Commander Edson was angry, and more importantly, he was worried. He could chase after Tang Shaoyang, but he was worried about leaving the remaining administrators behind, especially when the void creatures horde was right about to attack.
He thought Tang Shaoyang would stay at the outer line of the void creature horde, not going through the horde. It wasn't until he saw the young administrator summon an army of skeletons and summoned more creatures, from the massive wyvern to dozens of calamities.
This reminded him what one of Tang Shaoyang's team mbers said, Tang Shaoyang alone was an army. Then he watched them running into the horde instead of attacking the horde from a distance.
Edson was shocked at first by how the young administrator fought, but then the shock gradually turned into a concern. He hoped that the young administrator would not go deeper to the Void Gate, but the tornado blades where Tang Shaoyang was, kept going into the core of the horde. In fact, the young administrator was going faster and faster.
"Call your captain back! Tell him not to get any closer to the gate!" He turned toward Ira and commanded. He did not control his aura and the others subconsciously took a few steps back from him.
Ira was startled but Commander Edson's aura locked on her, making her unable to move. Her heartbeat accelerated, thumping as she got nervous, 'What are you doing now, my captain?'
Despite the confusion, Ira sent a ssage to Tang Shaoyang through the team ssage. She told her captain to return under Commander Edson's order. She made sure that her captain knew that Commander Edson was not joking and that he should return imdiately.
It was then followed by the other team mbers who started to direct their weapons toward Commander Edson, getting ready to fight at any mont. Even though Edson did not attack Ira, his aura was considered hostile.
Only then Commander Edson realized his blunder and retracted her aura, letting out a sigh, "It's his first day, but your captain managed to impress and anger at the sa ti. I forgot to tell you guys that one of the eleven kings is guarding the Void Gate. I just don't expect that soone will be stupid enough to rush to the Void Gate on your first day! So make sure to tell your captain to get back or not approach the Void Gate, all of you!"

Knowing what guarded the Void Gate, everyone imdiately sent ssages to Tang Shaoyang. It would have been a disaster if their captain died on the first day. They would not be able to do anything in the mission and would be sent back for sure. It got their nerves when none of their ssages were read, let alone getting a reply from their captain.
"But why did the King guard the Void Gate? And why does no one try to kill him!?" Khaya asked.
"I don't know why the king guarded the void gate, but they started to guard the gate thirty years ago. When we try to bring numbers to kill him, he escapes to the void realm. It's impossible to kill the king because he could escape to the Void Realm anyti, and we can't risk destroying the Void Gate too. We don't know where it might appear if the gate gets destroyed because of our fight."
Commander Edson could not hide his frustration when he brought up the topic. Knowing your enemy was in front of him, he could not kill his enemy because his enemy could escape easily. That frustrated him, and he was about to lose a young administrator.
"Captain doesn't reply to our ssage…" Ira muttered as she confird with others that none of them received a reply from their captain.
"Then there's nothing we can do but pray for your captain. Though I doubt he will return." Edson shook his head. He could chase after Tang Shaoyang, but he would risk the other administrators' safety. Between one life and twenty people, he chose to protect the twenty people for sure.
Tang Shaoyang did not deliberately ignore the ssage, it was because he did not see the ssage. His head was bursting with notification of killing the void creatures. His spirits and The Skeleton Army killed the void creatures non-stop. There were at least ten notifications every second, and all he did was skip those notifications when they piled out. He might brush away all the ssages along with killing notifications. The figure did not think Tang Shaoyang and the other two were a threat for so reason. The man was amused by their presence.
"Another batch of newbies? Did you guys offend Edson or sothing? Didn't he tell you about ?"
From the way of this figure speaking, it was clear that Edson and this guy knew each other.
Tang Shaoyang had a feeling who this man might be, one of the Void Cult's mbers for sure, but he had a feeling that this person might be one of the Three Emperors and Eleven Kings, or maybe a high-ranked mber that was just below the king.
"No. Edson will not do sothing like sending people to the gate. So why are you here?" The white-haired man was interested, "Two with dragon bloodlines? You guys could be a great asset. I think I can get a few years of holiday if I give your corpses to him." The man grinned, licking his lips upon sensing the dragon aura from Avyn.
anwhile, Tang Shaoyang was communicating with Zara and Avyn about their connection. He could feel the strong aura from the man, but it was not that strong to deter him from fighting this man. The man underestimated them, he wanted to take it as an advantage even though he preferred direct combat. He wanted to see the man's reaction when the man was caught after underestimating him. That reaction might be priceless, and he wanted to see that happen.
Keeping a straight face, Tang Shaoyang pulled the bow without an arrow. He aid at the floating man, then he directed his Chaos Energy to his hand and ford an arrow right at the bow. He did not hesitate to channel Chaos Energy as much as possible into a single arrow.
"Buahahahaha… You are really a newbie, huh!? Do you think your arrow will work…" The smile and laughter stopped as the white-haired man noticed sothing peculiar from the arrow. He sensed sothing strong from the arrow, sothing stronger than the void energy.
