Am I having a nightmare?

That was Kahn's first thought when he opened his eyes and saw a woman hanging from a beam, suspended by a white silk ribbon.

He rembered that just a second ago, he had put down his phone, ready to sleep, and the next second, he was standing here.

This is unscientific.

Realizing he was dreaming, Kahn was not flustered in the slightest; he even calmly observed the woman in front of him.

Motionless, she seed to be completely gone.

A beam, a white silk ribbon, an overturned stool—from my experience watching several Ember Island plays, this appears to be a suicide by hanging.

Because the woman had her back to him, Kahn wanted to walk around to the front to see what she looked like, but at that mont, a feeling of resistance arose within him, as if he didn't want to face reality.

As Kahn struggled internally, approaching footsteps sounded. He turned his head and saw soone dressed as a maid.

"Clatter!"

The maid's plate, along with the fruit on it, fell to the ground and shattered, but the maid didn't notice. She trembled all over, and after a long buildup, she finally let out:

"Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah—!!!"

A piercing scream tore through the air, sending chills down one's spine. Kahn, being the closest, bore the brunt of the sound wave, his eyes seeing stars and his entire head buzzing.

Are you a master of the Dragon's Roar, Your Excellency?

In a daze, Kahn saw more people appear, dressed in various outfits, including maids and guards. Upon seeing the hanged woman, they too fell into a daze.

Imdiately, they started buzzing like a disturbed turtle-duck pond, making such a ruckus that he frowned, wanting to tell them to shut up.

But before he could speak, a maid ca forward, picked him up, and walked out of the room. He wanted to struggle, but his body wouldn't obey, remaining completely still.

The maid took him to an unfamiliar room, placed him on the bed, and covered him with a blanket. His eyes, cooperating perfectly, began to droop, and an unstoppable wave of sleepiness washed over him.

What kind of crappy dream is this? There's no freedom at all!

Kahn cursed under his breath and fell asleep again.

Kahn had another dream.

In the dream, he beca a child, and his parents were always by his side. He was carefree and happy all day long, but for so reason, his parents' faces always seed blurry.

Later, his father went to war.

And then, his father died.

And then, his mother also died, hanging herself in front of him.

In the dream, he didn't seem to cry; he was just brought back to his room by the maid, stunned.

"What a tragic story."

Kahn pushed himself up from the bed and stretched: "Haa~ ~ ~"

"I actually had a dream within a dream within a dream, how magical. But that kid is too miserable, isn't he? I wonder what he'll do in the future. If I were that kid, I might as well follow—"

Kahn muttered as he started to get dressed. Once dressed, he hopped off the bed and walked to a bronze mirror to tidy himself up. However, the bronze mirror reflected a handso young boy.

?

Wait!

Kahn suddenly snapped back to reality. A bronze mirror?

He looked down again. Ancient clothes?!

Finally, he looked up at the bronze mirror again. Holy crap, isn't this the little boy from the dream?!!!

The little boy in the bronze mirror also showed a 'holy crap' expression.

"."

". I think I'll go back to sleep."

Kahn 'calmly' lay back down on the bed and pulled the covers over himself.

I must still be half-asleep, definitely!!! —

In the end, Kahn still had to get out of bed because his stomach had started to hurt from hunger.

He used the mories from his dream to find the kitchen, grabbed so random things to eat, but accidentally upset his stomach. Now he was squatting in the toilet, pondering life with a pained expression.

It stinks... No, wait. Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?

Answer: I am Kahn, a young boy. I transmigrated; I'm in another world now. I have diarrhea, and I'm on the toilet.

The third answer was actually irrelevant, but the first and second answers were critical.

He transmigrated!!!

Faced with such a magical yet desperate reality, he spent about twenty minutes accepting it.

Because his legs were numb from squatting, he had to stand up and shakily walk out of the toilet.

Feeling the excruciating soreness and numbness in his legs, Kahn sighed deeply.

Sigh, there isn't even a flush toilet. What's the point of living!

Just kidding, just kidding. Better to live a bad life than die a good one; he understood that principle.

Next, he had to live here, so the first thing—

"Still, I need to figure out the situation first."

Kahn decided to carefully sort through the information from his dream, which was the mories of this body's previous owner.

After sorting, he found that his family lived in the Fire Nation Capital. His father was Tate, and his mother was Rina. The family had many maids and guards, appearing to be wealthy and well-fed, without worries.

With such a happy and superior family, he truly didn't know why this body's father wanted to go to war.

Was he seeking death?

In any case, Tate died in the war.

And putting aside other miscellaneous mories for now, the point that Kahn cared about most was—

This world has supernatural abilities!

Even more fortunately, he happened to possess this supernatural ability.

This world has four elents: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. The entire world is divided into four parts based on these four elents: the Air Nomads, the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, and the Fire Nation.

However, there is one person who can master all four elents simultaneously, and that is the Avatar. Legend has it that the Avatar is responsible for maintaining the balance of the world.

Upon seeing this, Kahn made a judgnt about the Avatar: a standard protagonist template.

What a pity. How great it would be if he were the Avatar.

The reality was that he was a mber of the Fire Nation. The Fire Nation controls the Fire elent. Those who can control the Fire elent are called Firebenders, and the ability to manipulate the Fire elent is called Firebending. The sa applies to the other three.

Not everyone can awaken Firebending; it requires luck and talent. Kahn happened to be one of them.

Although he wasn't the Avatar, being a Firebender was acceptable; at least it ant he had the qualification to escape the status of a re nobody.

It was warti, a chaotic era, and being a nobody in a chaotic era was very miserable.

If he were more ambitious, if the Avatar was the protagonist, then it wouldn't be too much for to be the Avatar's right-hand man, right?

Then, Kahn extended his right hand, recalling the appearance from his mories—

"Mmm—"

"Poof."

A small ball of fla blood in his hand and quickly extinguished. Kahn's expression was awkward; this performance was far worse than what he saw in his mories.

This ant he was even worse than a little kid.

"Accident, accident. I'm just new here and haven't adapted yet."

Kahn comforted himself, after all, the little boy in his mories had been practicing since childhood. How could that count?

Thinking of this, Kahn suddenly rembered:

"Where did everyone else go? Where are my maids? Where are my guards?"

He looked around, but the courtyard was empty; only he stood there, looking bewildered:

"Has the Fire Lord's dynasty fallen?"
