Edson was leaving the office. The reason he returned to the frontier was to receive the administrator. He thought Executive Administrator Palmas was coming so that was why he returned to welco Palmas himself. He was disappointed there was no Executive Administrator, but he had an expectation for the administrator regardless.
The minus was that the teams did not get along which could be a disaster. He needed to monitor them for now and act later if sothing started going south. Exiting the building, he had not taken one step yet as he saw Baro walking toward him.
Tch!
He clicked his tongue as the thing he feared the most might happen. After having a discussion with his eight generals, they decided on the administrator's post. He made sure to separate the teams in conflict, but it seed like things had escalated.
Letting out a sigh, he asked, "What happens now? Are they fighting?" If a fight broke out, he had no choice but to send them back. While they needed reinforcent, they did not need the people who would cause trouble in this critical situation.
"Ah… No. It's about The Reds. They want to be assigned in the post zero…" Baro explained and told Commander Edson that The Reds were aware of what post zero was.
"It's good if they want to go to post zero, but the problem is, are they strong enough to take post zero?" Commander Edson furrowed his brow. He was glad that soone wanted to be assigned there. People avoided the post-zero-like plague, and it was obvious. Even the most desperate rcenary avoided that place, and he also would not let anyone take the post zero. They needed to be at a certain level to be there, or else they would beco food for the Void Creature.
"And how do they know about post zero? Did you tell them about the post?"
Baro shook his head, "I did not tell them anything about the post. I think they found out from the rcenary. Their leader seems to stay in the bar until the morning."
The answer surprised Edson, not expecting the administrator to mingle with the hopeless rcenary. The image of an administrator in his mind was aloof and arrogant. They would not stoop low to mingle with those rcenaries. Of course, it was just his impression from several etings with most of the administrators.
He recalled the young man with crimson eyes. The man suppressed his aura, barely leaking out so he could not gauge how strong the man was. It would be rude to probe the young man with his aura. But Baro told him that the young man was a new administrator, at least, that was where the conflict ca from. The blond-haired man disagreed that the new administrator led the mission.
'There must be a reason those old guys put them to lead the mission. Alright, this might be the chance to find out whether he is the real deal or just trash to be disposed of by the administrator.'
"Since they want to go to the post zero, then let bring them to my post. What about the other two teams?"
Edson put all three teams into three different posts. It was just a precaution to avoid a silly mistake that they might fight. He was not going to let that happen under his nose.
"Kalisto and Chalice agree with our arrangent. I don't think there would be an issue as long as we separate them." Captain Baro was the one who proposed to separate the three teams to Commander Edson. It was to avoid further conflict in case Chalice felt isolated by the other two teams.
"I will bring The Reds with ," Commander Edson nodded.

Khaya watched how one by one the original mbers of The Reds transford. She was shocked but also relieved. The transformation brought the transford person stronger, tripling or even quadrupling their power. The aura they radiated was an indication that she knew how strong they were.
'Spirit Contractor. I think I understand why The Nirvana Alliance is hell-bent on eradicating all people in the class. It's a broken class with limitless potential. Thankfully he doesn't hold a grudge against Arsus, or we might be in trouble. I have to report this to the Chief to make sure they don't do anything stupid against Tang Shaoyang.'
She could imagine Arsus whining to his father, begging to do sothing to Tang Shaoyang or maybe sothing even worse. A asure was needed before things escalated too far.
While she was in her own thoughts, she t Tang Shaoyang's eyes. She snapped out of her thoughts, "Sorry, did you say sothing?"
"Do you want the fusion with my spirits or not? I am not sure if you elves might not like it or maybe it has sothing to do with your tradition that prohibits you from such a skill." Tang Shaoyang asked.
Khaya furrowed her brow and was about to decline whatever it was. She had a higher chance of survival than most people in this room. However, she could not say the sa for her people.
"There's no such thing, and in fact, I am grateful if you are willing to help my people."
She then watched her clan mbers transform. Tang Shaoyang offered them what kind of spirits they wanted to do a fusion with. That was unexpected, and she was honestly surprised at how attentive the man was even though they had just recently t.
'This is not too bad. He is willing to share his skills, exposing his skill and arsenal of his spirits to us. If this is the real him, then it might not be too bad to stay with The Reds even after our agreent is over.' Khaya thought of the future already.
All seven snow elves transford, so had an extre transformation, and so had a minor transformation. It depended on what kind of spirit they were fusion with.
The big surprise ca from the new skills they inherited from the spirit during the fusion. On top of the skill, the boost in stats was massive. That was what her Senior Administrator inford her after the fusion. The upgrade from the fusion was so big that her Senior Administrator and Admin Helper suggested she do the fusion as well.
It was until her turn that she had not made the decision whether she should accept the fusion or not. However, her captain towered over her and had his hand on his chin, muttering in a low voice.
"I haven't really seen how you fight, so I can't determine which spirit is good with you. Do you want a spirit with lightning elental power or a spirit with shadow elental power? Or do you prefer sothing else?" Her captain asked her.
"Ah… I…" She did not know why she was stuttering. Mainly because she had not made a decision yet, "Maybe lightning." She recovered and answered.
Then her captain placed his hand on her back. To her surprise, she did not feel as repulsive as she thought she would be. In her mind, she would be disgusted if a man touched her. But she felt nothing, in fact, it was weirdly natural.
'Focus, Khaya!'
Shaking her head, she focused on the change within her body. She sensed a warmth flow entering her body, touching the core of her energy then the warmth flow spread out to her whole body. Her clan mber told her that it was not as weird as it looked. She did not believe them at first, but she believed them now after experiencing it herself. As her clan mber described, it was weirdly comfortable and natural.
Then she noticed the change in her energy pool, expanding at an alarming rate. At the sa ti, she pulled out the window status and witnessed the change in her stats. She was calm until she sensed another presence inside her.
[Hello, Lady Khaya. My na is Maldros, and I am Dragonewt. That's for now, and we will get to know each other deeper once we reach the post zero that will help you to adjust to my strength and your newly boosted stats.]
Khaya opened her eyes in surprise and t with her captain's smile, "That's for now. We will do it again once we get to our post."
Then she sensed Commander Edson and Captain Baro outside the house, still twenty ters away from the house. She understood why the fusion was shorter. Edson and Baro would be shocked to see their transford figure.
