rice leaned forward. "What do we have to do?"
Denise’s eyes glead. "You will have trials beyond the classroom. Or responsibilities that will test more than your talent. You’ve beco candidates for a reason. Ruth, your eye for runes will be invaluable. Rice, your combat instincts, even with your frail body, are sharper than most seasoned warriors. Vale sees potential in both of you. I am here to ensure you do not waste it."
Denise placed two sealed scrolls on the table.
"These are Spell Models and Combat Forms tailored for your paths. They are not gifts, they are tests. You will attempt to imprint them into your Spell Light. If you succeed, you will prove yourselves worthy of further guidance. If you fail... then you remain candidates, nothing more."
Ruth’s hands trembled as she reached for her scroll. She recognized the intricate Spell Models etched into the parchnt. Her special eye flickered again, already detecting that they were all special Rune Spells!
Rice also opened his scroll to reveal his Combat Spells Models, and furthermore, there were also diagrams of advanced Combat Arts stances. His frail body ached at the thought of attempting them, but his instincts told him that training these stances would greatly help him obtain a better physique!
Denise smiled after seeing their reaction and nodded.
"Do not think of this as a reward. Think of it as a door. Vale does not accept disciples lightly. If you wish to stand beside him, you must prove you can walk through it."

Ruth bowed her head. She was determined to learn these spells.
