Sotis retribution cos quickly. He hadn’t been smug for long before Kaidou appeared behind him.
The stronger the subordinates, the happier Kaidou is. Whether in external wars or fighting himself, only strong subordinates can deliver better results. So when he heard they were back, Kaidou naturally ca looking for them.
Everyone in the Hundred Beasts knows what kind of character Kaidou has. Seeing Kaidou clearly wanting to spar with Queen, Setsuna unhesitatingly conveyed Queen’s words, though the ssage got a bit distorted.
It seed like it was said by Queen, but it differed greatly from his original intent.
"He also said that even Zeraora can only play second fiddle to him!"

As Setsuna cunningly misled Kaidou, Queen hurriedly tried to defend himself. But then, a familiar sound ca from Setsuna’s hand.

"Only an Admiral, those were your exact words. And doesn’t that imply that Zeraora is just assisting you~"

Hearing his own voice on the recorder, Queen realized that Setsuna had been scheming. Normally, who would bring such a thing along?

Is Kaidou easy to fool? The answer is no, not when he’s sober. He understood clearly that Queen was rely showing off.

Setsuna wasn’t exactly sure about the outco, but according to so gossip from the Ghost Island pirates, Kaidou laughed very heartily that day.
As for Queen, he wasn’t having an easy ti. As strong as Gift of Nature might be, it was useless in such a context; the place wasn’t right, and also his physical condition didn’t allow it.
If he used it again now, Queen would truly be drained.

So ti later, Yamato returned to Ghost Island, carrying a large bag of specialties from her travels. Without Kaidou’s pressure, she had been quite happy outside, only to see a figure gorging in the cafeteria upon her return.
