Armipotent Chapter 1881: The First Floor Boss

The Village Chief's na was Tamati, and he confessed why he let him wait instead of eting him directly. He tried to provoke him to attack him, so he could show off his power to Tang Shaoyang. He hoped Tang Shaoyang would inform his faction to recruit him and the villagers. They wanted to get out of the tower and get a second chance.

Tamati also shared the reason why he was inside the Dinsional Tower. His Ancestor lost in a battle and their world was taken over. In spite, his Ancestors would rather get jailed inside the tower than live in the sa world with their enemy or even listen to their orders and rules.

He was trying to tell Tang Shaoyang that his people were not the problematic people, the ones who took advantage of the System's loopholes. While he did not know Tang Shaoyang's position in the faction, Tamati did not lose hope and tried to persuade Tang Shaoyang as they headed to the boss floor's location. He occasionally slipped so persuasions as he explained where the boss was.

"We are close to the gate, Sir," Tamati reminded Tang Shaoyang at the sight of a massive gate, "I hope you can consider and my people, Sir. I dare to guarantee that we are good people!" He added at the end which was responded with a silence.

Tang Shaoyang had not given the man a hope or a rejection as he simply ignored it. His eyes locked on the gate, the sa gate that he encountered in the previous dinsional tower.

Tamati slowed down his pace, following closely from behind, knowing his position that he was not an equal to walk side by side with the man he did not know the na of. He was quite disappointed mixed with regret. He might have a chance if he did not try his stupid sche.

"I will think about it. Just make sure you survive against the other factions," Tang Shaoyang waved his hand at Tamati, "You can leave now."

Tamati opened his mouth, wanting to ask the faction's na or the man's na. He shook his head and let out a sigh. This was the best possible result after their initial interaction. There was still a chance for him to get out of the tower through this man's faction. He might blow his chance away if he kept pestering the man.

Knowing his limit, Tamati stepped back and left the man alone. He thought about what the man said, telling him to survive against the other factions. That ant he still had a chance.

'It ans the other factions might arrive at my doorstep anyti. I have to be prepared for that.' He left the area with that thought in mind.

Tang Shaoyang approached the gate and checked the surroundings. Tamati seed to have a safe route to reach here because they did not encounter a single monster. He saw monsters, but Tamati avoided them skilfully.

He did not think that much because he also did not want to fight the monsters. Most of them were Primordial Rank and Legend Rank. It was lucky if they t a Demi-God Rank monster. They were not even worth that much as a sacrifice because his sacrifice's value scaled up along with his rank. That was the main reason he did not gather the Legend Rank's bodies and lower-ranked.

The boss floor was right before him, and he could advance to the second floor soon. He recalled his previous experience. If he was not wrong, once he defeated the boss floor, the people from his faction could climb to the second floor with him as well. He was afraid that if he beat the boss floor, his people would lose the right to fight the boss floor. Fighting the boss floor was more important to them than him as this might be their chance to fight a strong Demi-God Rank or even a weaker God Rank.

Tang Shaoyang figured out the boss floor must be at the strong Demi-God Rank or weak God Rank because of the limitation of five God Ranks in the tower. He had to agree that the Ancient Dinsional Tower was just another training ground for the big factions to train their new recruits. A place with a lot of monsters and natives to fight and gain levels.

"But I do recall Lu An ntioning that he fought a floor boss as well…"

He cruised through the last dinsional tower without exploring because he was trying to level up as quickly as possible before the war against the Divine Church. After everything was over, Lu An and the others continued their climb, and they shared about their fight against each floor boss.

Tang Shaoyang was unsure about it, and he was afraid that he might be taking their chance of fighting the boss floor. He sent ssages to his wives, Lu An, Alton, Moonsong, Wei Xi, and the others to confirm it. If they could not fight the boss floor because he beat it, he would rather stay and wait for them to climb up if that was the case.

It did not take long for them to respond and his inbox was soon flooded with the replies. He was relieved after reading their ssage. Once he defeated the boss floor, it gave the people in his faction an option. They could climb up and follow him, but they would lose the chance to fight the boss floor, or they could fight the boss floor to climb on their own. The choice was in their hands.

After reading around twelve replies, he pushed away his inbox. That was enough for confirmation. He looked up at the stone gate that was just a ter away from him. He placed his palm on the gate and pushed the gate open.

Beyond the gate was a pitch darkness like a void, and he stepped into the void with no hesitation. It gave a similar sensation of a teleportation which he did not like even until now. He never encountered an error in teleportation, but he still did not really like it.

The sight returned to his eyes. He stood on the open field, nothing but the soil around him. The Chaos Eyes imdiately beca active, and his Absolute Sense did not pick up anything dangerous coming for him. Through his Chaos Eyes, he saw the borderless area with no end, and he picked up sothing, a tree, a single tree that stood out of place.

There was a single log below the tree, and a figure sat atop of the log. In that sa ti, the figure also sensed him. The figure stood up and ca out from the tree canopy, looking toward his direction.

Tang Shaoyang did not need to use Detection to find out the figure was a demon.
