Outside the treehouse, Karma looked Irelia up and down. As the living embodint of Ionia's spirit, Karma could see things in Irelia that ordinary people never could.

Naly—

The Spirit of Ionia.

This girl was deeply favored by the Spirit of Ionia. The attention Ionia's spirit gave her seed… not much less than what it gave Karma herself.

That surprised Karma.

Because it ant that, if nothing went wrong, Irelia's future potential ceiling wouldn't be any lower than Karma's—aning… Ionia's future might gain another demigod.

So Karma took the initiative and spoke to Irelia first. "You're the Xan girl who led the resistance and drove out Noxus, aren't you?"

The mont Irelia was addressed, her body stiffened. Then she bowed respectfully. "Yes. Xan Irelia… greetings."

"No need for that." Karma shook her head. "If anything, I should be the one thanking you."

"Thanking ?"

"Yes." Karma smiled softly. "Every generation of Karma thanks you. You deserve it, Irelia. If it weren't for you, Ionia would still be missing the courage to change."

She—Darha—knew that the true turning point of the Noxian invasion had been when Darha ignored the opposition around her and struck Noxus's warships head-on.

But in truth, if Irelia's resistance hadn't given Darha the courage first, Darha might have been persuaded by Karma after Karma, blocked by monk after monk.

That was why Darha held Irelia in such high regard.

On the side, Akali heard Karma's praise and couldn't help feeling a little jealous. She gathered her courage, stepped forward, and pointed at herself.

"What about ? How am I doing?"

"You're impressive too. And yes—I know about you." Karma looked at Akali and continued, "You gave up the honor of being the Fist of Shadow. You left the Order and chose a path completely different from everything you were taught, all to save Ionia. That isn't sothing ordinary people can do."

Akali nodded enthusiastically, grinning. "Thank you."

Ha!

Now when she went back to the Kinkou Order and told Shen—told her mother—that they were wrong, how could they still brush her off?

And if Shen and her mother still looked down on her, still thought she was just a kid causing trouble…

Then Akali would bring up Karma. The Enlightened One had praised her!

Shen might be strong, but could he be stronger than Karma?

Of course not!

Buzzing with excitent, Akali asked another question. "What about Logan?"

Karma's expression turned strange. A seer didn't lie, so she said it plainly.

"Compared to him?"

"You two… aren't comparable at all," Karma said calmly.

"…"

Inside the treehouse, Logan was trying to talk Jinx down.

Honestly, letting Ahri and Jinx et wasn't a big deal.

But Ahri had absolutely, positively, under no circumstances been supposed to say Logan was hers—especially not while turning into a woman.

Jinx was the jealous type. The extrely jealous type. She had almost no sense of safety in her heart.

It was only because Logan—and Zaun—had helped heal her over these years, so her ntal state wasn't like it used to be. Otherwise, if this had been the old Jinx, she'd probably already be full-on lting down.

Hadn't she completely snapped the mont she saw Vi back then—just because Caitlyn stepped out too?

Vi couldn't talk her down at all. Jinx had been so far gone she'd even tried to shoot Vi.

"Listen—when we fought the Darkin in Zaun, she was the one who ca out and helped us," Logan said quickly. "I'm alive because she saved ."

"Logan, that's not what I want to hear," Jinx said flatly. "I don't care what she did. I want to know who she is—and what she is to you."

"She's my patron deity," Logan said. "To , she's the sa as Janna."

"The sa?" Jinx's eyes narrowed. "No, Logan. She's a woman. And Janna is a bird."

Logan stared. "Jinx, Janna can turn into a woman too. You've seen her human form."

"That's different," Jinx huffed. "Janna can turn human, sure—but she's never said 'you're mine' like that. And she—she's totally different from Janna. The way she talks, the way she moves… she doesn't feel like a deity at all."

"Not like a deity?" Logan asked. "Then what does she feel like?"

"A fox temptress."

"…"

A fox temptress, huh?

Honestly… Ahri was a fox spirit. Even if her personality could be sweet and simple, her charm was absolutely real.

Logan chuckled helplessly. "Jinx, trust . You're overthinking this. You're the kind of person who gets jealous of everything—back in Bilgewater you got jealous over Sarah Fortune, and now you're jealous over Ahri."

"Ahri and I are just friends. Think about it—even if I wanted sothing to happen, it's impossible. She's a deity. Why would she ever look at that way?"

Jinx slamd the table. "Why wouldn't she?!"

Logan blinked. "So… she should look at that way?"

"No!" Jinx snapped instantly. "She's not allowed to!"

Logan couldn't help laughing.

To be honest, even though he'd gotten used to Jinx's jealous streak, he still wasn't good at handling it.

Still—is this so kind of jealousy showdown?

No, Logan and Ahri were totally—wait.

Was he really innocent?

Logan suddenly froze.

He suddenly rembered sothing.

The first person to see him naked… had been Ahri.

Not Jinx.

And Logan had never dared to tell Jinx that.

So Jinx still believed she was the first person to ever… touch him, tease him, play with him.

"Logan," Jinx muttered, deadly serious, "you need to explain this clearly. What is that fox temptress really about? What happened between you and her in that other world? Did you ever betray behind my back?"

"She—did she see things she wasn't supposed to see? Did she play with things she wasn't supposed to play with?"

I'd love to let her try—BUT DO I HAVE A DEATH WISH?!

Logan laughed in disbelief, then pinched Jinx's cheeks hard and said loudly, "Nothing happened. We're just friends. Everything you're imagining? Not a single one of those things happened. Happy now? Are you really so jealous you won't even believe ?"

"Of course I believe you," Jinx said, her words muffled because he was squishing her face. She looked genuinely upset. "But Logan—she's… she's way too unfair-looking. If I were a man, I wouldn't be able to help myself."

"I'm not doubting you," she added quietly. "I'm doubting instinct."

"I an… I'm a woman and even I almost can't help myself. So what about you guys?"

"You make a strong point," Logan said seriously. "But I really did hold back."

"Fine, let's say you held back." Jinx blinked. "What about her? Did she hold back?"

"She's so strong—what if she forced you?"

"And books say fox temptresses are never good. Don't fox temptresses survive by doing that kind of thing?"

"Jinx, she's not a monster—she's a deity." Logan groaned. "What on earth have you been stuffing into that head of yours? Are you sure those books you read in secret are 'normal adventure stories'?"

"And also—? Forced? I'm a perfectly ordinary person. Why would she force ?"

"Ordinary?" Jinx said earnestly. "Don't I want to force you to do that kind of thing with every single day?"

Logan went blank for a second, then burst out laughing. He pinched her cheeks again, then finally let go.

Yeah, sotis Logan found Jinx's jealousy troubleso.

A girlfriend who gets mad the mont another woman gets close, who constantly interrogates you—over ti, anyone would get annoyed.

But Jinx was different.

When Logan truly accepted her, he'd already prepared himself for this.

Because she was unstable—clinically unstable, the kind that could co with a doctor's note. Her feelings were a swamp. Logan had known that from the start.

And he'd jumped in willingly.

Besides, Jinx really treated Logan like a treasure. She wouldn't let anyone insult him. In her eyes, he was the best person in the world. Her world was filled with Logan, everywhere she looked.

With that in mind, how could he ever find her annoying?

At most, he felt helpless. Sotis speechless.

"You're the only one who treats like I'm priceless," Logan said, shaking his head.

But Jinx kept pushing, her expression stern. "So what's the real truth? Did you lie to ? It would make sense. I… I'm not enough, right?", the last words coming out with a slight break in her voice.

Alright. Talking wasn't going to convince her.

So… stop talking.

Just kiss her.

Kiss her until she's dizzy, breathless, and quiet.

Like so people online joke—just hold her close and let her forget what she was angry about.

With that thought, Logan leaned in fast.

"Mmph—"

A soft, breathy sound escaped her, half resisting, half yielding—exactly like Logan expected.

Jinx's body ward up, her limbs went loose, and she gradually… settled down.

Outside the treehouse, Karma, for so reason, suddenly coughed.

That drew Akali and Irelia's attention. But when the two girls looked at her, Karma said nothing—just stared ahead with a calm face, though a hint of embarrassnt flashed through her eyes.

Spying really wasn't sothing she should be doing.

Logan's "lesson" only stopped when he noticed a streak of blue-green.

He released Jinx and turned quickly. "Janna? When did you get here?"

On the desk, a small, beautiful blue bird tilted its head slightly, its tiny eyes calm as it looked at Logan.

The bird spoke in a composed tone—yet the words hit Logan like a lightning bolt.

"Right when you stuck your tongue out, rubbed her chest hard, and said you like them small, so she should stop getting jealous about this kind of thing."

"???"

"Ahem—" Logan coughed sharply and shoved the topic aside with sheer panic. "You're here, and you didn't say anything?"

Damn it—Janna saw everything!

And Jinx?

She was flushed and dazed, leaning against the wall. Her bright blue eyes were glassy with moisture.

She was so obedient right now she barely looked like herself, staring blankly at the desk.

Her upper body was completely still, but her long, straight legs shifted faintly, and one hand was pressed between her thighs as she sat there, empty-headed and silent.

"I did speak," Janna said imdiately, her tone completely flat. "I told you to stop kissing her. You ignored . That's on you, Logan. You were too into it."

Embarrassnt?

Not happening.

A goddess had seen it all.

And Janna was different from Ahri. Ahri, in Spirit Blossom, didn't get exposed to things like this very often.

But Janna was Zaun's deity. Over centuries, she'd seen far too much of this sort of thing.

So believers even cried out her na while doing it, begging her to "join in" so they could feel like she was part of it.

That was the difference.

Janna had more divinity.

Ahri had more humanity.

Even with Logan's thick skin, he couldn't handle this. So he hurriedly asked, "What did you co for?"

"I'm delivering a ssage." Janna spoke like a ssenger bird. "Silco asked to tell you: Singed has already boarded an Enforcers' Hextech airship. He should arrive in Ionia by this evening."

"And also—your pirate captain friend from Bilgewater ran into trouble. Silco wants to know if Zaun should step in and help her."

"Sarah Fortune is in trouble?" Logan's eyes widened.

Janna lifted one wing and nodded. "Yes. And it's not small. Silco said that if Zaun doesn't help, she's probably finished."
