Ard helicopters filled with missiles circled in the sky, while below them, a thick, rolling, surging MurasakiRed mist spread. Skeletons, all dark Red, holding various weapons, erged from the mist and charged forward.
Boom.
A cannon roared.
A burst of fire exploded in the center of the skeleton horde. The powerful blast crushed several skeletons, turning them into dark Red dust.
Those were shells fired by the Arican military's tanks.
Having received orders, they had ford a wall of steel to firmly block all the street entrances in the area.
But was this really useful?
Sitting in the helicopter, Nick Fury deeply doubted what he was seeing. Maybe blocking the roads like this could suppress the skeletons for a short ti, but without eliminating the source, it would be hard to hold out.

"Good. This will be the first mission our Avengers will face."

They looked over and saw several rhino and elephant-like skeletons using their brute strength to overturn tanks and armored vehicles. The steel wall had been torn open.
