The sounds of footsteps reverberated as two figures walked calmly through the grand halls of the Concordant Spire.

"What is on your mind?"

With neatly styled blue hair and an impeccable attire, Oberon Enigmalnk, fixed his sky blue eyes on a woman he had spent the past months with. Jenera.

Jenera stared at the distant air, seemingly in very deep thought. They had both just co out from an important eting with the Dominion Pillars.

Jenera and Oberon had been put in charge of establishing the new society, and they had done just that.

After nurous back and forth discussions with Atticus, he had eventually agreed on a new plan.

The core vision was simple: a unified nation ford from the surviving mbers of Eldoralth. Here, no race held superiority, and all citizens were protected under the sa laws.

Atticus was the sole ruler. His every word was law. However, he had made it clear, he had no intention of actively involving himself unless absolutely necessary.

He would let the paragons rule themselves, as long as they adhered to the core vision he had laid out.

And so, the Dominion Pillars were born.

They were the leaders of the new Eldoralth. The Seven Pillars of Civilization:

Justice and Law. Defense and War. Knowledge and Education. Infrastructure and Recovery. Culture and Harmony. Research and Evolution. Exploration and External Affairs

Each dominion was tasked with advancing the nation, pushing its people to surpass even the greatest heights Eldoralth had once known.

No single person led each dominion. Instead, a representative was selected to attend major etings, but the real decisions were made by councils of paragons, diverse in race, equal in standing.

The settlents housing the new Eldoralth were divided into Provinces, each governed by councils built on the sa foundation, diversity, equality, and law.

All races, all people, bound under the sa rules that Atticus had personally approved.

Of course, Jenera and Oberon had never told Atticus just how difficult it had been.

The superior races had always seen themselves as more worthy. More evolved. More deserving.

They had nearly died. Saved by soone they once saw as nothing more than trash. And for a ti, they had been grateful.

But after the dust settled, their old arrogance crept back in.

"He was lucky," they whispered.

"It was a fluke," others said.

"He should surrender his power to soone more worthy," many dared to suggest.

When those words began to spread, Jenera, Oberon, and the other paragons felt fear.

If Atticus heard them…

They shuddered at the thought.

They acted swiftly. Silenced the rumors. And even went as far as assassinating those foolish enough to utter such slander.

Still, the bullying continued behind the scenes. The superior races picked on the lower ones like nothing had changed.

Jenera and Oberon knew. It wasn't easy to undo generations of superiority complex in just three months.

Still, they were determined to handle it, without Atticus finding out. They wanted to avoid a massacre.

So, they established a police force. Built on the sa principle as the Sentinel Guardians, but this ti, it included mbers of all races. Their job was simple: enforce the laws and protect the people.

After that, things quickly settled down.

And now, today, they had all felt it. That overwhelming presence that swept through every inch of their being.

Atticus.

But he wasn't just Atticus anymore.

Now, he was a god.

Oberon's question reached Jenera a second too late. Her answer ca instantly.

"The future."

Their eting with the Dominion Pillars had been about exactly that. What they all felt.

Atticus had already briefed them about the gods, and the planes.

So when they felt that divine presence, they quickly connected the dots. The eting was just a formality, to confirm what they already knew.

"What about the future? You don't like where we're headed?" Oberon asked.

He and Jenera had been at the center of it all, pouring every waking mont into building this new society.

"No," Jenera shook her head. A soft smile appearing on her lips. "I like where we're going."

She had lost her grandchild, the Evolari apex. She had grieved. She had even chased revenge.

But after months of trying to build a society from the ashes, Jenera had gotten lost in the process. And in that loss… she found sothing else.

Thrill.

The Evolari had always sought change. The old Eldoralth had grown stale, stagnant.

Truth be told, Jenera had longed for sothing different. And now, she was helping lead it.

"Unfortunately, not all are as happy as you are about the situation."

During the eting, many sat silent, frowns filled their faces. Their discontent was clear.

Atticus now had his grasp on every single one of them, literally. To many, it was too much power for one individual.

But Jenera had reminded them: even before this, Atticus had held their lives in his hands. God or not, nothing had changed.

Yet the frowns only deepened.

Jenera turned to Oberon. "What choice do they have?"

Oberon smiled. "None."

There was nothing any of them could do.

"If they've got a problem with serving him, then they should go and complain to him themselves. As for , I'm loving the change."

In her eyes, nothing was different. Atticus was now a god, but he'd already been one to them long before this.

Still, people would be people.

Oberon only nodded. He understood exactly how she felt.

He had always been a man of logic. And for him, survival was the priority, even if it ant making sacrifices along the way.

And right now, looking back at all the decisions he had made to reach this mont, Oberon couldn't help but comnd himself.

His choice to support Atticus with everything he had had been the best one. Atticus had saved them. Without him, Whisker's siblings would've ravaged Eldoralth and wiped out everyone.

There would've been no survivors.

'People really need to start thinking with sense.'

He couldn't understand it. The boy had saved all of their asses, literally. He had proven himself ti and ti again. So why were people still resisting the inevitable?

'How hard is it to lay down pride for survival?'

Oberon had ant every word he said to Vexarius that day. If kneeling down and begging would ensure survival, he'd do it. Pride without power was idiocy. And Oberon truly believed that.

Now, that sa idiocy was unfolding before his very eyes. The weak were trying to challenge the strong.
