The sinister smile on Tsunayashiro Tokinada’s face vanished, and he stood there looking dazed. He stared blankly at the boy in front of him, his voice full of disbelief: "What did you say? Submit to you?"
"That’s right. Submit to ." Uchiha Madara looked at him calmly, his tone flat. "That’s the only path left for you."
"You’ve got to be kidding !" Tokinada exploded in anger, drawing his blade and charging straight at Madara.
For the sake of his ambition, he had killed his best friend, his wife, and even wiped out the entire Kanyashiro clan. And now so kid dared to barge in and tell him to submit?
Even if his hair turned green, Tokinada couldn’t let that slide!
But before he could take another step, Madara’s figure suddenly vanished.
What?!
Tokinada’s pupils shrank in shock, and he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest. His feet left the ground as he was sent flying. Mid-air, he coughed up a mouthful of blood before crashing to the ground.
"I’m not joking around with weaklings like you. I’m just stating facts," Madara said, looking down at him with clear contempt. "What you want doesn’t matter. You only have one answer—yes."
"You bastard, you forced into this!" Tokinada struggled to his feet, flipping his blade around. "Let all creation burn to ash—Ryujin Jakka!"
If a soul reaper had enough spiritual energy in life, then even after death their Zanpakuto wouldn’t revert to a basic form.
The blade Tokinada held—Yanra Kyoten—was a family heirloom passed down from the founder of the Kanyashiro clan. Its ability was to copy any Zanpakuto it had seen, and even stack multiple abilities at once.
But using its power ca at the cost of the user’s soul—that is, their lifespan. That’s why none of the past clan heads had ever used it.
Except for Tokinada.
Driven by ambition and the thrill of power, he never cared about shaving off a few years of life.

Flas burst high into the air.
And it was visible to the naked eye.
The tiles of the pavilion, the floor underfoot, and even the nearby stone pillars started to break down into spirit particles and vanish. The heat in the air was so thick it felt solid, rippling layer by layer.
"What now, kid? Cat got your tongue?" Tokinada grinned wide, locking eyes with the seemingly stunned Madara. "Go ahead and kneel. I might still—"
After a short pause, Madara said quietly, "So weak."
"...What did you say?" Tokinada froze, face full of disbelief.
"You called it Ryujin Jakka, right? The strongest fire-type Zanpakuto?" Madara’s voice was cold and emotionless. "But in your hands, it’s not even as good as a campfire stick. I’m honestly amazed at how weak you are."
Yanra Kyoten’s power was definitely broken—but it was still limited by the user’s spiritual pressure.
Tokinada’s spiritual pressure was about average for a squad captain. Good enough against normal soul reapers, but clearly not enough against Anran’s version of Uchiha Madara—who was way beyond that level.
"You bastard!" Tokinada growled, gritting his teeth, and charged again with his "fire stick."
*Buzz.*
Suddenly, a crushing pressure slamd down on him like a mountain.
*Thud.*
The rage on Tokinada’s face disappeared in an instant. He dropped to his knees, eyes wide in fear. "Th-This pressure...!"
"I already told you," Madara said, his red eyes glowing, the black tomoe in them slowly spinning. "Your only answer is yes."
As Tokinada t his gaze for just a second, his fear lted into calm. His expression beca respectful, and he slowly nodded. "Yes... my lord..."
Seeing that, the girl who was about to jump in to save him—Aoura Dōha—suddenly dropped flat to the ground and pretended to be dead.
