Urgot's six chanical legs drove into the pavent with bone-shaking force. He didn't just move; he pulverized the ground beneath him.
Passive Proc: Echoing Flas.
The shotgun-knees on his chassis erupted in a 360-degree blast of green fire. rcenaries who had spent their lives surviving the back alleys of Zaun were reduced to charred husks in a heartbeat. The Chem-Tech reaction was violent, instantaneous, and absolute.
Urgot didn't stop. He raised his right arm, and a Corrosive Charge (Q) soared into the center of the panicked crowd. The explosion didn't just kill; it dissolved, leaving a toxic cloud that slowed any survivors to a crawl. Then, the high-pitched whine of his rotary cannon reached a fever pitch.
Purge (W) was active.
In the ga, it was a steady three shots per second. Here, in the brutal reality of the Sump, it was a blurred rain of lead—dozens of bullets per second shredding flesh and bone.
"This is insane!" Chen muttered from his hoverboard, his tactical HUD flashing red warnings. "His passive has no cooldown, his Q-range is massive, and that W fire rate... he's a walking at grinder!"
Suddenly, the iron plate on Urgot's abdon hissed and slid open. A massive, rotating Chem-Tech drill, trailing a heavy iron chain, shot out with a sound like a screaming soul.
Fear Beyond Death (R).
The drill plunged into Chem-Baron Finn's chest. The "roguish" baron, who had been shouting orders seconds ago, let out a blood-curdling scream as the drill churned through his ribs. "Quick... save... ..."
The words died in his throat. The chains snapped taut, dragging Finn's kicking body toward the chanical maw in Urgot's stomach. The grinding sound of industrial gears and the shriek of a chainsaw eting bone echoed through the ruins.
"DEATH IS THE ONLY RELEASE!" Urgot roared.
The remaining Chem-Baron subordinates didn't wait to see what was left of their boss. They broke. They fled. They fell into a state of absolute Terrify, dropping their weapons and sprinting into the fog. But Urgot began to hunt, his six legs scuttling sideways as he harvested the stragglers.
Chen's scalp tingled. He reached back and covered Powder's eyes again. "Kids aren't allowed to watch the 'Grind' phase."
"CHEN!!! I've said it a thousand tis, I'm not little!" Powder yelled, struggling against his hand as they flew away from the slaughter.
"No, you're still little," Chen said, glancing at her. "Little in every sense of the word."
"I'm not talking to you anymore! Hmph!" Powder crossed her arms, pouting with the intensity of a thousand suns. She hated being told she wasn't "mature" yet—the classic dilemma of every teenager who has just survived a city-wide war.
Chen knew the only way to soothe a grumpy Powder: Gromp at.
He landed at a familiar stall run by a Bilgewater fish-head boss. He sat Powder down and began massaging her shoulders. "Don't be angry anymore. Look, we're at your favorite spot."
"Hmph!" Powder turned her head away, but her nose was already twitching at the sll of the charcoal.
"Boss! Gromp at! One serving of everything—stir-fried, boiled, stead, and deep-fried!"
The boss let out a hearty laugh. "Big spender! Coming right up!"
"Eat whatever you want today," Chen said, sitting beside her.
"Really?" Powder's resolve crumbled at the ntion of the deep-fried Gromp. "Then I won't be polite! But if I get fat, it's your fault for forcing to eat! I didn't even want to! Hmph!"
She dove into the food with zero table manners, stuffing her face while Chen watched with a quiet, satisfied smile. "It's okay. If you're a little chubby, nobody else will try to steal you from ."
"What are you talking about? I won't get fat!" Powder stuffed a piece of at into Chen's mouth to shut him up, but she couldn't hide the small, genuine smile forming on her grease-stained face. In this mont, the "Jinx" was gone. She was just a girl having dinner with the person who stayed.
Once Powder was stuffed and slipping into a "food coma," Chen turned to the fish-head boss. "Boss, I have information to sell."
"A seller? Interesting," the boss grunted. "Usually, I'm the one doing the talking."
Chen leaned in and whispered the secret of Swain's upcoming coup in Noxus—the betrayal of Darkwill and the downfall of the Black Rose.
The boss froze. His network reached into Noxus, but Swain's move was the best-kept secret in the empire. "Proof?" the boss scribbled on a note.
"Urgot is the proof," Chen said calmly. "The Dreadnought just escaped the mines. He's the loose end Swain tried to cut. Investigate him, and you'll see the Noxian hand behind the prison break."
The boss frowned, realizing the weight of the news. "I'll verify. If it's true, co back. I'll have a bounty that'll buy you ten years of Gromp at."
When they finally returned to the Firelight Sanctuary, Ekko practically tackled them.
"Where have you been?! Piltover is in a frenzy, Silco is gone, and we've already seized half of his factories in the Sump! His n are either running or joining us. Why didn't he co back to retaliate?!"
Chen patted Ekko's shoulder. "Silco's era ended on that airship, Ekko. He's most likely dead."
Ekko blinked, stunned. "Dead? Just like that?"
"Now is the ti," Chen said, his expression turning serious. "Seize the Shimr supplies—we need them for dicine and fuel, not for making monsters. We need to talk to Singed. And we need to prepare for a territory war."
"With who?" Ekko asked, bewildered.
"With the only man crazier than Silco," Chen said, looking toward the industrial district where smoke was still rising. "Urgot is free, and he's going to try and turn this city into a testing ground of 'strength.' The revolution of Zaun has officially begun."
