The next day, under Azula's watch, Kahn projected his spirit from his body.

East, South, West, and North also rged into Four Directions in spiritual form, carrying Kahn openly out of the capital from the courtyard without anyone noticing.

In their spiritual state, unbound by physical laws, Four Directions moved like a fish through water, streaking across the sky like a golden teor as they rapidly flew toward their destination.

"Uncle, are you saying Kahn is bringing his spirit friends to pick up?"

Zuko sounded half-convinced and half-doubtful.

"That sounds a little unreliable."

Although he knew Iroh and Kahn had been communicating through the Spirit World all these years, and although he had sotis used Iroh to pass ssages to Kahn, he had also learned quite a bit about spirits, the Spirit World, and spirit beings.

But his knowledge was still only knowledge.

After all, he could not see spirits, could not enter the Spirit World, and had never seen a spirit being with his own eyes.

Everything he knew had co from Iroh.

In fact, at first, he had even thought Iroh had fallen seriously ill and started hallucinating, which had worried him for a long ti.

"This ti, you'll have the chance to see them yourself."

"You may even have the chance to co into close contact with a spirit."

"That is truly enviable."

Iroh chuckled as he spoke.

"But rember, when facing a spirit…"

"Maintain respect and kindness."

"I rember, Uncle."

"You don't have to keep repeating it."

Zuko looked helpless and quickly refilled Iroh's teacup, clearly telling him to stop talking.

The two were sitting by the window on the second floor of a teahouse in a small town.

From this position, they could observe the pedestrians on the street and watch for any pursuing soldiers.

Both of them had disguised themselves.

To conceal the scar over his left eye, Zuko even wore a wide bamboo hat.

Iroh smiled and shook his head, about to lecture Zuko a little more.

But at that mont, he saw a brilliant golden light suddenly appear on the horizon.

It gradually grew from a tiny point, finally transforming into a noble and magnificent spirit bird.

And on the back of that spirit bird sat a figure, making the whole scene appear almost mystical.

Iroh imdiately showed a joyful expression.

"They're here!"

Zuko was still looking outside in confusion, while Iroh directly projected his spirit from his body and rose above the teahouse, waving toward Kahn.

That imdiately drew Kahn's attention.

Seeing Iroh, Kahn's face lit up with joy.

He urged Four Directions forward and arrived beside Iroh, greeting him with a smile.

"Long ti no see, Uncle Iroh."

Iroh froze for a mont, then quickly reacted and smiled in return.

"Long ti no see."

Then he greeted Four Directions and thanked them.

"I'll have to trouble you this ti."

Four Directions transford back into East, South, West, and North.

The little spirits spoke in unison.

"Rember to treat us to cake!"

"Hahahaha, of course."

"No problem."

After exchanging greetings, Iroh's spirit returned to his body, and Kahn and East, South, West, and North entered the teahouse as well.

At that mont, Kahn finally saw Zuko again.

Zuko had grown much taller than before.

His posture was straighter, and the childishness on his face had gradually faded.

More importantly, his eyes held less innocence than before, replaced by composure and determination.

Although Ozai had many problems, his appearance was still excellent, and Ursa had always been a great beauty.

Zuko had inherited the best features of both, handso yet carrying a touch of gentleness, an undeniably striking young man.

However, a large, hideous dark-red scar covered his left eye.

It was incredibly eye-catching and shocking, severely disrupting the harmony of his features.

That was the severe burn Ozai had left on Zuko with firebending during their duel.

It silently spoke of Zuko's tragic past and Ozai's cruelty.

Seeing that scar, Kahn's mood sank despite himself, and his determination to remove Ozai grew even firr.

Even so, judging from the temperant Zuko now displayed, he was clearly no longer the impulsive and innocent child he once had been.

"Uncle, could you at least warn before doing that?"

"I thought you suddenly fainted!"

"Alright, alright, that isn't important."

"What matters is, look—"

Zuko was still complaining about Iroh's sudden out-of-body projection, but Iroh chuckled and brushed it aside.

Then he ca to Kahn's side, pointed at him, and said,

"Kahn is here!"

Zuko looked at the empty space Iroh was pointing toward and said sowhat helplessly,

"Uncle, I can't see him…"

Kahn looked at Iroh with a dark expression, having no idea what the old man was trying to do.

Iroh also scratched the back of his head awkwardly after realizing the problem, proving once again that he had a talent for terrible jokes.

However, Kahn's thoughts stirred, and his voice sounded directly in Zuko's mind.

"Long ti no see, Zuko."

Spiritbending did not rely on the existence of chi, so it could still be used in spiritual form.

At this mont, that proved extrely convenient.

"Ah!"

The sudden voice in his mind startled Zuko.

But he quickly realized who it belonged to, and surprise imdiately turned into joy.

"Kahn?"

"Is that you?"

"I think I can hear your voice."

"It's ."

"This is a form of spiritbending that lets send what I want to say directly into your mind."

"This is spiritbending too?"

"That's amazing."

"It seems you've learned a lot of new things during this ti."

Zuko exclaid in wonder, but then, as if rembering sothing, he imdiately fell silent again.

Seeing this, Kahn spoke with amusent.

"Don't try."

"For now, I can only send my words into other people's minds."

"I can't hear what's in theirs."

Hearing this, Zuko asked in surprise,

"Then how do you know what I'm thinking?"

"With you, isn't it easy to guess what you're about to do?"

Hearing that familiar voice and tone, Zuko could not help smiling.

Although it had been a long ti since they last t, after just one exchange, it felt as though he and Kahn had never truly been separated.

"Kahn, long ti…"

Zuko originally wanted to greet him naturally, but looking at the empty space in front of him, he ultimately swallowed the words.

He said helplessly,

"Never mind."

"Let's say that when we really et."

"Otherwise, it feels like I'm talking to myself, which is strange."

Kahn laughed when he heard this.

"Then we'll talk properly when that ti cos."

Iroh watched the two interact with a smile, as if he had been carried back to old tis, feeling sowhat emotional.

But as long as Ozai's rule could be overthrown, they would naturally be able to reunite.

To avoid drawing attention, the group left the town and headed into the wilderness.

East, South, West, and North rged once more into Four Directions, revealing their true form.

The sight imdiately stunned Zuko, who had never seen a spirit being before.

Even among spirits, Four Directions' appearance was especially striking, perfectly matching an ordinary person's imagination of a divine creature.

Zuko bowed respectfully to Four Directions.

"Thank you for your help, honored spirit."

Four Directions replied calmly,

"I am rely helping my friend."

At the side, Kahn heard this and reached out to stroke the feathers beneath Four Directions' body, giving them a thumbs-up.

Four Directions also raised their head slightly, looking very proud.

I really didn't expect sothing like this to happen around .

I have a good friend who got into a relationship and was manipulated.

Not only did she lose several months of internship salary, but almost all of her savings were swindled away too.

When she realized what had happened, she completely broke down.

My friends and I comforted her for a long ti.

It was truly terrifying.

I hope everyone stays far away from scumbags and manipulative people.

Don't be a pushover.

And hopefully, you can all find true love.

As for , of course, no dating ans no trouble.
