The fans who had been with Spark since their debut shared a few common traits.
First, compared to other rookie boy group fandoms, they tended to be older.
Second, many of them were working professionals.
Third, they weren’t easily swayed by external scandals.
There was a specific reason for this. Most people who joined the Spark fandom had co after stanning other idols.
Cheating scandals, cozying up to sasaengs, skipping schedules, power trips… There were plenty of idols who drove fans away, and even more reasons for it.
People who felt betrayed by their biases often vowed never to set foot in the idol world again. However, those who still held onto the good mories of supporting an idol eventually returned to the entertainnt industry.
Wary of feeling that sa rage twice, they were cautious. Even when their hearts urged them to beco a fan, they hit the brakes and conducted a thorough audit. They checked if the idol’s speech was careless or if they had any underlying controversies. In the eyes of these people, Spark was a clean group with no disqualifying factors.
The perspective of those who had liked idols since elentary school also changed as they beca adults.
Good styling and charming speech beca secondary.
After being worn down by professional life, they just wanted their idol not to be the kind of person who power-tripped like a boss at work, or ditched responsibilities like an irresponsible teammate.
Having grown into mature adults, minor issues didn’t deal them much damage.
Getting hate in an award show vote was annoying, but it wasn’t enough to make their world crumble. There was no need to go through the hassle of sending faxes just because the agency was incompetent. They simply wouldn’t buy the rchandise. Their level of experience was that high.
Spark, which these veterans cautiously approached, did not disappoint. In the two years since their debut, Spark had never once said anything to their fans that caused disappointnt or drained their energy.
If you asked how that was possible, Sparklers would point to one person.
≫ I know people say Spark doesn’t have any mbers who don’t get along
but when the mbers talk about Iwol, you can really feel how much they rely on him, I love that
The kind and warm eldest brother of the group. The eldest son who acted like he’d give his liver and gallbladder to his dongsaengs and saw that as the purpose of his life. A role model who led by example, upright and immaculate, never out of line.
Having a capable, straightforward eldest hyung wasn’t just reassuring for the mbers, it reassured the fans too.
Just trust Iwol. For Sparklers, this phrase was never once an empty promise.
Kim Iwol had been through many incidents. He faced misunderstandings and suffered accidents. When fans learned he had a complex history, it broke their hearts, but they also felt relieved. At least their boy was innocent. He had done nothing wrong.
But when the storm was too big, that flimsy sense of reassurance stopped mattering.
≫At this point, I’m just grateful that Iwol isn’t thinking anything bad and is holding on
Not in a ‘wow, he hid it so well’ way
but because every single day must’ve been so hard
He should’ve had at least one place where he could feel at ease
That’s all I can think about now
Realizing that your idol, who you felt a kinship with because of how fiercely he lived, had actually been suffering this much, unable to tell anyone, and that he only forced himself to bring up painful mories because he could no longer hide them…
The sight of him feeling so incredibly sorry for that was a deep wound to the fans. It wasn’t a wound from pitying Kim Iwol. It was a sorrow felt because they cherished Kim Iwol as they would themselves.
Those who had turned from distant outsiders into Sparklers were still working in society and hadn’t forgotten their past stanning idols…
≫ Found why those troll channels were ripping Kim Iwol to shreds all this ti.
…They weren’t shaken by small issues, but they knew exactly how to respond most effectively when a major problem arose.
≫ Turns out all these b*stards belong to the sa company?
The professional savvy that Kim Iwol had displayed throughout his career.
That was a talent Sparklers also possessed in abundance.

[Exposing the Tube production company caught trying to manipulate public opinion beyond undercover advertising]
The Entertainnt Detective Squad (Studio D) – The root of the incident.
If you’ve ever stanned an idol, there’s no way you don’t know this hate channel. Famous for making news out of rumors or cutting videos to make people hate the target blindly
Usually they focused on 1st-tier idol videos for views (especially girl groups), and they sold provocative videos through paid mberships. But during IDC 1 and in recent tis, they have been uploading Spark’s Kim Iwol videos every day for over a month (This is the first channel that raised the suspicion that Iwol was doing drugs)
They’re money-grubbers, so they usually jump to another idol if views aren’t there, but they kept producing Iwol videos even when the views were lower than other content. At its peak, they uploaded several a day with provocative keywords.
World Beyond the Lens (My dia)
From here on, these are channels with high public recognition. You’ve probably seen them at least once while browsing Tube.
After crossing the line with a ‘social experint’ that made the news, they pivoted to heartwarming stories and viral ‘faith in humanity restored’ content, which blew up. They often post about people who leave large anonymous donations…

See this?
A charity called On-Sarang Social Welfare Foundation appears very frequently. I wondered if it was a famous foundation, so I searched it…
(Photo)
Over 90% of the photo sources in articles are from World Beyond the Lens.
Isn’t it strange? What’s so special about this foundation that people leave wads of cash there every year?
There is one peculiar thing.
When the Entertainnt Detective Squad, the channel that trashes everyone, uploaded a video titled ‘10 Facts You Didn’t Know About H-N-T’ when H-N-T was returning from a hiatus due to a DUI…
(Photo)
The video claid H-N-T had been doing secret good deeds, like consistently donating to a welfare foundation.
The video ended with a preachy lecture saying that everyone makes mistake so you shouldn’t judge a person by one error. The foundation H-N-T supposedly donated to? The photo shows it’s the ‘On-Sarang Social Welfare Foundation’.
Now, if you look at My dia’s job posting on a hiring site…
(Photo)
You can see it’s divided into a ‘Current Affairs Journal’ part and a ‘Social Issues’ part.
The only channel listed on My dia’s website is ‘World Beyond the Lens’ so why are they hiring for a ‘Current Affairs Journal’?

Bottom: Business info for My dia (producers of World Beyond the Lens).
The Representative’s na is the sa. The business address is the sa building, just different floors.
You might ask what splitting the company has to do with manipulating public opinion, but here is the important part.
On-Air Korea (OnKo)
A channel many people think is a digital newspaper because of the na.
They actually post refined information and maintain a neutral stance.
The Iwol incident appeared here for the first ti among idols.
They talk about how idol debuts have beco a ans to ‘launder’ one’s past and how the younger generation is rotting, but the only example ntioned is Iwol. In a 40-minute video, 30 minutes are spent on Iwol’s family history and the handwritten statent from his family about suing him. They even ntion the drug controversy, which wasn’t verified and didn’t even lead to a police investigation.
The reaction of people who viewed OnKo as a news channel? Terrible. This is the main reason the Iwol incident blew up so much.
OnKo didn’t disclose their production company or contact info separately, but the font channel logo position sources used here are identical to My dia’s videos.
If you adjust the opacity and overlap them, the logo, layout, and subtitle height are all in the exact sa positions. Even the color chips—if you input the color codes—the brightness and saturation are the sa; only the hue is different.
The only difference is the logo style…
(Photo)
Confird in a portfolio that it’s the work of one designer. They outsourced to the sa person.
It’s presud they separated it from their existing business (which focused on gossip channels) because they wanted a ‘major broadcaster’ aesthetic for the Tube world.
Even this OnKo channel produced a video two years ago…

About the On-Sarang Social Welfare Foundation winning a Social Welfare Grand Prize. (If you look at the videos listed above and below it, you can see the style is completely different.)
The Chairperson of the On-Sarang Social Welfare Foundation, which is so loved by all these ‘healing’ channels…

Is Kim Iwol’s biological mother.
And Representative Kim, the head of Studio D/My dia and the person frequently referred to as the ‘Secret Investigator’ in the early days of the Entertainnt Detective Squad?
(Photo)
Is the biological father.
The husband used all the production companies he runs to churn out videos to promote his wife’s foundation.
Plus, to bury Iwol, the father uploaded hate videos on his own channels to start the fire, then jumped on the public opinion.
During Iwol’s family press conference, the Entertainnt Detective Squad, OnCo, and Representative Kim’s company channels all attended. When the reporters were fild in the live video, the logos on the caras were all captured.
Since their daily job is digging into celebrities, they put the sa private eyes they always use on Jeho as well and handed the data to Myth.
The operators of the troll channels (Beyond the Lens, Entertainnt Detective Squad, OnCo) Chairperson of On-Sarang Foundation = Kim Iwol’s parents. They are human trash who even abandoned their daughter and abused their son After Kim Iwol got famous, they tried to manipulate public opinion to squeeze a settlent out of him and got caught.
The family is currently destroying their child’s social image and threatening him just to get a higher settlent fee. I’m writing this hoping people see how disgusting this is… Stop consuming those channels, and if anyone was donating to the On-Sarang Foundation, please change your donation target.
Since the list of channels present at the press conference is circulating, they’re deleting all the livestreams. Friends who can help, please archive the live streams.

In less than a day, the identities of the two individuals were revealed. It took less than five hours to uncover their past actions, embezzlent, and illegal activities.
≫ How to cut off monetization for Entertainnt Detective Squad, Beyond the Lens, and OnCo
Link Kim Iwol’s press conference video and the press release about suing for spreading false information, then report them for malicious group harassnt or violent content.
What Tube catches most strictly is content targeting children and cyberbullying.
Say that they manipulated public opinion by simultaneously uploading false information across multiple channels, causing actual damage.
Especially for OnKo, since their goal was to look mainstream, we need to display their past so they can’t even dream of laundering their image.
This isn’t just an Iwol problem. A foundation that’s supposed to be transparent being promoted like that is wrong, and channels that tear down celebrities over nothing need to disappear, too
We have to kick them out so they can’t make money with these kinds of tricks. That’s the only way to ensure this never happens again.
≫ For those asking, “They really did receive awards and donations—what’s the problem with making videos about that?”
The problem starts with the fact that On-Sarang Foundation has a suspiciously high amount of cash donations without even a receipt.
If you don’t even know how much donation money ca in, who knows how much was skimd off? And notice how the donation news always drops around the sa tis.
With money coming in like that, no one can track who spent how much where. There’s no paper trail.
In the first place, the reason On-Sarang Foundation was able to receive awards and local governnt subsidies was because it was reported in the dia several tis as a ‘good foundation’. Is it really okay that the husband was the one secretly providing that dia coverage?
Even if the donations were real and the promotion was just for ‘family success’, the fact that the Chairperson abandoned and abused her child is a disqualifying factor. . They even said she strangled him recently.
By the ti Kim Iwol finally woke up and checked the backlogged news, the financial pipelines his parents loved so dearly had all been cut off.
