While Choi Jeho was struggling to beco the best clothes hanger, Lee Cheonghyeon also made painstaking efforts.

Park Joowoo would diligently search for jewelry pictorial references and present them, Lee Cheonghyeon would absorb them perfectly, and then Kang Kiyeon would conduct cara tests, engaging in intense practice so that he could show his most brilliant self no matter the setting or product.

“Cheonghyeon, your fingertips look a bit forced…”

“Really? What’s the problem? My index finger? Middle finger?”

“Try to relax your hand a bit. Right now, it looks less like a hand wearing a ring and more like a hand wearing a leather glove.”

Whenever I ca to the practice room, the kids were at it like that. It did reduce my workload since I didn’t need to look for references myself.

Lee Cheonghyeon, who had been striking various poses, asked in a ventriloquist’s voice.

“Doesn’t Jeho hyung need to do a cara test too? He’s shooting a pictorial too.”

“Have you ever seen him look awkward in front of a cara?”

“Ah.”

If we limited the scope to ‘in front of the cara’, Choi Jeho’s expressiveness ridiculously surpassed the industry standard. To be precise, his capabilities shine when he was ‘being watched by soone’.

I once peeked at the mbers’ resus, specifically the proficiency section, because I felt an internal check was needed before the concert, and at that ti, Choi Jeho’s self-PR score was 19. It ant that his talent for revealing himself was almost perfect.

What good would it do for to say anything to a guy like that? It would just make look nosy. So whenever Choi Jeho tried to act high and mighty, I just stood next to him and clapped, telling him he was doing great. Ah, and I also left a long rant on Dotion. The dedicated team agreed to discuss things closely with the advertiser.

Everything was going smoothly, but then Lee Cheonghyeon suddenly deflated and murmured:

“But I’m a little unconfident.”

“About what?”

“Will I be able to pull off the accessories that so many designers have worked together to create?”

What a useless worry. It seed my praises had been lacking lately.

“How long has the brand you’re advertising for been in business?”

“About 100 years, I think? I think that’s what was written on the official hopage.”

“That’s not very long. Your face is a masterpiece created by all the ancestors since Dangun combined. Your face contains the 5,000-year history of the Republic of Korea.”

At my words, Kang Kiyeon had a look of disbelief on his face.

“But the side with the longer history doesn’t always win.”

“Nevertheless, the word ‘classic beauty’ doesn’t exist for nothing.”

“Would anyone expect an old-fashioned elegance from a greenhorn like ?”

“Let’s just change the word slightly. Your face has a luxuriousness to it. That’s a value that any jewelry is bound to pursue. It’s also an aura that not just anyone can have.”

“So you’re saying I look luxurious, right?!”

“Of course. So go on and try that hand pose again.”

His confidence restored, Lee Cheonghyeon excitedly ran over to Park Joowoo and Kang Kiyeon. And then he showed off so hand movents that would put a nail art model to sha.

Won Chaehee, who was eating alone for the first ti in a while, saw a ‘See more posts’ notification on her social dia. Since she was only following a few accounts besides Spark’s official one on her fansite account, it was rare for new posts to pile up like this.

‘Why did they share so much?’

Each post had a small gray caption saying that @spArk_official had reposted it.

Just as she was scrolling quickly to see the first post she had missed…

‘What is this?’

…an incredible set of abs entered Won Chaehee’s sight. She almost threw her chopsticks down and hurriedly dimd her phone’s brightness. Even though she knew she had a privacy screen protector on, and she hadn’t even intentionally clicked on a sensitive post in a public place, Won Chaehee’s heart pounded like a guilty person’s.

Each post was filled with new photos of Choi Jeho. His skin tone was darker than usual, perhaps because he had tanned for the pictorial. His defined abs were revealed between the white and gray combination of his track top.

‘Who wears such a provocative windbreaker in the fall…’

Even though the design of the outfit was ordinary, Won Chaehee couldn’t shake the thought that it was too provocative. Was it because NIDAS hadn’t given Choi Jeho an inner shirt? Or was it because Choi Jeho had bulked up? Her thoughts spiraled endlessly.

The cut where he slightly raised his arm to expose his serratus anterior finally made Won Chaehee down a whole cup of cold water. Earthly desires flooded her. Nevertheless, her hand, saving the photo, was fast and precise.

‘No, XX… making a kid with already thick lips do a lip-touching pose is XX too much… making a giant, indifferent, door-like man like Choi Jeho act with an hollow gaze is a deliberate attempt to make the viewer go X… isn’t it…’

An immature, yet more than anything, sincere voice from her heart filled Won Chaehee’s chest.

≫ @minam_hunter(semi-hiatus)

Jeho, I can’t see the tracksuit, only your abs, is this right?

└ Minam Hunter-nim, are you really on a semi-hiatus? You’re here almost at the sa ti as the official account.

└ Ha, if you log in one more ti this week, I swear I’m blowing up my account.

The reactions of others were not much different. Sitting in her cozy trash-can-like comfort zone, Won Chaehee discreetly wiped away tears.

‘Shorts with long socks is really XX over the top. The side slits on the training pants are seriously perverted. Is this really clothing ant for exercise?’

And yet, Won Chaehee calmly checked how many colors of the crew socks there were. It didn’t seem like a bad idea to send away her old, worn-out socks, which were about 50% opacity near the big toe, and replace them with NIDAS’s new, rather stylish ones.

‘Wasn’t there a big NIDAS store near my office?’

When she checked on the map app, there were three large stores. Whenever she had to commute on the hellish subway, working in a crowded area made her want to quit, but monts like this sparked a surprising loyalty to the company.

anwhile, online, so products were starting to show the ‘sold out’ sign. There were two main reasons for products selling out at a ti that wasn’t ideal for complete sell-outs.

First, they didn’t have enough stock. Second, the fan power was insane.

It was unlikely that a big brand like NIDAS wouldn’t have secured enough stock to distribute nationwide. So, the conclusion had to be the latter.

Won Chaehee selected one of the main products that Choi Jeho had modeled for, the one with the ‘sold out’ sign. The stylishly designed product detail page caught her eye.

‘Unisex design, no waistline, functional apparel with three pockets including an inner one… easy to wash, and a price that guarantees at least one poster with the purchase of a single set… poster can be chosen between A and B type regardless of the product color…’

To put it more simply, it was a product that didn’t feel like a ‘rip-off ad targeting fans.’

‘Hmm.’

Maybe she should buy a windbreaker.

Won Chaehee quickly did the math in her head. For a working fan, one easy-to-wear outer jacket and a few pairs of socks were not a burdenso expense.

An A3 poster wouldn’t even need a tube; she could slip it into her movie-poster binder instead.

And this idea must have co from Kim Iwol. Because the only one who would think about storage and practicality when everyone else was making large posters was the eldest hyung, who knew the fans’ hearts suspiciously well.

Won Chaehee finished reading all the new content before her lunch break was over and left the restaurant satisfied.

However, Won Chaehee did not end up buying socks on her way ho from work. Because clothing purchases ca with a free pair of socks (while supplies lasted, color selectable).

These bastards were not ripping people off. That alone raised NIDAS’s favorability by 1.

The improvent of a brand’s image within a fandom created a significant butterfly effect. Even if that image was just a little bit better.

This ripple effect was present in NIDAS’s new pictorial as well.

A practical, high-quality item from a sportswear brand known for its reliable products; a reasonable price with simple freebies instead of jacking up the cost by stuffing in useless extras; and posters given according to the purchase amount as long as you buy even just one newly released clothing item, not only the collaboration pieces.

Thanks to this, Won Chaehee had the experience of not having to curse while spending her own money. Others might say, ‘Couldn’t you just not make a purchase that makes you curse in the first place?’ but unfortunately, such things rarely happened in the life of a fan.

So Won Chaehee decided to cherish this experience. She tucked her worn-out taphorical spear neatly behind her back.

“The photos ca out great.”

“Right? A lot of my friends contacted , saying they saw Jeho hyung’s pictorial.”

Jeong Seongbin and I sat snugly together, looking at Choi Jeho on the NIDAS official hopage.

That’s Choi Jeho for you. The kid was a bit unruly, but he always got the job done.

“Wow, did Jeho hyung sell everything out?”

Lee Cheonghyeon, who had just returned from school, ca over without even putting down his backpack and asked. He rested his arms on our shoulders, placed his chin on them, and squeezed in between us to look at the monitor.

“This is amazing. I don’t think I could do it.”

“A jewelry comrcial is a different kind of deal. You were cast with the goal of making the brand more high-end. You just have to do your part well.”

Even with my explanation, Lee Cheonghyeon looked dissatisfied. He seed disappointed that his situation was different from Choi Jeho’s, who could show his results with a string of ‘sold out’ signs.

“Next ti, I’m definitely going to be a ho shopping model. And I’ll buy everything myself to set a sell-out record.”

“Isn’t that fraud?”

“It’s fraud if you don’t pay, and it’s bulk-buying if you do. I’m telling you in advance, I have no intention of letting the word ‘bulk-buying’ appear next to Spark’s na, so drop that thought.”

At my words, Lee Cheonghyeon replied, ‘Right, bulk-buying is no good’, and walked away.

And not long after, Lee Cheonghyeon would advance from a simple promotional model to a muse for a luxury jewelry brand.
