Upon hearing Su Huan's explanation, the crowd's entranced gaze drawn to the serum suddenly beca much clearer.

Liang Kuan, Xiaoba, and the other seasoned passengers had sowhat nuanced expressions, their attention intensely focused on Su Huan.

He Jie and Mountain Goat had obviously used this stuff before, but mixing the two serums together was sothing they hadn't heard of, making them curious about what Su Huan was planning next.

Only Lin Jin was hearing about this for the first ti, and he regarded it with a sense of novelty.

"Oh right, I forgot to introduce, this is Lin Jin, a Tier One 'Fire Bringer'. Welco to the Ard Train."

Lin Jin hesitantly nodded his head.

Before he could decide whether or not to say sothing,

he noticed Su Huan's hand move.

"Eh, eh? Eh?!!"

Three consecutive sounds represented his surprise and horror.

However, this did not affect Su Huan's enthusiasm at all. The originally fitting smile was almost stretching to the back of his ears, like the demon king in a story, excitent glittering in his eyes.

In the shocked gazes of everyone, he poured the two vials of serum in his hand onto the ground.

The two dark crimson liquids combined in mid-air into a pool of clear black water, shining like black gemstones under the light, an attraction from the genetic level seizing everyone's gaze, as they watched the black liquid spread across the floor of the compartnt.

The slight sound of water falling upon the eardrum was like a heavy drum, louder than the gunshots outside the train.

Accompanied by the train compartnt's shaking, the liquid danced and flowed, scattering around.

The atmosphere in the compartnt instantly fell into dead silence.

Su Huan looked at the stiff crowd and let out a small "eh", "Why no applause? You all don't seem to appreciate my welcoming ceremony?"

In Wan Xing's glasses, a few streams of information flashed by, and she fell into silence.

She had anticipated Su Huan utilizing these two serums, but hadn't imagined he would use them on the train.

He Jie's face twitched unnaturally, glancing at the ground, then at Su Huan, speaking in a dry voice, "How long will the effect of this fusion serum last?"

Su Huan casually tossed aside the test tubes, clapped his hands, "A little over an hour, anyway, not two hours."

"Do you even know how many zombies and Evolution Beasts are within a fifty-kiloter radius?"

"One hundred thousand, two hundred thousand?"

He Jie took a deep breath, trying his best to hold back his boiling mind, wanting to explain to Su Huan exactly how foolish—no, how insane—his actions really were.

"Changli County doesn't have a large resident population. Including tourists, it's not even three hundred thousand. After the Steel Council's purge, there may be only just over a hundred thousand left, but we haven't fully entered the center of the county yet. Within fifty kiloters, which includes three districts and counties including Changli County, there's a population of at least a million."

"There's also a zoo and more than ten large breeding farms, each containing at least tens of thousands of animals."

As He Jie continued, he couldn't hold back anymore, turning into a roaring warrior.

Listening to his words, even Yu Yue realized what they were about to face.

In two hours, a corpse horde composed of zombies and Evolution Beasts of a million scale will surge towards the train.

Everyone's hearts sank to the bottom.

However, old passengers like Xiaoba and Wan Xing were not so desperate. Is there anything more insane than driving a train through a corpse horde in the apocalypse?

That would be following a seemingly normal but actually manic train conductor.

That's pretty good.

At least they had the right to know.

The passengers behind them didn't know how many tis they had already lined up in front of the Yama Hall.

Of course, not completely oblivious.

The sleeping Lu Xiao was awakened by the sedative, grabbing Miao Qi's hand beside him.

His voice hoarse, "I feel the train conductor is stirring things up again."

Miao Qi comforted, "There's nothing you can do either, just sleep well, close your eyes and open them, maybe you'll be born into a good family."

Lu Xiao coughed, "Is it appropriate to say this to a sick person?"

Miao Qi unlocked the man's clenched hand, pressed her face against it gently, "I'll stay with you."

Lu Xiao was taken aback, and touched her soft cheek without saying anything.

The train compartnt returned to calm once again.

But the two collectors in compartnt 20 weren't feeling so optimistic.

The ring-wearing man banged his head against the compartnt wall, muttering curses hysterically under his breath, "Damn, damn, damn! I should've gotten off then, or maybe revealed my identity!"

The other young man lay on the floor, eyes losing their luster, "Who knew he'd actually win, it's all your damn crow mouth!"

The ring-wearing man was shocked, "This is my fault?"

"Shit! I guess you have a point."

"Why don't you analyze it again, see if the Ard Train has any chances of survival?"

"Survive what, you think this is a novel? The train is invincible. This is the real world, dude. There are too many ways to derail a train, I can think of dozens off the bat; it's not just about having enough defense!"

"Really dead?"

"Just see if the Steel Council will silence us, there's still a sliver of hope."

"Damn, didn't have ti to be with those girls from the package deal before having to do this mission with you."

"Package deal? Girls?"

"Company perk, if we survive I'll help you apply for it…"

"No, you missed a detail."

Su Huan waved a finger in front of He Jie's face.

He Jie jerked his head up, as if catching a glimpse of so turning point, "What?"

Su Huan smiled, "There's also plants. Mutant plants can feel the call of the sedative too, but their moving speed is slower, but... better late than never!"

He Jie's mouth gaped wide, taking a swift breath, then clenched his fists and stomped hard on the compartnt floor, causing the entire car to shake and a muffled boom to echo through.
