Chen frowned, always feeling that sothing was amiss.
He and Powder also rushed over and saw a burly, handso, yet slightly stern middle-aged man tied to a cross in one of the inner cells.
His body was covered in beautiful muscles, but they were scarred, with both old and new wounds, so even still bleeding. It seed his ti in prison had not been easy.
Chen looked at the uncle, who sowhat resembled Geralt the Witcher, and asked Katarina:
"Is that your father, Du Couteau? Are you sure it's him?"
Katarina looked at her father inside. Although he had been extrely strict with her, raising her as an assassin from childhood and even trying to kill her once, he was still the father she respected most.
Katarina squeezed the dagger in her hand, a hint of heartache in her voice as she said:
"I couldn't be mistaken. Those old scars are still there, but there are so many new wounds…"
Chen imdiately told Powder to open the lock. Powder took out a small high-energy alchemical welding torch and welded the lock open in one shot.
But at this mont, Chen's brows were tightly furrowed. He always felt that things were too simple:
"I hope I'm just overthinking it."
As soon as the door opened, Katarina rushed in, untied her father, and poured a bottle of Health Potion into Du Couteau's mouth.

"Am I going to the execution ground?"

Du Couteau rubbed his head and, in a commanding tone, told Katarina:
"Put down."
"Yes!"
Katarina almost instinctively obeyed her father's command.
Du Couteau stood on the ground, twisted his neck, and asked Katarina in a cold tone:
"What happened? How did you manage to break into the Royal Prison and get out?"
"Swain's coup, a fight has broken out outside…"
Katarina imdiately reported the situation to Du Couteau. After listening, Du Couteau asked Katarina:
"What do you plan to do now?"
Katarina clenched her right fist and placed it over her chest:
"I await the General's command."
At this point, Du Couteau did not hesitate, directly ordering:
"Follow to defeat the rebel Swain!"
"Yes, General!"
Katarina imdiately knelt on one knee, accepting the task her father had given.
Chen shook his head. This was nothing like a father-daughter relationship. He only felt that every family had its own troubles, and places like Zaun, where one started without parents, didn't have such worries.
At this mont, Chen said to Katarina:
"General Du Couteau has been found, so we'll be leaving now. I won't interfere with Noxus's internal affairs. We'll hide for now, and then you can help us leave later."
After speaking, Chen and Powder returned the way they ca. As Zaunites, they could completely rember the sewers after walking through them once, so they chose to retreat first.
