"That’s it?"

"What do you an, ’that’s it’? Look down there—do you see a single spot that’s still intact?"

"Jinx is right. How did we never think of using weapons like this?"

"Hextech airships... hell, even if we just dropped Hextech gemstones, we could probably win."

The Noxians’ wailing had faded into nothing. Beneath the Variu Mountains, silence settled again—though if you looked closely, you could spot wild animals fleeing through the slopes. They’d been terrified by this "natural disaster," too.

Silco raised an eyebrow at the councilors’ chatter and said, "And if you’d had this thod earlier—then what?"

"If you’d already had sothing like this back then, what would you have done with it? And who would you have used it on?"

l shot an annoyed look at Salo. Jayce’s dislike of him wasn’t baseless—this man constantly spoke without thinking. Arrogant, loud, aggravating.

She imdiately added, "Please don’t take him seriously, Councilor Silco. Councilor Salo was just talking."

Silco only smiled, noncommittal, and shrugged without saying more.

He’d only been poking Salo with a reminder—so he’d understand the Twin Cities’ current reality. Everyone was on the sa ship now... yet there were always people who wanted to get off the ship, or worse, start talking about splitting it in half.

That kind of nonsense couldn’t go unchallenged.

Salo understood exactly how stupid his words had been. He shrank back and stopped trying to stand out.

Councilor Kiramman stepped in to smooth things over. "So... we head back now?"

"Yeah. Let’s go back," Jayce said with a nod.

At his signal, Marcus issued the orders. The Hextech airships turned around, gemstone power pushed to maximum—and in an instant they pierced space, streaking back toward Piltover.

By the ti Logan and the others returned from Piltover to Zaun, night had fallen.

Logan took Jinx ho. When they arrived, Isha was doing her howork.

She ca out to greet them—then looked at Logan and rubbed her stomach.

"Hungry? Give a minute, I’ll cook right now," Logan said, amused as he understood her gesture.

Isha nodded and scampered back to her howork.

Logan rolled up his sleeves and headed into the kitchen. Jinx followed right behind him, chattering nonstop.

"Logan, so when are we going on our honeymoon?"

"...We still need to wait a while," Logan said as he washed vegetables, thinking. "But if you’re really in a hurry, we could go earlier. That’s not impossible."

After all, Logan didn’t know exactly how long Orianna’s soul would take to fully recover. Three months was just a rough estimate from Kindred—and Logan would still need to go to the Spirit Blossom realm to confirm. So leaving earlier with Jinx... probably wouldn’t be a problem.

But if they truly left early, he’d need to inform Singed in advance. When the ti ca, Logan could have Janna send word, then the doctor could bring Orianna’s body—protected by a squad of enforcers—and take a Hextech airship to Ionia.

By airship, it would only take an hour or two. Insanely fast.

As for Logan and Jinx, though—of course they weren’t taking an airship.

He was taking her out to travel. There was no reason to rush straight to Ionia. The scenery along the way was part of the point.

Jinx was curious about the outside world, and honestly—so was Logan.

He didn’t notice it, but he’d already stopped questioning her "honeymoon" word. Deep down, he’d basically accepted that... yes, this really was a honeymoon.

"Then we leave tomorrow?" Jinx was practically vibrating with impatience.

She hurried forward, hooked her arms around Logan’s neck, then with a quick hop, wrapped her long legs around his waist. Like a koala, she clung to his back.

Logan reached one hand behind him—his palm landing on Jinx’s perky, round butt. Even through denim he could feel the softness, his hand sinking slightly as he instinctively shifted it upward while he spoke like it was nothing:

"Nope. Not yet. We need to see if Noxus is going to co again. We have to stay in Zaun for a while, ask Camille what’s going on with Noxus, then decide."

"Then... are we going to Bilgewater?" Jinx asked.

"If we go by ship, we’ll pass through Bilgewater. Jinx, do you want to stop there for a bit?"

"Of course. I want to see what that pirate country is like. The books make it sound like their environnt is even worse than Zaun’s," Jinx said with a grin.

"Alright. Then we’ll go to Bilgewater first and stay a few days, have so fun. But Jinx... I’ve actually been there before. It’s really not that fun." Logan hesitated, then admitted it anyway.

"You went there on your way back?" she asked.

"Yeah. Their sanitation is awful. The docks are full of rotting fish scraps. Rats the size of dogs run around at night. And the people there—so of them just relieve themselves wherever they want. If you walk out of a tavern at night, you’re guaranteed to see one or two bare asses in the alley."

"...They don’t have toilets?" Jinx frowned.

Hearing Logan describe it like that, Jinx suddenly didn’t want to go to Bilgewater as much.

Relieving yourself in the street?!

Even when Zaun was at its worst... uh... it probably didn’t get that bad, right?

Jinx wasn’t totally sure, but she knew one thing—she’d never done that.

She was hygienic!

"Bilgewater’s poorer than we are, and their security isn’t any better than Zaun used to be," Logan said with a laugh. "Otherwise, why would Zaun and Bilgewater ever get along?"

He handed the vegetables to Jinx. With her arms looped in front of Logan, she naturally took them, then started snapping them into pieces with both hands.

As she worked, she said, "Then we’ll just try their local food and leave. The way you’re describing it, it doesn’t sound fun at all."

"Yeah, well... you know what? Compared to Zaun and Piltover, there probably aren’t many places that are more fun," Logan said, amused.

And he was probably right. Piltover and Zaun’s tech and economy made them the most "interesting" places in Runeterra—at least for normal people.

If you wanted truly "interesting," then sure—Icathia, Shurima, Targon... those places were fascinating too.

But their kind of "interesting" wasn’t sothing ordinary people could touch.

Touch it casually, and one mistake ant death.

"Is Ionia not fun either?" Jinx asked.

"It’s fun. The air in Ionia slls amazing, and there are all kinds of strange animals. Most importantly—their fruits and vegetables are ridiculously good. Super sweet."

"Really?" Jinx was practically drooling.

She loved sweets.

"Then, Logan... how long are we going out for?" she asked—finally landing on the most important question.

The last few days, she’d been buying travel supplies nonstop: sleeping bags, socks, underwear, clothes, snacks, books, camping cookware...

For this trip, Jinx was bursting with anticipation.

Logan’s hand—which had been holding up Jinx’s butt—had already pulled away. He reached toward a piece of at—

And Jinx imdiately opened her mouth and bit his cheek.

"Wash your hands!"

"I don’t care," Logan muttered.

"I care," Jinx huffed.

Logan did as she said, washed his hands, then started cutting at. As he cut, he said:

"However long you want. If you want to co back, we co back. If you don’t, we stay out and keep traveling—unless sothing big happens and we have to return to Zaun. Otherwise... my ti from here on out is yours. I’ll be with you."

Hearing that, Jinx let out a delighted little giggle.

Happy Jinxie swayed on Logan’s back, rocking side to side, then leaned down and bit him again.

Logan didn’t feel pain anyway.

And Jinx knew it—Logan actually liked it when she bit him.

He loved it.
