Vale scanned his surroundings and approached one of the Tower Guards.

"Hello. I’m looking to buy either empty Divine Crystals or suitable mineral stones that can be used to forge Divine Crystals. Where would be the most affordable place to check?"

The Tower Guard glanced at him and replied with a serene voice. It appears that this person was also a Homunculus.

"For processed and empty Divine Crystals, visit the ’Energy Conduits’ section on the Resource Floor, it’s the Sixth Floor." The Tower Guard said as he gestured to the elevator.

Then, he continued.

"For raw mineral ores suitable for Divine Crystal conversion, head to the Trade Hub on the Material Exchange Section of the sa floor... Traders often sell unprocessed Divine Ore from frontier regions for a low price. Beware: purity is inconsistent."

"Perfect." Vale smiled and thanked the Homunculus. He wanted to tip him but he didn’t have that much with him either.

Anyway, the Tower Guard didn’t mind not getting any paynt for his service.

Just like that, a few minutes later, Vale stepped onto a much quieter floor of the tower. At the very least, the sector he entered was this peaceful.

’This place feels different.’

This area seed to be dedicated entirely to spiritual storage, energy refinent, and conductive materials.

Small stalls and booths lined the walls, run by various rchants specializing in crystal arrays, blank cores, defensive items, and amplifier materials.

Soon, a particular booth caught his attention.

"Elvaron’s Core & Crystals"

"Discounted Empty Divine Crystals – Bulk Orders Welco."

’Just like what I need...’ Vale thought to himself.

The proprietor was a short, elderly man with a strange crystal eye replacing his left socket. He was appraising a broken Divine Crystal when he arrived.

Vale stepped forward, and the man didn’t even look up. "Buying or selling?"

"Buying. I need empty Divine Crystals. How much for bulk?"

The man then pointed at a chalkboard sign:

x1,000 Low-Grade Empty Divine Crystals – 20 Arcane Crystals

x100 Mid-Grade Empty Divine Crystals – 100 Arcane Crystals

x10 High-Grade Empty Divine Crystals – 5,000 Arcane Crystals ]

Vale got curious about the grading system of the Divine Crystals and confird that the ones he created in the human realm were Mid-Grade Divine Crystals, while the ones widely used were the Low-Grade Divine Crystals.

As for the High-Grade ones, they were sothing that would be rarely seen even among the Immortals.

According to the elderly man, the High-Grade Ones use a different version of Divinity. To be exact, only High Immortals and Arcane Immortals could create the High-Grade ones.

Vale winced slightly. While he had a few Arcane Crystals left, it wasn’t ideal.

"How about discount packs?" he asked just in case.

The man blinked, then smirked. "You want defective or unstable ones? I’ve got a box. They need refining, but if you know what you’re doing, they’re a steal."

He dropped a wooden crate on the counter. Inside were cracked, chipped, or half-ford Divine Crystals—probably about five or eight thousand of them...

"For the whole box, I’ll take 15 Arcane Crystals. Final offer."

Vale’s lips twitched.

He scanned the box, and imdiately, he knew that he would benefit a lot from this transaction.

’This should work...’ Vale thought. Not only could he repair and fill them, but he also knew that he could recycle the fractured fragnts as well.

"I’ll take them," Vale said imdiately, just in case the old man would change his mind..

The transaction was smooth. He handed over 15 Arcane Crystals and stuffed the crate into his Storage Ring. He was already imagining the process of refining and filling them during his next ditation or seclusion.

Still, Vale wasn’t done as he continued to explore the Floor.

He followed the directions written on the signs and soon, he arrived at the Trade Hub.

Unlike the neat organization of the previous sector or area within the floor, this one was chaotic, like a massive open-air market, but indoors.

There were a lot of people here. He could even hear so broke Arcanists doing their best to haggle.

Anyway, he soon confird that there were also caravans of goods, crates of ores, piles of monster parts, and sacks of crystals being exchanged by the minute.

It was an interesting sight. It was as if this place catered to adventurers, maybe scavengers or those who risked danger to bring back treasures.

Vale found what he was looking for near the back: a stall run by an old man who was actually a Holy Arts Practitioner. He was definitely a rare kind in this realm ruled by Shadow or Dark Arts Practitioners.

"Spirit Ores & Elental Stones – Raw, Untouched, and Unrefined!"

Vale soon saw large slabs of blue crystal ore stacked like firewood.

They looked completely ordinary to the untrained eye, but Vale could already tell that his Extraction System could extract energy from these unassuming crystals.

"Price?" Vale asked.

The man grinned after seeing Vale.

"Two Arcane Crystals per stone. Or you can buy a bulk crate for 35 Arcane Crystals." The man said as he pointed to a crate filled with stones that he could convert into Divine Crystals.

Vale considered it, then sighed... "I’ll take a couple of crates then..."

The man laughed, clapping him on the back. "Good choice!"

Soon, Vale had two crates of raw blue crystal ores and stored them in his Storage Ring.

Now that he was truly broke, Vale stood at the corner of the bustling Trade Hub...

He needed Arcane Crystals for purchases, trades, and other daily use. Divine Crystals might have long-term value, but they weren’t the accepted coin of daily comrce here.

"...Tch. Looks like I’ve no choice," He muttered as he decided to fill so empty Divine Crystals to get so capital.

It hadn’t cost him much energy to produce, but he still spent 50 Divinity Points.

Using the new Divine Crystal, he paid a modest booth fee and acquired a small open stall just off the main flow of the Trade Hub—nothing too flashy, but decent enough to catch so foot traffic.

Then, he quickly set up a platform.

And then, from his Storage Ring, he brought items he wanted to sell for Arcane Crystals only...

The Demon Saint Horns...
