As for Wen Biao’s little sches, they are quite normal.

People without desires have no handles.

Handles will be discarded, and so will people.

"Boom——"

An explosion sounded from afar.

"This, huh?"

Su Huan hadn’t finished speaking when the once bustling comrcial street descended into chaos.

Vendors started packing up in a flurry, and passersby showcased their skills, dashing away.

A street vendor at the corner flicked a stick, instantly turning his stall into a bundle, slung it over his shoulder, and dashed into the electric bike charging shed, climbing up to the second-floor balcony.

The group eating earlier wordlessly lifted a manhole cover and climbed down.

After a series of muffled bangs, the lively street turned into a desolate ruin, devoid of any signs of human life as if monsters had wandered through.

Only the eyes on the Horse Doctor hospital building coldly watched Su Huan and others below.

"It must be sothing with the Guang Li convoy."

Wen Biao identified the direction and spoke with certainty.

"Zombies?"

Su Huan was sowhat surprised.

Wen Biao frowned, "Although there are still many zombies in Xinma County, they are hidden in nooks and crannies, and the organized ones have been dismantled and cleared by us. Although the Guang Li convoy is the weakest, they wouldn’t make such a fuss over a few zombies."

"Da-da-da... "

Wen Biao turned around in doubt and uncertainty, "How could sothing happen to Da Guang’s convoy too?"

"Quick, let’s go back quickly; the two convoy locations are completely different. Sothing big must be affecting the entire Xinma County!"

"Emm, don’t rush."

Su Huan had a subtle look in his eyes. He wasn’t sure about the previous explosion, but the "da-da-da" sound of gunfire behind them seed very familiar.

Turning around, he saw the sa peculiar expression in Bai Lu and the giraffe’s eyes.

...

Guang Li Convoy Headquarters, Auto Repair Shop.

A man with a piece of flesh missing from his arm sat stiffly in a tire ring, drenched in scorching blood, yet dared not move an inch.

He watched as groups of soldiers coordinated to slaughter the mbers of the convoy inside the repair shop.

A shirtless strongman erged from behind a pickup truck, holding two pulled grenades, and shouted wildly, "Damn it, catch this!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a dense rain of bullets whipped like a lash.

It directly turned the burly man’s body into an unrecognizable bloody ss.

"Boom Boom——"

The explosion of grenades did not drown out the sound of heavy machine-gun fire.

"One person behind the pillar at three o’clock."

"Two people under the red sedan."

"One person in the bed of the black pickup truck out front."

"..."

The soldiers standing in the rear said clearly.

Following the indicated spots, the Firepower Hands in the team imdiately began to suppress.

In the face of heavy machine-gun fire, both sedans and pickup trucks were no more than thick pieces of paper.

The swept areas were completely silent, with no sign of life.

"Reload."

"Cover."

The heavy machine gun paused for a mont.

Because the soldier’s voice was unrestrained, as they said "reload," Guang Li convoy mbers scrambled from behind cover, only to face more precise shots.

The repair shop instantly turned into a cruel slaughterhouse, and seeing this scene, San Ge felt a chill run down his spine.

Even when completely overwhelming, they still play tricks.

What a black-hearted tactic!

The convoy’s only Tier One Evolver was taken out in advance, unable to fight or hide.

In less than a minute, only the sound of his ragged breathing and the crisp sound of soldiers’ finishing shots echoed inside the repair shop.

"Pa-pa..."

Each sound struck his heart.

What weighed on him even more heavily was the cold, hard footsteps approaching him.

Every step the combat boots took on the ground seed to have a sticky, pulling sound.

Watching the soldiers compare photos to his face, then raise their gun, San Ge scread in terror, "I know Captain Lin, I want to see Captain Lin!"

The soldier indeed hesitated for a mont.

Then reported the matter to the officer behind.

The officer stepped forward, looked at the man sitting in the tire, then compared him to the list in his hand.

It printed images of San Ge trading large bags of herbs with the convoy, the scars on his arm clearly visible even through the train’s high-definition surveillance.

"Using similar mutant plants as herbs, amount... three pounds, clothes cheap in quality, quantity twelve pieces, right?"

The officer looked coldly at the other party.

San Ge’s pupils contracted, his eyes twitched frantically, "All for this?"

"For these three pounds of herbs, a dozen pieces of clothing, you killed over six hundred people in our convoy?!"

The officer stepped forward and slamd the paper onto San Ge’s forehead.

"With such a small account, you dare claim to know Captain Lin? Ridiculous!"

Drawing a knife from his belt, he flicked his wrist, thrusting it along with the paper into San Ge’s head.

The paper fluttered briefly before being soaked with a massive wave of scarlet blood.

Black and white words turned into bloody script.

...

"Report to Deputy Pang, all over a hundred combat personnel of the Guang Li convoy have been wiped out. The remaining five hundred or so non-combat personnel are being detained, and Group 2 is tallying the loot."

A nacing officer reported loudly.

Pang Tu’s mouth twitched, turning to the officer, "Pang Tu is a code na; my real na is Huang Gang. Next ti I hear the words Deputy Pang, I’ll sew your mouth shut!"

The officer quickly grinned, then loudly acknowledged the order.

"Creak"

The auto repair shop office door opened, and the sll of charred at wafted out of the room.

Pang Tu wiped with his hand, placing a leaf under his nose.

Looking up, he asked, "Did he confess?"

Lin Jin shook his head.

Pang Tu was taken aback, "That tough?"

Lin Jin was speechless, "He was roasted to the bone; how could he still resist? Is it possible that warehouse is all the convoy had?"

Pang Tu’s face instantly fell, "Their small leader dispersed and swapped a lot of herbs, all high-value assets. According to the train master’s rules, all that junk together isn’t worth ten tis that."

"Cough cough."

A gentle voice appeared in their ears.

Both of them imdiately beca serious.

"Leave two officer groups to transport the loot; there are still many targets to complete."

"Understood!"

...

Ma Gong Academy.

The towering barrier was covered with grim spikes, especially in the chaotic monts near dusk, these spikes beca the sharpest fangs in the dark night.

In fact, the teachers and students of Ma Gong realized long ago that these spikes didn’t work against zombies and mutant beasts but effectively blocked ill-intentioned fellow humans.

Just when Lu Yu thought the day would pass quietly, he suddenly heard a series of explosions from the distance.

And a formidable-looking ard off-road vehicle arrived at the gates of Ma Gong Academy.

"Who goes there?!"

After asking, Lu Yu didn’t foolishly stay up there; he slithered down through an internal passage, using a periscope to observe the off-road vehicle from below.

The car door opened, and a pair of tough-looking combat boots touched the ground.

Lu Yu felt sothing was off; he adjusted the angle to look up through the periscope.

He saw an olive-green, wide trench coat, a rigid jaw, and then the opposing silver gun barrel raised.

"Lieutenant Lu Xiao from the ard train, here to collect a debt."

"Boom!"

A burst of fire from the gun barrel roared like the head of a giant lion, shattering the periscope.

’That’s too rough!’

Startled, Lu Yu backed against cover, breaking into a cold sweat.

He hesitated no longer, turning to dart back inside. The sentry’s duty was to warn. This one had such a loud gun, everyone within miles could hear it. No need to put himself at risk any longer; it’s ti to escape.

A large crowd rushed past him, yet Lu Yu felt no sense of safety.

Thinking things over, he ran to the top floor, only to find the office at the end of the corridor empty.

Feeling increasingly uneasy, Lu Yu went downstairs and ran in the opposite direction.

Before he could escape, he saw a woman with a black backpack returning through the hidden passage.

Lu Yu’s heart leapt with joy, "Principal!"
