The second ti.

This was the second ti.

Delia’s eyes widened as she realized she and Caius were looking at each other’s lips for a second ti. Her eyes were returning to their normal size and slowly becoming half-lidded when Caius turned her around slowly so she was facing him and he could even better wrap his arm around her waist, resting right at the small of her back.

Delia had her arms loosely at her side and her eye-widening mont of realization didn’t last long as she was soon grabbing the sides of Caius’s uniform and using it to pull herself toward him.

Caius smiled lightly against their kiss before he used his lips to pull Delia’s apart so he could snake his tongue into her mouth slowly. Delia took in a deep breath at that but her tongue stirred in reaction inside her mouth, quickly entangled with Caius’s.

The lightning she had produced still sparked around her. In fact, it increased in its intensity. An electric blue spell circle appeared above their heads now, soon becoming dotted with grey Arcane symbols that conjured up a dark cloud that crackled with electricity before a few drops of rain began to fall.

"Mmmph!" Delia let out in a particularly intense reaction when Caius pulled her with his arm so she was pressed even harder against his body.

Her breasts were cushioned hard against his chest, causing a thrill to travel all over her body with an intensity she hadn’t even known was possible.

Then again, she had never known it was possible to enjoy getting kissed this much. And oh, how much she enjoyed it.

She raised one of her hands from Caius’s side and raised it to the back of his neck, pulling him even more into their kiss.

Caius let his hand drop a few inches so they were on the high rise of her ass. He didn’t squeeze. He didn’t knead. He didn’t fondle. He just let his hand rest there, enjoying the warmth of her right through the Leggings and short skirt she had on as his tongue continued to explore the inside of her mouth.

At so point, they separated.

Delia instigated the separation and blinked a few tis after it happened like she was hoping that would shake off the cloudiness that had sward her head and made thinking a forgone act.

She also took a lot of breaths. Getting kissed had caused her to catch her breath and the longer it went on, the more dizzy she was starting to feel and she... didn’t want that.

She looked into Caius’s face— That annoying... beautiful purple eyes of his that drew her in. The hand she still had grabbing hold of his uniform slipped past the jacket to touch the shirt underneath in an attempt to get a more direct contact with his skin.

Delia’s eyes fell on Caius’s perfect lips. The way they were pulled up at the corner in a smirk that should have looked cocky and annoying to her but ended up looking so... charming.

’This is the mont, isn’t it?’ Delia asked herself in her head, ’This is the mont I turn tail and run. Like I did back then.’

That seed rational to her.

To run from the strange way Caius’s presence was making her feel. To run away and not deal with the emotions she really didn’t want to feel. So... why were her legs not doing the rational thing?

Why did they remain here solidly standing their ground?

Neither of the two cared that the dark cloud above their heads—courtesy of Delia’s Storm Magic—was pelting them with drops of rain. They just stared into each other’s eyes.

Caius looked patient.

Delia looked conflicted.

And then she was pressing her lips to Caius’s again to pick up where they had left off. Only this ti with more intensity. More intensity from her.

*Kraka-bang!*

The classroom door was closed and its noise-cancellation likely kept all sounds contained within which was fortunate because the sound of the thunderclap that just ripped through the dark cloud above was far too loud not to have drawn attention otherwise.

Caius would have even been shocked if Delia hadn’t had his entire attention at the mont.

Delia of course was more at ease than should have been possible when hearing what was such a threatening sound.

And then ca the downpour of rain.

No longer were they just droplets.

Now the rain fell in an almost torrential storm that had both Caius and Delia drenched in seconds. It did very interesting things to the way their bodies touched.

Delia’s nipples poked tight through the bra encasing them and, of course, poked through the material of her uniform shirt that now appeared almost see-through.

When they separated now, the two stared at each other through curtains of rain and opened their mouths to gasp not just at the feeling of getting drenched by the downpour but also due to an interesting way the existence of rain affected the mont.

Caius likened this mont to a common trope in romantic movies where the hero and heroine confess their love to one another under the rain. Usually following so kind of falling out.

Of course, that was not entirely what was happening here.

He and Delia hadn’t really had a falling out. In fact, despite all the spontaneous attacks that Delia had tossed at him following their kiss two weeks ago, the two had actually gotten along quite well. Or at least as well as two people, one of whom was not yet willing to co to terms with how they feel, can possibly get along.

They also weren’t confessing their love to each other. That was far too early. Although, getting Delia to acknowledge she had enjoyed and still enjoyed kissing him through her actions was probably just as impactful.

"I’m- I’m sorry," Delia said then glancing once at the dark cloud above them, "Apparently, sotis, when I get excited, it rains."

Caius knew why she said ’apparently’. It was because this had never happened to her before. Throughout the entirety of [To Kill A Demon Lord...], this also never happened. Whether while she was at Lochxen or after she had graduated. This was all new.

He was going to say sothing cute about that. Sothing sweet and romantic but his brain was drawing blanks. There just didn’t seem to be a sentintal thing he could think of to say in that mont.

So he laughed...

"You’re ’sorry’?" He asked and made a face in jest, "My God, we kiss twice and you’ve already gone soft."

Delia’s bronze cheeks went red but she rolled her eyes with so of her usual high-strung nature.

"Shut up," she said.

Caius chuckled and shook his head.

"You got us a little wet and you’re already apologizing? How in hell are you going to bring yourself to ’beat up’?" He asked.

"Oh trust , it’s still coming," Delia said. She was still flushed but her competitive edge was back.

Caius snorted lightly.

"Doubt it," he said, "Also, you admitted that I excite you. I’m not sure I’ll ever look at you the sa anymore."

"What does your exciting have to do with inevitably kicking your ass or how you see ?" Delia asked, her beautiful brows furrowed in confusion.

Caius raised a brow.

"It has everything to do with it. There used to be this intimidating factor to you. Now it’s all gone ’cause it’s so clear now that you’re just a softy."

"A softy?" Delia asked.

Yeah," Caius said with a shrug.

"A softy?" Delia repeated but this ti, before Caius could answer, her grip on his body changed.

It beca more possessive. Like that of soone trying to take charge.

She placed one of her legs between Caius’s and leaned hard against one of his knees to make his stance shaky. At the sa ti, she wrapped her other leg around the back of his knee and used it to sweep him off his feet. A task made easier by her weakening his stance already.

It all happened in the space of a second.

"Oh!" Caius called out and fell.

*SPLASH!*

Disturbing the large puddle of water that was now all over the ground, Caius’s back hit the floor. And in the split second before he landed, Delia had changed the position of her legs around his body and now straddled him.

"How about now?" She asked with a confident smirk, "Still a softy?"

Caius laughed and remained on the ground.

"Alright, alright," he said in between laughs and under the insistent downpour of rain,

"Maybe I should reevaluate."

"Yes. Yes, you do that," Delia said with both her hands now on his chest and moving up toward his head.

Caius rose off the ground then, his purple eyes gripping Delia’s grey ones and sucking her into his gaze she always tried not to look too hard into it so as not to get lost in it. Only this ti, she didn’t look away.

When one of Caius’s hands touched the small of her back while his other hand was stretched behind him to help him keep sitting up, Delia just kept moving her hands up until her fingers interlocked behind Caius’s head.

When Caius leaned closer—with the rain still falling on them from above—Delia did as well so that they connected their lips in a mont of mutual interest that added sothing to the already incredible intimacy of the mont.
