After confirming his victory, Kahn imdiately lay down on the training platform, disregarding his image, and gasped for air. On the other side, the defeated Azula looked much better than Kahn.
Although Azula had been attacking throughout and expended a lot of stamina, even so, she had far more stamina left than Kahn.
In other words, if Kahn hadn't had perfect control over his body, allowing him to avoid wasting unnecessary energy when moving, he probably would have collapsed before Azula even showed a weakness.
After all, even though they were roughly the sa age, Azula was a super genius who had received the best training since childhood. In terms of physical fitness and combat skills, he was no match for her at all.
This victory was a result of his exploitation of the rules, his mysterious golden finger (referring to perfect body control), and Azula's mistakes and loss of composure.
If Azula hadn't chosen to relentlessly pursue him and hadn't fallen into a state of agitation, he absolutely would not have won.
Unfortunately, there were no ifs. Regardless of the process, he ultimately won.
Zuko rushed to his side, exclaiming in surprise:
"You actually beat Azula! That's amazing!"
Even Azula had been defeated by Kahn, so his own defeat didn't seem so terrible. It wasn't that he was too weak; it was that Kahn was too strong!
"Well, you can't really say that…"
Kahn scratched his head at the remark. Although he had won, he wasn't thick-skinned enough to say he had 'beaten' her.
This kid really doesn't know how to talk!
Why didn't he just say I won? Now I feel awkward responding.
On the other side, Azula remained standing in place. She bowed her head in silence, her expression unseen, only her faint gasps audible.
Kahn sat up, just wondering if the little girl had beco withdrawn because of him, when Azula suddenly looked up and burst into laughter:
"Ha, haha, hahahahaha!"
Azula laughed, holding her stomach, gasping for breath. After she had enough, she looked Kahn up and down and said:
"Are you really Great-Grandfather's friend? You… are a bit interesting, and your strength isn't bad. Your way of doing things doesn't seem like soone who would play with Great-Grandfather. Or rather, do you actually like playing so childish make-believe gas? Like raising turtles or sothing?"
"Azula, don't go too far!"
Zuko protested angrily, but Azula continued to ignore him, just staring at Kahn and saying:
"I think we two might get along better than you and Great-Grandfather. What do you think?"
[Ding!]
[Received a friend request!]
If Kahn had a system, such a notification would probably pop up in his mind. Unfortunately, he didn't have a system, so he could only imagine it himself.
What he didn't expect was that after all Azula's talk, she actually wanted to be friends with him.
Is this little girl really that awkward?
Speaking of which, I seem to be inexplicably popular here. Whether it's my classmates, Zuko, or Azula, they all say they have a 'dog magnet' or 'cat magnet' physique. Could it be that I have a 'kid magnet' physique?
Damn it, I don't accept this art style!
Kahn inexplicably started to let his mind wander, commonly known as spacing out.
Because Kahn's thoughts inexplicably drifted elsewhere, he didn't answer Azula's question. To outsiders, Kahn's appearance looked a bit like he was deep in thought.
Zuko imdiately felt a little flustered, but still pretended to be calm and said loudly:
"Kahn, ignore her! Co on, I'll teach you Firebending!"
Saying that, he walked over, grabbed Kahn's clothes, and tugged, wanting to pull Kahn away from Azula.
Azula chuckled:
"Hmph, I also know Firebending, and I've learned more and better than you."
"Kahn won't learn Firebending from you! The teacher said your Firebending isn't standard at all! Your movents aren't solid!"
"But I can beat you up."
"You!"
Their argunt pulled Kahn's thoughts back.
Listening to the content of their quarrel, Kahn was utterly bewildered, both helpless and amused, so he spoke:
"Are your friend slots so limited? Can each person only have one?"
The two of them were stunned. What did he an?
Then, Kahn said to Azula:
"Zuko and I are friends, that's unquestionable. But I also welco you to play with us. We can be friends too."
These words clearly rejected Azula's demand, but extended his own invitation.
Although Zuko didn't want to play with Azula, he was very satisfied with Kahn's stance in the first half of the sentence. In his opinion, this was equivalent to declaring his victory, so he looked at Azula with a triumphant expression.
Azula, on the other hand, imdiately darkened. How dare he be so ungrateful and refuse her invitation? If it were anyone else, she would definitely teach them a harsh lesson, but this Kahn…
"Tsk!"
Azula snorted disdainfully with a sour face, but ultimately didn't make a move.
However, Zuko's treatnt was different. Seeing him so arrogant, Azula vented all her anger on him, and without a word, she used Firebending to light his butt on fire.
Watching Zuko frantically yell and rub himself on the ground, Azula's mood improved sowhat, but after glancing at Kahn, her face darkened again.
And that was all. Azula didn't seem to have any intention of leaving, clearly acquiescing to Kahn's words.
Can this be considered tsundere?
Kahn thought this, then felt a bit awkward, thinking about Azula's previous behavior, and wondered if she should be considered a yandere?
In any case, excluding Zuko, who was currently rolling on the ground trying to put out the fire, the outco was still mostly happy.
Zuko put out the fire on his butt, stood up, and glared angrily at Azula. However, Azula completely ignored him, leaving him to rage helplessly in place.
But as soon as he thought that Kahn had rejected Azula, his mood imdiately improved significantly, so he deliberately avoided looking at Azula and said to Kahn:
"Let teach you Firebending."
Originally, Kahn would have happily agreed, but now…
Kahn lay back down on the ground, like a puddle of mud, "Let rest for a bit first."
Because he had sweated a lot just now, Kahn suddenly felt thirsty, so he asked:
"Zuko, where can I get so water to drink at your place?"
Zuko had expended the least stamina, but also felt a bit thirsty, so he left with a 'wait a mont' and ran out. In a short while, he brought back a maid.
?
Oh, it turned out to be a maid carrying a teapot and three cups.
You scared .
Although Zuko and Azula had a bad relationship, and she had just bullied him, Zuko still hadn't forgotten Azula's share.
Kahn took the water cup. It was warm. He took a small sip first, and once again sighed in his heart, 'What a good kid!'
Azula was not polite either. She walked over, picked up a water cup, and chugged it down in one go.
Kahn kindly reminded her:
"Drinking a lot of water right after exercising isn't good for your body."
"Tsk!"
Azula gave him another disdainful look, ignored him, put down the cup, and then sat down beside Kahn.
Hmm?
Kahn looked at her strangely, not understanding what was going on with this little girl.
Kahn and Azula rested in place, while Zuko sat on the other side, finding nothing to do and feeling a bit bored.
Suddenly, he rembered sothing and said with an expectant look:
"Kahn, why don't you continue the story from last ti?"
"Last ti? Oh, that one."
Kahn thought for a mont, then realized.
"Alright."
"Oh my goodness, Great-Grandfather wants to hear a story! Hmph, childish, boring."
Azula scoffed at this, lying on the ground, crossing her legs, and closing her eyes to rest.
Kahn ignored Azula's mockery, sat up from the ground, and began to speak:
"Last ti, I told you about Sun Wukong being reprimanded by Patriarch Subodhi in front of everyone, who then tapped him on the head three tis…"
