Commander Edson looked away from the slaughter, and he accidentally looked at another fight. It was Chief Kenver against a woman in Dragon Transformation. She saw the woman during their battle against the first army of the void creature. The gorgeous woman stayed next to Tang Shaoyang all the ti, and the woman was toying with Chief Kenver.
Chief Kenver had transford and used his Shadow Elental Body, but the woman overwheld Chief Kenver, soone on his level. The frost aura froze the shadow, that was right, it was the first ti he witnessed the shadow get frozen, and Chief Kenver failed to take advantage of his Shadow Elental Power.
Wherever they stepped, everything was frozen. He noticed that Chief Kenver tried to escape with his domain, but the domain was canceled by the absolute domain. No domain could be activated inside the absolute domain.
When the woman went after Chief Kenver, Edson thought the woman was trying to buy ti until Tang Shaoyang killed in. That was what he thought, but that was not the case. The woman was clearly stronger than Chief Kenver, and he could say that the woman was toying because she was slowly freezing Chief Kenver.
The longer they fought, Chief Kenver's movent beca even more stiff and rigid. As he thought the mont the woman got serious, she caught Chief Kenver. The frost aura froze Chief Kenver from the leg up to his waist.

"I don't want to fight!" Commander Edson raised his hands, indicating that he did not want to fight. "I…" The words stuck in his throat as he realized that dozens of eyes were on him. He realized that the other summons also had finished their fight and had their eyes on him. His guts told him that if he ca closer, these summons would attack him.
"Please spare Chief Kenver's life. You have killed the culprit, in. This is the best for us." He tried to persuade Tang Shaoyang as his voice was loud enough to reach the hole.
He could stop the war between the administrator and the Hurakan Kingdom as long as Chief Kenver did not die. The Chief of Imperial Investigator, the king's right hand. If he died here, the king would let it slide rather than just kill one of the Imperial Investigator's mbers.
When they attacked Chief Kenver, he did not worry about Chief Kenver. Chief Kenver might not win against Tang Shaoyang, but Chief Kenver would not get caught, let alone getting killed. It wasn't until he saw the fight, that was why he had to interfere.
The woman frowned, clearly displeased with his interference, but he would not back down even if he had to use his soldiers to fight Tang Shaoyang now. Facing the king's wrath, and facing Tang Shaoyang, he chose to fight Tang Shaoyang even if it ant he lost the frontier. Especially Chief Kenver was innocent in this stupid Sche by his subordinate. His frozen flesh and bones broke, but he maintained the upper half. The leader of the Imperial Investigator held down his pain, grunting.
Commander Edson imdiately approached Chief Kenver and offered the best healing potion and regeneration he had in his inventory.
Despite the cold temperature around them, beads of sweat ford on Chief Kenver's forehead, frowning as he held the pain. He breathed heavily as he finally faced death's door once more since a long ti ago. Ever since he held the position of Chief Imperial Investigator, he never experienced sothing like this, the feeling that he had been forgotten for hundreds of years. It returned when he fought the woman.
"She is The Kankara'Xeo's descendant! She is the primordial dragon in legend, the first dragon, Zonaras the Frost Dragon's ancestor." Chief Kenver muttered in disbelief as his eyes locked on the back of the woman who defeated him.
Currently, the spirits were gathering the dead bodies and throwing them into the hole.
"She froze everything, even my energy. This is crazy!" He kept muttering the sa words.
anwhile, this was the first ti Edson heard about Kankara'Xeo. He was aware of the existence of the primordial dragon, but he did not know them specifically. Even though he did not know anything about Kankara'Xeo, the thought of his energy freezing was daunting, and he was fully aware of how scary it was to have his energy frozen.
"What are they doing right now?" Chief Kenver noticed that the summons were gathering the soldiers' dead bodies. "Isn't it enough that they kill them!?" He could not help but raise his voice.
Commander Edson let out a sigh, "Do you think they will tell if I ask them?" The answer was obvious. No matter what he said, Tang Shaoyang would not cooperate with him anymore.
"We let the administrator kill the soldiers, why do we care about their bodies anyway?" The second Imperial Investigator ca down. When Chief Kenver tried to protect in, he backed up. The mont he saw all the summons, he knew that they could not win the fight unless the Hurakan Legion fought with them. However, he agreed with Commander Edson not to fight as well. Their enemy was not the administrator, but the Void Cult.
"Where were you when we needed you, Ben!" Chief Kenver questioned his second subordinate.
Ben let out a sigh. "Do you think it will change anything if I help you, Chief?"
"And if I am in Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang's place, I will do the sa too. My subordinate died for no reason, his subordinate died in the hand of his ally, supposed to be an ally, not in the battle against the Void Cult. In fact, his subordinate died for a silly reason, for a misplaced hatred. The fact that he spared your life is good enough. Do you want to co over there and tell them to spare those dead bodies?"
Commander Edson let out another sigh. "I regretted calling the Imperial Investigator. I want to clean up my legion, so Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang can put more trust in us, but your people make it worse. Now we potentially will fight the second army of the void creature without our ace card. On top of that, my soldiers' morale would be low after this."
"The fault is on the Imperial Investigator. We should not let in follow us. We know in has a deep hatred for The Corrupted Immortal Emperor, the forr Executive Administrator. His wife, sons, and daughters died at the hands of the forr Executive Immortal Emperor. Because of that, he hated the Void Cult, but he also hated the administrator for what happened." Ben spilled why in did such an extre thing.
Knowing that Tang Shaoyang was potentially a candidate for the next Executive Administrator from Commander Edson. in sched sothing extre, provoking Tang Shaoyang to kill him by killing one of the Reds' team mbers. in wanted an all-out war between the administrator and the Hurakan Kingdom. Ben could read the sche, but thankfully Senior Administrator Tang Shaoyang managed to control his emotions by not killing Chief Kenver.

in had returned to his human form and more bodies piling on top of in. After a quick calculation, there were about three hundred bodies, and all of them were God Rank. Edson said that Castor could not be resurrected in a normal way, but he had another way to resurrect Castor.
He would summon the spirit first, then he could resurrect Castor from the spirit. The hardest part was to calculate the number of sacrifices. He needed the right number of sacrifices if he wanted to summon Castor's spirit.
"301 one God Rank bodies… is it enough or it's too much?"
Castor was considered on the weaker side of the God Rank even after turning into a calamity. And when soone turned into a spirit, they beca weaker. Three hundred and one God Rank dead bodies might be too much to summon Castor.
"I would say he is not even at the level of Ascendant Spirit, let alone Mythical Spirit. Maybe around Grade SS Spirit or Grade SSS Spirit." Avyn voiced her thoughts.
"Three hundred God Ranks might be too much to summon that fool. How about we try one hundred sacrifices first, then try the two hundred of one hundred bodies are not enough." Tang Shaoyang followed Vandir's advice and separated one hundred God Rank dead bodies aside. The sacrifice quality between the Unique Rank Calamity or the high-ranking void creatures was different in value to the God Rank. The God Rank was more valuable as a sacrifice based on his experience.
He set aside one hundred God Ranks, and he threw ten Calamity corpses that he saved up for spirit advancent. He hoped the ten calamity corpses would increase the odds of summoning Castor's spirit.
The reason he spared Chief Kenver was because of this. He needed to focus on the summoning. Directing his hand toward the hundred and ten corpses, he activated Spirit Summoning.
