"Ugh, this won't do."

During the break, Kori was about to find Kahn to play when she saw him slumped in his seat, sighing for no clear reason.

"What's wrong?"

"You look troubled."

Kori asked.

"Uh, nothing."

"It's just that a few friends and I have been looking for sothing for a long ti and can't find it."

"It's a bit of a headache."

Kahn made an excuse.

After all, he couldn't casually tell her about Azula's affairs.

The "Adventure Ga" had been going on for so ti, but everyone had found little.

Without any information, they were like blind n feeling an elephant, conducting a blanket search, which was terribly inefficient.

If this continued, they probably wouldn't find any clues even when they were old.

Not to ntion the future, at this rate, they might go bald from all the stress.

Kori didn't know Kahn's true intentions, but hearing that he was looking for sothing, she imdiately smiled and confidently said:

"Looking for sothing?"

"I'm good at that!"

"Let help!"

"You're good at it?"

Kahn glanced at her skeptically, his tone full of disbelief.

You don't even know what we're looking for, and you're already claiming you're good at it?

"Don't believe ?"

"Watch show you."

Facing Kahn's skeptical gaze, Kori didn't mind.

As she spoke, she gently placed her hand on Kahn's desk and closed her eyes.

After a mont, she said:

"There are five books in your desk."

"Two pens."

"And a paper bag you forgot to throw away after breakfast."

"There are also a few slips of paper stuck in the crack on the right side of the drawer."

The books, pens, and paper bag were indeed there.

But the slips of paper…

Kahn moved the books on the right side of the drawer and reached in.

Sure enough, he felt a few slips of paper.

The slips contained so gossip, probably left by a previous occupant of this seat while passing notes during class.

He had never noticed their existence.

Kahn was truly surprised now.

"How did you do that?"

"Did you forget?"

"I'm an Earthbender."

Kori smiled and whispered.

She had been quite reckless when school first started, but now she knew to be mindful of her influence.

After all, not everyone was as reasonable as Kahn.

There were plenty of unruly kids, and Kori didn't want to constantly waste her energy on aningless disputes.

Getting back to the main topic, although he had sparred with Kori, an Earthbender, every day on the training grounds before, he had never known that Earthbenders had this ability.

He was genuinely surprised.

Kori explained that Earthbenders could perceive objects in contact with the ground through vibrations.

This was one of the fundantal skills of an Earthbender.

Of course, it wasn't limited to the ground.

For example, as she had just demonstrated, she could perceive objects on a table through the surface.

Or by touching a wall, she could "see" the structure of an entire building.

The range of application was quite broad.

Damn, what kind of divine skill is this!

Look at the basic abilities of Earthbending.

These are practical skills.

Then look at the basics of Firebending—

Breathing!

Breathing that everyone can do!

Kahn was instantly envious.

But thinking about it, he rembered reading sothing similar in a book.

After all, Earthbending was originally taught by the badgermoles.

In the end, the sheer coolness of Firebending gradually brought Kahn back to his senses.

But if that was the case, then as Kori said, she really was good at finding things.

Especially the kind of things they were looking for.

Having an Earthbender search for an underground secret room was like having the perfect tool for the job.

But the problem now was that this was not an ordinary adventure ga.

Would there be danger if Kori got involved?

"So, do you think I can help?"

Kori was still waiting for his answer.

However, the confident expression on her face made it sound more like a statent.

Kahn ca back to his senses and smiled.

"Of course you can."

"Your ability is truly amazing."

"However, my friend's identity and this matter are a bit special, so I need to discuss it with her first."

"A special friend?"

"Sounds interesting."

Hearing this, Kori beca even more curious.

She didn't find anything strange about his explanation.

This was the Fire Nation's capital, filled with royalty, nobles, officials, and wealthy rchants.

She herself was the daughter of a governor, so she naturally understood that every family had its secrets.

What Kahn referred to as a "special matter" was probably sothing related to an official or a noble.

She found that completely unsurprising.

So she casually said:

"It's fine."

"We're good friends, and I trust you."

"Just co to if there's any problem."

"Mm."

Azula, having found nothing again today, was feeling irritable.

So she ca to Kahn's house, ready to spar with him and vent her frustration.

However, as soon as Kahn got ho, he brought her what sounded like good news.

"I have a friend who can be very helpful to our operation."

Kahn briefly introduced Kori's ability.

Azula's eyes imdiately lit up.

She said lightly:

"I didn't expect you to have such a friend."

"Not bad, not bad."

"It seems your judgnt isn't so poor after all."

Kahn was utterly confused.

"When was my judgnt ever bad?"

"If your judgnt wasn't bad, would you be playing with zuzu?"

"Oh, maybe you're just blind then."

Kahn was speechless.

Good heavens, she could even drag Zuko into this?

"But if you put it that way, aren't we friends too?"

"That's why I said your judgnt isn't that bad."

Azula's words were airtight.

Kahn didn't bother arguing with her anymore.

Seeing Azula's cheerful expression, he said:

"A word of caution beforehand."

"My friend isn't like us, and her strength isn't great."

"I don't want her to get too deeply involved."

"If you want her help, I need to guarantee her safety."

"Tsk, quite a lot of demands."

Azula frowned slightly.

"Can you guarantee she's trustworthy?"

Kahn recalled his various interactions with Kori.

He also rembered what she had said at school.

Finally, he spoke slowly:

"I can't guarantee it."

"So it's best not to let her know too much."

"But her safety is a must."

Sorry, Kori.

Although he personally believed that Kori was genuinely kind to him, objectively speaking, he still didn't know enough about her.

His own situation was still precarious.

He had to be cautious.

"Good."

"That's more like it."

Kahn's answer satisfied Azula.

She patted his shoulder and whispered in his ear:

"Our current situation requires absolute caution."

"Especially when it cos to who we involve."

"Not everyone can be trusted."

Even with Mai and Ty Lee, who had grown up with her since childhood, she had no intention of telling them about the plan.

As for Zuko, he should really be grateful to her.

She had never been so lenient before.

Kahn was special in her eyes.

But if he truly made a foolish decision, she might not do anything to him.

However, as for that so-called friend, she would definitely find a way to eliminate her to ensure their safety.

But now, Azula simply smiled with satisfaction.

Before turning and leaving, she made a promise.

"No problem."

"I'll keep my word."

It wasn't until Azula's figure completely disappeared from view that Kahn shook his head and sighed.

"Have I gone astray?"
