Alexia Von Helsing cast her eyes all about her Uncle's Estate. She had never been here before and compared to the Duchy Palace her father resided in back at the Von Helsing Duchy, she couldn't help but think of this as holy.
With a snap of her wrist, she closed the door and finally dropped her eyes to view the welcoming party.
Caius watched as she turned that mischievous/deadly smile on him as she began to walk over. Every step taken with grace and discipline.
"Cousin," she called when she was about two feet away.
"Alexia," Caius greeted and held out a hand.
"Oh please," Alexia said with a grin and gently slapped his hand aside.
"Is that how you greet family?" she asked and rolled her eyes before pulling him closer to wrap her arms around him.
The hug was warm and she slled great. With the extra inches she had with her boots, she and Caius were practically the sa height which caused her ample breasts to press against his chest. And then they rubbed against him when she nuzzled herself against him.
Alexia pulled back and then planted kisses on Caius's cheeks before she regarded him and truly took in his face.
"My, my, how you've grown," she said, "Last I saw you, you were five. A cute baby, sure, but nothing like the handso young man before ."
"Thanks," Caius said, "And last I saw you… Eh, I don't know, I was five and I really didn't care."
Alexia laughed.
"Good one," she said and then stepped back a bit to turn this way and that, giving Caius a better view of her figure. He caught a glance of the side profile of what looked like a perfect round ass but the view was gone as quickly as it ca.
"But now that you do care, hopefully, how do I look?" Alexia asked.
"Great," Caius answered honestly.
"Why, thank you," Alexia chuckled.
"Why did your entourage leave?" Caius asked as he turned to walk into the Estate and start the mandatory tour.
"I asked them to," Alexia answered as she followed by his side.
"Shouldn't they be here to protect you?" Caius asked.
"If I'm not safe with my Uncle's Hellsingers, could I possibly be safe anywhere with anyone else?" Alexia asked and then her tone beca a bit more serious,
"Speaking of which, where's my dear Uncle?"
"'Dear Uncle'?" Caius repeated with a chuckle, "Must be over a decade since you last saw him."
"We've kept in touch. He's my hero, you know," Alexia swooned.
"You don't say," Caius said. It was the first ti he was hearing about there being any prior communications between his father and Alexia prior to when she must have inford him she was going to be making this visit.
More and more, he had the gut feeling that Alexia was here because of him. And as much as that might sound narcissistic, he hadn't been able to shake the feeling.
"What makes my father your hero?" Caius asked.
"Are you kidding ? A life dedicated to monster hunting and ridding the world of vermin Vampiric filth? What's not to idolize?"
Caius's brows furrowed a bit at Alexia's choice of words. Again, the re fact that soone who so clearly hated what he was, had been allowed a visit to the Estate only served to validate his suspicions.
Alexia continued.
"Compared to that, my father has been lost in bureaucratic bullshit. And worse, he's trying to rope into it. Can't scout a monster den without returning to so lecture on how I should leave it to the Hellsingers and focus on learning how to 'lead'. Nonsense."
Caius suspected he had hit a sensitive topic. Courtesy demands that he change topics now but people tend to slip up when they're agitated. If there really was a reason Alexia was here, this was the best way to find out.
So he prodded.
"So you want to be right in the action," he said.
"Where else is there to be?" Alexia asked rhetorically with a chuckle,
"And Uncle Lucian understands that. It's how he's lived all his life. He left the Duchy to leave all that behind and focus on what really matters. Sending those monsters to the hell they crawled out of."
"So when you say you kept in touch…" Caius said.
"I an, I've been asking—No, begging that he allow to visit. I an, I could co to the Capital whenever I want but I don't just want to be in the Capital, I want to be here. I want to learn from him."
"Well, learning will have to wait," Caius said, "He left the Estate this morning for an expedition."
"Oh, that's alright," Alexia said with a shrug, "He let co here. I'm fine with waiting."
'Of course," Caius said, "But you said you've asked constantly to visit?"
"I have."
"And he always said no."
"Yeah."
"And yet, this ti, he said yes."
"Yep."
"Sothing has to have caused the sudden acceptance," Caius said, and waited when Alexia went silent.
And then she smiled slyly.
"Well, there was one catch," she said.
'And there it is,' Caius said in his head.
"What's the catch?" He said out loud.
"Just sothing I have to do," Alexia said.
"What is it?" Caius prodded.
Alexia was silent for a while and then she let out a sigh.
"I'm just supposed to train you," she said with a shrug.
Caius stopped walking.
"What?" He said in disbelief.
Alexia had stopped walking as well.
"You know, bring you up to speed. Teach you the Von Helsing ways."
"I don't need training," Caius said.
"Uncle seems you think you do. He told he hasn't been able to teach you as he would like. Sothing to do with the generation gap. I can bridge that gap. And fix what he couldn't.
It's a very big honor. One I do not take lightly."
"And what will this training entail?" Caius asked, "Spars? Exercises? Cause I assure you, I get enough of that from him as it is."
Alexia nodded.
"Uncle told you've started the Von Helsing Regin. He told you're pretty good at it too. I could help you go further with it but that's not why I'm here."
"Then what—?" Caius started and paused. Suddenly he understood and his eyes narrowed as he said,
"Monster Hunting."
"Exactly," Alexia bead with an almost crazed look in her eyes,
"It's the Von Helsing way and apparently, you've not had much practice with it. Not to worry though, for I am here.
My trip here isn't a vacation. I am here to devote myself and my ti to teaching you how to snuff out the decadent life of those horrible creatures that infest our world.
'Fucking Hell!' Caius exclaid in his head.
That was why Alexia was here. His father felt he was being too passive and rather than tell it to him in a more direct way, he decided to bring in his hot—rely observatory assessnt, of course—cousin to get him out of the Estate and kill monsters.
This was an insane idea and such a stupid one, as far as Caius was concerned, because he was actually one of the Monsters Alexia wouldn't think twice about gutting like a fish.
"Alexia, did you not consider that my father is using you?" Caius said, "You've asked to visit many tis and got turned down and then he accepts only to stick you with a chore."
"Oh I'm aware," Alexia said easily, "But, you're not a chore, Caius. You're a challenge. And one I do not intend to fail."
Caius's trepidation only got worse. His expression was dark.
"You look like you've just been sentenced to die," Alexia said and laughed a little before patting him on the cheek,
"Co on, lighten up. Trust when I say this, we're going to have so much fun."
'I can't help but doubt that,' Caius thought,
'I can't help but doubt it very much.'
