Now reading: Chapter 70: The Traitor from Arceus's Pirate Journey, a Fantasy novel by White dove.

Sohow, a few n in black had appeared on the ship, and even many of the remaining crew mbers were standing on their side.

The Wald Pirates had unexpectedly split into two factions.

And at the forefront was a mber who had joined the pirate crew just recently.

"We’ve gotten along pretty well during this ti, but unfortunately, we’re not really your comrades. Finger Gun!"

They struck Wald again as he lay on the ground, and only after confirming that he wouldn’t suddenly get up, did they breathe a sigh of relief.

The situation changed suddenly, and the command from above had shifted from infiltrating the Wald Pirates to luring them into an ambush, to seizing the opportunity to capture the severely injured Wald.

This was an opportunity; if they waited for him to recover, it might require a greater cost to capture him.

The agents lurking on the ship observed that the Wald Pirates were currently in a rare period of vulnerability.

The Captain was severely injured, and both Gaielam and Sebastian, who were mainly responsible for combat, were also injured and heavily exhausted, leaving only the non-combatant Bingjack unhard.

So they initiated the rebellion prematurely.

"Bastards... to even let agents of the World Governnt board the ship... and why you guys?! You’ve been on the ship for so long, aren’t we partners?!"

Bingjack’s voice was filled with desolation. It was reasonable for the newly boarded crew to be agents, but even those who were his earliest comrades, crew mbers he had been with for years.

They, too, chose to rebel and turned their guns on their partners.

"I’m sorry, Brother Bingjack, but Captain Wald has gone crazy. He actually wants to destroy the World Governnt; how could such a thing succeed?!

And... and...."

The rest of the words seed to bring him so sha; he couldn’t speak them for a long ti, so a CP agent continued.

"And we’ve promised that once Wald and his ship’s officers are captured, the others will be pardoned. If you don’t want to suffer, surrender now."

Looking at his brother lying in a pool of blood, Bingjack shouted, enduring the pain: "Now I, as acting Captain, announce the temporary disbandnt of the Wald Pirates. Everyone’s goal is to survive, and break out individually!"

Having just broken through to a safe spot, the Wald Pirates descended into chaos once more, as Sebastian and others with depleted strength faced the rebelling subordinates and could only break out with difficulty.

"Chinese Herbal Fist - Ginseng Vitality!"

As the ship’s doctor, Nightin scattered a cloud of dicinal powder towards their own people, temporarily stimulating their vitality. Although there would undoubtedly be consequences later, there was no ti for hesitation now.

With his last bit of strength, Sebastian cradled several officers in his arms and, taking several bullets, leaped into the water, relying on the physical endurance of a fish-man to flee into the distance.....

Even though those officers managed to escape, Wald was captured, making the plan a major success for them.

"Sir, we’ve done as you instructed, now..."

"Oh, you’re talking about the pardon, right? We’ll do that." Saying this, he pierced his chest with a Finger Gun, while the remaining CP agents each went into action.

In the face of these superhumans cultivated by the World Governnt, the small fry simply stood no chance.

Their main goal was to bring back Wald; without him, those few officers couldn’t stir up much trouble, and the rebels were unstable factors that of course needed to be eliminated once things concluded.

"How could the Governnt ever forgive pirates? There are always naive people who believe such nonsense."

"Isn’t it better this way? The more fools there are, the smoother our plans can proceed."

Although not absolute, after all, the Seven Warlords of the Sea system would be proposed in a few years.

The pirates selected as Seven Warlords of the Sea hold the special status of being allowed to legally plunder, but such pirates need to demonstrate their value; ordinary minions without any background don’t have the qualification to negotiate with the World Governnt.

"How’s the photo collection going?" After securing Wald with seastone handcuffs, the agents moved him toward their target location; as long as they handed him over to the Prison Ship, their mission would be complete.

anwhile, the head agent posed a question to his subordinates.

As the intelligence agency of the World Governnt, they also moonlight as photographers, the strongest profession, obtaining photos of certain wanted criminals.

"We’ve captured the officers’ photos, and also these. Let the higher-ups arrange them later."

He pointed to the small cara in his arms, looking as if to assure his competence.

A few days later, the Hundred Beasts Pirates’ feast had concluded, and they had occupied the nearby island chain, establishing a territory in the New World.

The victory banquet was over, and it was ti for business. The small island where Kaidou and Wald battled had beco a desolate place, and Arceus had turned it into a cetery for the Hundred Beasts Pirates, leaving headstones for the mbers who died in battle.

For most pirates, this was already a rare occurrence, as many pirates t their end through burials at sea. Drifting across the sea, they held no fixed abode, and few cared about their common fallen subordinates, let alone arranging burial grounds.

This action slightly enhanced the sense of belonging to the Hundred Beasts Pirates, making the ssy rules of the Hundred Beasts Pirates seem worthwhile.

With the feast over and the dead buried, most of the injured had received treatnt, leaving Kaidou to fulfill his promise of rewards and comndations.

The most basic rewards were wealth, which was what most pirates needed most.

Whether it was alcohol or anything else, within the territory, they had to buy it themselves. Asie had established a discount for mbers of the pirate crew to purchase things at cost price, but opposed freeloading, in all senses of the word.

Similarly, even if they really wanted to solicit companions, they had to pay for it, as the trade in human vices was always booming on the sea; he knew that this issue was fundantally uncontrollable; even the Navy hadn’t banned it.

He could only enforce a rule against harassing ordinary civilians, which was initially tricky to implent, but improved after Shaina handled a few typical cases.

But it wasn’t just about punishnt; without rewards, the rules that Asie previously discussed with Arceus played a role: the person who received the ultimate reward must be soone who hadn’t violated any rules for a continuous period.

This ti, the first person to charge onto Wald’s ship happened to be such a person; he was also the first to jump down and rescue Queen, making him the first beneficiary among the Hundred Beasts Pirates.

"Babanuki, co up. Today you’ll learn why you must respectfully call him the Sacred Beast!"
