"Why is the World Assembly being held in our Liberio internnt zone?" During a break in training, the Marleyan Warrior candidates gathered together to chat, and Udo, wearing glasses, voiced the doubt in his heart.

Beside him was Zofia, who had already recovered from her injuries and returned to the team. Zofia said indifferently, "Who knows? Maybe it's to give us Eldians a chance to show our faces in front of representatives from all over the world?"

Porco scratched his head. "Uh, I don't think it's that complicated, right? Maybe it's just because the Liberio internnt zone is big?"

Sitting next to the three of them was Gabi. Normally, whenever this kind of topic ca up, Gabi would be the most enthusiastic one to join in. Her mind was sharp, and she often managed to guess at least half correctly.

But now, Gabi was acting unusually. She sat there fiddling with her fingers, not saying a single word.

As Porco spoke, his gaze would occasionally drift toward Gabi. Ever since Zofia recovered and returned to the team, the resentnt Porco had toward Gabi had gradually faded. Sotis, children's thoughts really were more strange and unpredictable than adults'.

So now, Porco still felt a bit of concern for Gabi.

However, speaking of changes, Porco felt that Zofia, who had just returned from the hospital, was also a bit strange lately. In the past, Zofia was basically expressionless all day long, extrely cold in temperant. Aside from basic training, she hardly spoke at all.

But now, Zofia felt a bit off to Porco. Whenever the Warrior candidates talked about topics related to Marley, Zofia would casually interject a few comnts, and the content of her words was also a bit strange—almost like she was subtly mocking Marley.

However, Porco didn't think too much about it. He just assud that Zofia had just co back from the hospital and hadn't fully adjusted to the Warrior unit's training yet.

Just as they were chatting enthusiastically, Porco's older brother Colt walked over and called out Zofia's na.

"Zofia? Airi is calling for you. Co over for a mont."

As soon as she heard that Airi was calling her, Zofia imdiately stood up from the ground and quickly ran toward Colt. Not far behind him stood Airi, smiling brightly.

At the mont Zofia stood up, Gabi's body also trembled slightly, almost imperceptibly. Then, after Zofia got up, Gabi stood up as well and hurriedly said,

"I'm going to the bathroom."

"Hey, Gabi, wait—" Porco opened his mouth to stop her, but Gabi had already dashed off. "I was going to say, the bathroom isn't that way. It's behind us."

At the mont Airi and Zofia t, Gabi also quietly followed and hid behind them.

"Why did you suddenly co to see ?" Zofia's voice sounded very happy.

Airi smiled as well and gently rubbed Zofia's cheek.

"Can't I co see you if there's nothing going on? How's your recovery lately? Feeling better? The Warrior unit's training isn't putting too much strain on your body, is it?"

Zofia: "Don't worry, I'm fine. I'm perfectly healthy."

Airi: "That's good. Alright, little Zofia, I have so very important news to tell you. You must rember it well." Unlike her gentle tone just now, Airi's voice now clearly carried seriousness and gravity.

Realizing that this was no simple matter, Zofia's small face also beca serious.

Airi continued, "When the World Assembly is held, rember to stay as far away from the venue as possible. And your family—make sure they don't attend. You must protect yourselves.

If you really can't get away, then when the ti cos, you must find at the venue. Or if you see Serena, you can go to her as well. Do you understand?"

Zofia widened her eyes and asked sowhat excitedly,

"Is our Eldian Revolutionary Army going to take action? What are we going to do? Are we going to sabotage Marley's World Assembly?"

Airi rubbed Zofia's hair, which was very similar in color to her own, and said,

"Silly girl, you're still underestimating our Eldian Revolutionary Army. Our goal isn't just that. We're going to liberate all Eldian compatriots."

Hiding in the shadows, Gabi felt her heart pound wildly. Eldian Revolutionary Army? Marley World Assembly? Operation? Liberate Eldian compatriots? These highly impactful words made her feel dizzy for a mont. She almost regretted coming to eavesdrop. Wouldn't it have been better to remain an ignorant bystander?

...

Inside the spacious military vehicle, the broad and overweight Bagge sat comfortably in the back seat, crossing his legs, eating a drumstick and humming a tune. The vehicle was packed with many prepared gifts.

His family had spent so money pulling strings so that he could also show his face at this World Assembly, so Bagge had rushed nonstop to Marley's capital.

And during the previous war, Bagge didn't really have any friends he could talk to. Most of the ti, he was surrounded by parasites just like himself—except for that kid Loya.

Although their first eting ended with him being scamd badly by Loya, and he got tricked several more tis afterward, he had to admit that Loya's personality really suited his taste. Their cooperation in the later stages of the war could even be described as perfect.

So after arriving in Marley's capital, the first thing Bagge did was bring a pile of gifts to visit his "old friend" and "good friend" Loya.

Russell Manor was located in a very remote place, and so sections of the road were quite rough. Bagge's fat body was almost shaken apart from the bumps. After enduring a terrible hour-long journey, he finally arrived at Russell Manor.

The mont he got out of the car, he couldn't help but complain about the rough road.

"What the hell is the Transportation Bureau doing? This road is more uneven than the teeth in my butler's eighty-year-old mother's mouth. Damn it."

While grumbling, Bagge directed two subordinates to unload the gifts, and then he strode forward and pushed open the gates of Russell Manor.

"Loya, my little friend! I ca to see you! Hahahaha! Didn't expect that, huh? Hahaha… ha… ha... ha…"

Bagge's hearty laughter grew quieter and quieter, until it beca as faint as a mosquito's buzz.

In front of him, more than a dozen pairs of eyes were staring straight at him, each filled with chilling killing intent. Most importantly, the dozen or so people standing before him, dressed in strange clothing with small canisters on their backs, each held two gleaming blades that shimred with cold light.

The sharpness of those blades was beyond doubt. A drop of cold sweat slid from Bagge's forehead, down his cheek, to the corner of his mouth, and then slipped inside through his open lips.

"Th-that, uh, s-sorry, I… I got the wrong door. You guys have fun, I'll be going now, no need to see off…"

Bang!! The door slamd shut with a loud crash!

"Ahhh!!! Stop!!"
