Wang Yun seized those critical 1.5 seconds, effortlessly lifting his sniper rifle.

Boom!

The last of the program inspectors from the United States fell to the ground mid-sprint.

Simultaneously, Everick halted. He felt that his last inspector had just been eliminated. As he turned, he saw his man’s body collapse to the ground with a heavy thud.

“Ahhh!”

Everick went berserk. He spun around, gun raised, ready to fire at Wang Yun.

But Wang Yun had anticipated his reaction. With a swift backhand motion, he flicked a stone he had been hiding. It struck Everick’s wrist precisely, causing the gun to drop.

Everick’s only remaining weapon clattered to the ground. Without a second thought, he bent to retrieve it, but Wang Yun was quicker. He grabbed his submachine gun and unleashed a barrage of bullets.

The gun was reduced to nothing more than a heap of twisted tal.

Everick stood frozen in shock. His eyes widened, transfixed on the heap of twisted tal before him. Suddenly, Everick lost his voice. Not even a final roar escaped his lips.

He was defeated. Utterly defeated.

His weapon was gone.

Face Wang Yun in hand-to-hand combat? That would be sheer masochism.

Everick fell to his knees, not in submission to Wang Yun, but in penance for the program officers whose lives were lost due to his mistakes.

“Ah!”

A few seconds later, Everick’s roar tore through the silence, echoing into the sky. Yet, Wang Yun stood before him, his expression impassive.

“Aren’t you going to kill ? Weren’t you looking to revenge your brothers?” Wang Yun’s voice was taunting. “Here I am right in front of you. Do I look like the man I once was?”

Wang Yun’s mocking words stabbed into Everick’s heart like sharp swords. In the livestream, as Wang Yun’s last sentence fell, the audience erupted.

The chat exploded with comnts.

“I’m standing right in front of you now, do you see if I look anything like before?”

“666! Big Brother is unstoppable! Hahaha, he’s no longer the Fugitive he once was!”

“Big Brother’s shooting was absolutely divine just now!”

“Man, if I were Everick, I’d kill myself on the spot out of sheer embarrassnt. That was brutally humiliating!”

“He totally had it coming. Rember how cocky he was when he first joined this show?”

“I rember him bragging that his team was brave and valiant and that Wang Yun wouldn’t stand a chance against them!”

“Yeah, rember when the China team wanted to ally with them? Look how they treated us!”

“Aweso! Big Bro really avenged us!”

“One chicken down with each shot, hilarious!”

“Chicken Everick, go back to your country!”

The audience in the livestream was electrified, screaming with excitent. So even left the stream to start their own streams. In their own livestream, they were shouting, “Wang Yun is a legend! Big Brother is unstoppable!”

Joy for so was sorrow for others. In stark contrast to Wang Yun’s livestream was Everick’s livestream.

Coniso was dead, and the entire United States team was annihilated. Everick was publicly humiliated and brought to his knees.

This scene led to a drastic drop in viewership for the United States live broadcast, from over 200 million at the start to just 30 million.

The viewers couldn’t bear to watch any longer. It was a total face-slap. So arrogantly delivered.

Moreover, the 30 million who remained were unanimously in support of Wang Yun.

“Wang Yun is truly powerful. Everick shouldn’t be disheartened, losing to him isn’t disgraceful at all!”

“Yes, he’s a strong opponent who deserves respect!”

“From what I’ve seen all along, whether it’s physical strength, skills, or intelligence, he surpasses our program inspectors in every aspect. There’s no disgrace in that!”

“Everick, don’t cry! We still hold our heads high. Our bodies may be defeated, but our spirit remains unyielding!”

“Enough with the encouragent. Everick was representing our nation, and to be beaten like that… He shouldn’t co back, it’s embarrassing!”

So offered praise or criticism, others encouraged. Yet, many more chose to remain silent.

“Everick, I didn’t plan to end the United States’ participation so soon,” Wang Yun began, his tone disapproving. “But your ignorance and your impulsiveness have completely clouded your judgnt. Your actions over the past few days have been a disappointnt. I hope you’ll improve in the future.”

Wang Yun glanced at Everick’s disheveled and dejected appearance, making his remarks with a hint of derision before turning to gesture nonchalantly at assassins nearby. With a swift move, he climbed into the car and drove away with flair.

Continue to improve?

A Fugitive advising the inspector who aid to capture him to keep up the good work. What an ironic twist.

Wang Yun chose not to finish off Everick, not out of rcy, but because yesterday when he captured his three subordinates, he called him a lousy leader.

but to remind him of his failure when he called his own leadership worthless while capturing his subordinates yesterday. He deliberately left Everick alive to face his ‘dead’ n and reflect on his own incompetence.

“Brother Yun! You’re so cool! But why didn’t you finish him off?”

“Yeah, Brother Yun, your shooting skills are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Can you teach ?”

The four assassins chatted excitedly in the car.

All of them had sustained so injuries, but none were fatal. Moreover, since it was all simulated, there was no actual physical pain.

Caught up in their excitent, they put all else out of their minds.

Wang Yun sat in the back, his face adorned with a faint smile as he leaned against the leather seat. Casually crossing his legs, he gazed out the window. At that mont, he exuded the aura of a formidable organization leader.

“Sotis, living is more painful than dying,” Wang Yun said, causing the four others in the car to shiver.

They couldn’t help but feel a chill. The boss, seemingly harmless and always smiling faintly, seed indifferent about everything. He appeared relaxed and nonchalant. But in truth, he was a ruthless and sinister maniac.

Indeed, under certain circumstances, death could indeed be a release.

“Today’s actions must have been noticed by the program inspection teams from other countries,” Wang Yun continued, unfazed by the stunned expressions of his companions. What he needed to do now was to quickly prepare for the next steps.

Silently eliminating the United States team would surely raise alarms among other nations. Likely, the program inspection teams from other countries might band together. If they unite and then counterattack, the difficulty would significantly increase.

Thus, they must capitalize on the current situation where these teams had minimal information. Ti was a critical factor for survival.

“When you return, make sure to heal well and aim for a swift recovery. There are more exciting tasks ahead for you,” Wang Yun said.

Upon hearing this, the four assassins were taken aback. Even the production team’s workhorses don’t push themselves this hard.

Poor program inspection teams, brace yourselves for the storm. Now, the hunter’s net begins to close.
