Steven still had plenty of things like Originite Pri and Netherite. Using so of those to strengthen his weapon wouldn't exactly make his heart ache.
But the rest of that list was just ridiculous.
Setting aside bedrock—which you couldn't even obtain without special thods or Creative Mode—most of those materials were endga items from top-tier mods. None of them were things he could casually get his hands on.
As for sothing as absurd as Infinity Ingots—if he really had those, he'd have already crafted a Sword of the Cosmos and gone to negotiate with the will of this world. With a blade at its neck, wouldn't he get whatever he wanted?
"Hey, don't look at like that. Everything I said was true," Enma protested.
"If you don't mind the hassle, you could even craft them into swords first and fuse them with . Either way, my sharpness will increase. I'm not trying to trick you—I won't lie to you."
"Of course," she added, "how much sharpness each material gives isn't sothing I can control. And when I'll finally break the cap and recover that authority… even I don't know."
She wasn't wrong. If Steven wanted that outco, these steps really were unavoidable.
"…Though, honestly, if you could just hand a single Infinity Ingot, that'd probably be enough," she added, imdiately breaking her seriousness.
"If you can pull that off, I'll slice apart this fake sky for you, mince every so-called God and Feranmut into at paste, and give this world a bright and peaceful future."
She raised an eyebrow at Steven, then made a chopping motion with her hand, clearly trying to egg him on.
"Then why don't I just flip the table and turn on Creative Mode?" Steven snapped back.
"What use would I have for you then? Eat your alloys."
He casually pulled a Netherite Ingot from his inventory and stuffed it straight into Enma's mouth, silencing her chatter. Shaking his head, he knew full well that relying purely on feeding her materials was a gamble—who knew how long it would take? If he dumped all his resources into her, he'd be stretched thin later on.
Enma, Netherite still in her mouth, rely shrugged. She grabbed the ingot with both hands and started crunching on it like a squirrel chewing sunflower seeds.
Crunch. Crunch
"Wait. Sothing's off."
Just when Enma thought the matter was settled and that she could happily live the rest of her days as a material-devouring trash can—eat, sleep, repeat—Steven suddenly slapped his forehead.
"Yeah, no. You're definitely hiding sothing. You said you wouldn't lie to —but you never said you couldn't leave things out. And knowing my personality, if I really wanted sothing, I'd never say everything outright. I'd always reveal half and keep half hidden."
His thoughts snapped into place with frightening speed.
If Enma really had inherited his twisted personality, then there had to be a third option. The reason she hadn't ntioned it was obvious:
First, she wanted to watch more chaos unfold.
Second, she was probably waiting for things to reach a critical point—so she could jump out like a hero and save the day.
Why was he so sure?
Because as the person who understood his own garbage personality better than anyone—he knew this routine all too well.
Which ant, inevitably—Enma was hiding a third solution.
Hearing this, Enma rely pressed her lips together in a smile. She didn't explain a thing—just wore an expression that plainly said:
So what if I am? What are you gonna do about it?
"If you really refuse to talk, I'll just switch to a Red Matter Sword instead. That thing looks way more convenient than you. As for the Abyssal Hunters' problem—worst case, I flip the table. Once I have that weapon, I'll have enough leverage to negotiate with the masters of the Seaborn."
Steven looked at the girl who was clearly in full I-don't-care-anymore mode, chuckled softly, and shrugged as he casually dropped those words.
The initiative was in his hands.
He didn't even know how he could possibly lose here.
"That's not allowed!"
The instant Steven ntioned switching weapons, Enma's erald slit pupils snapped into blood-red round ones. She stomped the ground hard, carving a blade-like gouge into the floor, then grabbed Steven's arm tightly and delivered a textbook yandere declaration.
"Your weapon can only be ! Forget Red Matter Swords— even if a Sword of the Cosmos were placed in front of you, you'd still have to choose !"
It seed that even though absorbing Steven's mories had twisted her personality into sothing resembling his, at her core she was still very much a crazy sword—and that part hadn't changed at all.
Honestly… more troubleso, yes—but in a way, easier to handle.
If she'd truly ended up with the exact sa personality as him, things would've been far worse. Knowing his own terrible nature, Steven felt a hint of relief.
"Then are you going to talk?"
"First tell whether you're switching weapons."
"I won't—if you talk."
Like a parent bargaining with a child, Steven nodded calmly.
"Fine. If you promise that whenever you get a new weapon in the future, you'll just feed it to , I'll tell you."
"If you're this annoying, I'll just stop listening."
Steven had no intention of bargaining. From the way she phrased it, she clearly had the ability to absorb and replace other weapons—but backing down now would only make her push further.
"Wait—don't! It's actually pretty simple."
Enma finally caved, she lowered her head, fingers fiddling with the hem of her kimono.
"If you can get more items infused with this world's law and give them to , I won't be able to permanently awaken the authority of separation—but using it once or twice should be no problem."
"Then why did you say increasing sharpness or enchanting durability was useless?"
"It is useless—but that doesn't an the experience used for durability enchants can't be extracted and reused. You know there are mods that do that, right?"
"…So, later on, are you going to say that it's not that you didn't tell —it's that I didn't ask?"
"Exactly, Master! You figured out everything I was going to say!"
