Ouyang Biya drifted in the darkness. She could not tell the passage of ti, but her desire to live for her vengeance was still burning. She knew death was coming for her, but she could not accept the death itself, not until she fulfilled her vengeance.

Rage and regret overwheld her the mont before her death. Her strong desire to live brought her nothing; she could not stop her death. Her desire only brought her to this place.

’This place? Where am I? Is this the afterlife?’

Overwheld by her emotions, she did not know how she ended up here. This place was darkness, pure darkness, and she did not have a physical body to move around in either. It was like only her thoughts existed here. She could not feel her body, her arms, or her legs, and lost the remaining of her senses but her thoughts.

’Shouldn’t I be dead? So this is an afterlife, huh?’

’I don’t know if an afterlife exists, and this is certainly not heaven. Is this hell?’

A lot of questions popped into her head. She tried to speak, but all the questions remained as her thoughts. It was depressing and unfair that she was put in hell when she had not finished her revenge. She did not mind getting placed in hell as long as she finished her vengeance.

’Huh? Is it ti for to receive my deserved punishnt?’

She felt sothing was tugging her, then pulling her. Even though she did not have a physical body, she could feel that sothing was trying to pull her. That was a super weird sensation.

Ouyang Biya tried to resist. Getting tortured was the last thing she wanted after realizing she would be in this depressing place. However, resistance was futile, or to be more exact, she was totally powerless. She could not even resist the force that pulled her.

It was like teleportation; she was moved sowhere. This sowhere was giving a different sensation. She could feel the body; she had a body, but the body was still hard to move at first. Her vision was still dark, but she could feel it, her body. She received her body back for so reason, and maybe it was truly ti for her punishnt.

It wasn’t until her vision returned that she imdiately opened her eyes. The first thing that ca into her sight was the familiar red blood ash around her. Her eyes widened in surprise for a mont because it felt like she had co back alive, but she knew she was dead. There was no way she would survive after her heart was pierced.

However, she could not really explain the situation she was in. She looked at her own hand, her flawless, milky white skin. Then she realized that she was wearing the sa robe right before her death. She hoped it would be her beautiful red dress that she always wore in the Heaven Founder’s quarter.

The ash settled down, and she was startled deep inside because she had returned to the place where she had died. Then there was this weird sensation, a foreign connected feeling toward sothing or soone. She snapped toward that direction and found a black-haired man with crimson eyes looking at her.

Even though it was different, she imdiately recognized this person. He was her target, the Thousand Vows Pavilion’s successor, the Grandmaster Codex holder, Tang Shaoyang from the Tang Clan. She felt a connection to this man for so reason, and the connection told her that she was here because of this man, but why?

She was confused about the whole situation. In one mont, she thought she was in hell, and in the next mont, she returned to the place where she died, at least, she thought so. She was confused until information flooded into her head, explaining her situation.

Even though she kept her composure, she was overwheld by the situation, but she got the gist of it. She was dead for certain, and the current her was an entity called a spirit, a dead spirit. As for how she beca a spirit, it was because of her desire to live, her desire for vengeance.

When she was engulfed by rage and regret, it seed like she agreed to the System that she wanted to be a spirit for a second chance. It was literally a second chance because there was a chance for her to be resurrected. She forgot that agreent because of the state she was in, or maybe her desire to live and avenge was the reason she got this chance.

"You truly summon her."

A familiar voice rang in her ears. It was the voice of the skeleton, the entity who killed her. It was then she saw her own body next to the skeleton, but weirdly enough, she was not angry at the skeleton. Maybe because of the second chance, or maybe because she was a dead spirit, a dead spirit with no emotion.

Ouyang Biya stood still, processing the new information in her head, and how the contract worked with her summoner. It was quite simple. First, she could reach an agreent to establish the contract, give and take. She beca his spirit and worked for her in exchange for sothing. Second, she could refuse to establish a contract with him, but he could force the contract by defeating her in a battle.

She could not be killed, and she was not allowed to kill the summoner either, or she would disappear forever if she violated the rule. It was unfair, but it made sense because this was her second chance to live again. However, it was not without a risk because the summoner could choose to sacrifice her to gain her attributes and skills.

She did not rember if she had the skills to be extracted, but she was not going to take her chance to use that to her advantage. As long as his summoner put a reasonable clause, even if it ant putting her at a disadvantage, even if it ant she had to submit to her killer. She did not care about all of that; she would take all the chances she had for her revenge. She would do everything to get her second chance, no matter how long it was.

Ouyang Biya imdiately took action as soon as she made up her mind. She approached Tang Shaoyang’s group, who had shown their human form. Even if she did not want to establish a contract with him, he could force her by beating her in a fight. She was beaten once, and she felt they did not have an issue beating her the second ti.

"I will do anything, no matter how long it is, as long as you promise a second chance to live. As long as you agree to resurrect after a certain ti, you can do anything to , even if it ans I will be your slave, sex slave, anything!"

As she said that, she pulled off her cat mask, revealing her stunning look.
