Atticus left the secret base of the Silent Nexus more subtly than he had arrived.

One mont, his overwhelming presence filled the space, and the next, it disappeared.

He went straight back to the estate and his new training room. There, Atticus began his training.

His huge power-up had given him a new avenue for strength, but this wasn't all good, it ant he had a new power to train. Coupled with his truckload of abilities, it was overwhelming.

But Atticus wasn't complaining. It just ant he had nurous ways to gain power, it was a godsend.

Regardless, he still chose one aspect to focus on for now. While his other abilities were indeed powerful in their own right, especially his Auralithians abilities that were already at paragon rank, he didn't like the idea of neglecting one of his main sources of strength, his elents.

He was already this powerful with his elents still in a subpar state. He couldn't help but feel giddy and excited as he thought about how much more powerful he would beco if he leveled them up.

He was excited.

And so, for now, Atticus decided to get used to his new power-ups, noting down their limits before focusing completely on his elents.

But before all of this, Atticus first paid a surprise visit to the Sanctums high above the sky. As they felt his presence, all the sanctum mbers rushed out to greet him.

The news had reached them too, the monster child was now a paragon.

"Scurry away, you oldies! He's here for !"

Ulithi, the Darkness Sanctum Master, stood between Atticus and the other sanctum masters with his hands stretched wide, gazing at the others as though he was protecting sothing precious from bullies.

"Look at you, clinging onto him like so desperate ex. Tch, embarrassing."

The Lightning Sanctum Master clicked his tongue in disapproval.

"If you want to act like a love-struck maiden, at least do it with so dignity, man. You're making all of us look bad."

The Air Sanctum Master smirked as he added his remark.

The other sanctum masters stared at the pot-bellied man with varying expressions, ranging from amusent to embarrassnt, but the Darkness Sanctum Master didn't seem to care.

The last ti Atticus had visited, the Darkness elent was the only one he hadn't ford a domain for. Ulithi wasn't going to take any risks this ti.

He turned to Atticus before quickly bowing. "I'll escort you to the Darkness Sanctum!"

Atticus could only shake his head with a smile. He nodded to the other sanctum masters, acknowledging them before heading toward the Darkness Sanctum.

This was the second ti Atticus was entering the Darkness Sanctum, yet the whole experience felt different from before.

Now, Atticus could see everything as clear as day.

His Darkness elent was still at level three, but the sheer power of his current perception made the darkness ineffective against him.

"You can use here."

Ulithi led Atticus to the peak before gesturing toward the middle and stepping back, his eyes fixed squarely on him. It was obvious he had no intention of missing anything.

The other sanctum masters gathered above the Darkness Sanctum, also watching the scene unfold.

"How long do you think it'll take this ti?" The Air Sanctum Master asked.

"One hour," the new Fire Sanctum Master responded after a mont of thought.

The others didn't say anything, instead choosing to watch.

The last ti Atticus had co, he had ford all their domains except Darkness in less than a week. They each subtly expected him to surpass that level.

However, none of them could have ever expected what happened next.

Seconds.

That was all it took.

Atticus didn't even sit.

As he stood at the middle of the peak, his thoughts shifted to the Darkness elent. It thrived in fear, the cold, creeping dread that gnawed at the soul.

He had hardly ever felt fear.

When Atticus encountered problems, he always thought about the solution rather than wallowing in fear.

However, that didn't an he couldn't feel it.

When he thought about his powerlessness in certain situations, he felt fear.

When he thought about his inability to protect his loved ones from the forces that reincarnated him into Eldoralth, Atticus felt fear.

Weakness.

This was Atticus' fear. And unfortunately, he was still weak.

Atticus resonated with it.

And then, a pillar of darkness pierced the sky, unraveling and encompassing everything in endless night.

The gazes of the sanctum masters shot up in shock.

Who the hell forms a domain in seconds!?

Atticus released his hold over his domain, turning to the side to see Ulithi staring at him like a priceless treasure.

"Um, are you okay?"

Ulithi wiped tears from the corners of his eyes, trying to keep his hands from trembling. He nodded, waving his hand dismissively.

"Ah yes, I'm fine, I'm fine. Don't worry about ."

Atticus didn't believe him, but he nodded regardless.

He bowed to Ulithi, thanking him for his guidance, before doing the sa to the other sanctum masters.

Although they had been following Magnus' orders, they had been kind to him and had taught him without hesitation.

They deserved his respect.

Leaving the sanctum masters with smiles on their faces, even the Ice Sanctum Master, Atticus made his way back to his training room.

'My strength increased slightly, but it's very negligible.'

The creation of his Darkness domain had increased his power, but now that he had paragon-rank strength, it was subpar.

Atticus didn't pay it any heed and started his training, all the while waiting for information from Lyanna.

With his new and improved endurance level, Atticus trained for hours without rest, with only the food visits from Anastasia remaining constant.

The next day ca quickly, and he received a call he had been expecting.

"I see you're enjoying your new training room. Are there any complaints?"

Atticus smiled slightly, gazing at the holographic image of Oberon hovering in the middle of the training room.

"No, it's all good. Thank you for this."

"It's the least we can do for our hope. Let know if there's any feature you'd like to add to it."

Atticus smiled and nodded but said nothing.

Oberon wasn't called the smartest mind for nothing.

"Have you read their demands?"

The atmosphere suddenly turned serious. Atticus nodded.

"And?"

"I refuse."

Oberon nodded, not expressing any shock.

"I thought as much. I'll let you know if anything cos up. In the anti, we'll prepare the human domain for their retaliation. I'll leave you be."

As Atticus nodded, the holographic image disappeared, leaving him to his thoughts.
