Kahn and Azula were sparring.

Although it was only a spar, to onlookers, their battle likely looked more like a fight to the death, with every move deadly and rciless, enough to make people tremble.

Unlike their childhood fighting style, which focused on close-quarters combat, as they grew older and their physical abilities improved, the power of their firebending beca increasingly potent, and their style evolved from warriors clashing to masters unleashing flas at one another.

If an ordinary firebender saw their battle, they would likely be stunned with astonishnt.

The power of firebending in their hands was simply not on the sa level as that of ordinary firebenders.

The two stood about five ters apart, with surging flas colliding and rging between them, scorching the ground.

The temperature of the surrounding area rose significantly from the intensity of the flas, and even the air seed subtly distorted.

With a casual wave, Azula sent a blue arc of fire several ters long straight toward Kahn's face.

Without changing his expression, Kahn turned his right palm into a blade and split the arc vertically.

However, several waves of fire followed closely behind, tracing beautiful arcs through the air and completely surrounding him from all directions.

Kahn raised his hands above his head, and a massive wall of fire rose up, blocking all the attacks.

Yellow and blue flas collided and rged, creating a dazzling spectacle that concealed lethal intent beneath its beauty.

Azula's torrent of fire ca swiftly and faded just as quickly.

The blue flas soon dissipated, but the wall of fire Kahn had raised remained standing tall.

Then Kahn shifted his movents, and the wall transford with him, turning into a cascading waterfall of flas that surged forward toward Azula.

Azula lowered her stance, clasped her hands together, and thrust forward with force.

A powerful pillar of fire erupted like a sharp blade, easily splitting the flaming waterfall in two.

It continued surging forward without losing montum, as if intending to cut Kahn in half.

However, within her sight, Kahn had disappeared at so unknown mont.

Azula's heart jolted.

Suddenly, she felt a strong gust of wind behind her.

She quickly ducked and rolled forward, creating distance in an instant.

Turning her head, she saw Kahn still in a striking posture, unmoving, simply smiling at her.

"Tsk."

Azula dropped her stance and spat in annoyance, swinging her arm to throw a fireball at him, which he casually knocked aside.

She knew she had lost.

If Kahn had truly struck from behind just now, whether with firebending or chi blocking, the outco would have been disastrous.

High-intensity firebending consud a great deal of stamina.

The lingering heat in the surroundings made Azula sweat heavily, her throat dry as she panted.

But she ignored it all and walked up to Kahn, directly asking, "How did you get behind ?"

Kahn answered,

"I hid within the fla waterfall.

If you had observed carefully, you should have noticed ."

"Hmph, always relying on these underhanded tricks!"

Azula kicked him again in irritation, muttering dismissively, as if she herself didn't enjoy using such tactics.

To be fair, Kahn had learned those tricks from her.

"Heh heh, in any case, I won this ti!"

Kahn chuckled proudly, only to receive an eye-roll from Azula as she said disdainfully,

"Just luck.

You still have plenty more losses ahead of you!"

"Heh, you think I'd believe that?

We're about even in wins and losses, and I should have more wins, actually."

"Bullshit!"

The two bickered.

As the victor, Kahn didn't mind the loser venting.

He walked over to the stone steps near the training ground, picked up a water bottle, and poured two cups.

The water, which had once cooled, had beco warm again from the heat of their firebending, and the training ground felt as scorching as if it had been baked under the sumr sun.

When he turned around, Azula had already walked over.

Kahn handed her the water and sat down on the steps to rest.

Azula unceremoniously sat beside him.

Sparring with Azula always demanded full effort, and after such an intense battle, both of them were nearly exhausted.

Looking at the training ground ravaged by flas, they could feel their own progress most clearly at this mont.

In his battles with Azula, from initially forcing draws through physical advantage, to gradually daring to face her head-on and losing more often than winning, to now standing on equal footing, Kahn truly felt his terrifying talent.

In terms of combat ability, Iroh had evaluated him as already stronger than most firebenders in the world, firmly within the upper tier, and undoubtedly one of the strongest among the younger generation.

The other, of course, was Azula.

So he couldn't help but exclaim,

"My talent truly frightens even myself!

As expected of !"

"Heh, when it cos to shalessness and narcissism, you certainly have a unique talent."

Azula sneered, still unable to get over her recent defeat, and declared,

"You can only be proud for now.

Once I learn that move, you'll be in for a surprise!"

Hearing this, Kahn couldn't help but feel curious and instinctively asked,

"That move?

Which move?"

Azula imdiately smiled slyly, as if her sche had worked.

"Guess!"

"Tsk."

Kahn clicked his tongue in annoyance, but the curiosity in his heart grew, itching like a cat's scratch.

He was the kind of person with strong curiosity, and people who spoke in riddles were exactly the type he found most irritating.

So he feigned indifference and said,

"Whatever.

No matter what, you still can't beat ."

"Heh, say whatever you like."

Azula remained unmoved, a faint smile on her face, clearly seeing through his provocation.

Finally, Kahn couldn't help but guess,

"It must be so hidden advanced application of firebending, right?"

Because of Iroh's advice, he had spent years diligently practicing firebending and strengthening his foundation.

Although his mind was filled with countless bold ideas, he had always restrained himself from experinting recklessly.

Now, his mastery of firebending was becoming increasingly refined, and his understanding of flas more profound.

Even without testing it, he was certain that firebending was far more than simple manipulation of fire.

So as soon as he heard Azula's words, he suspected she had learned a higher application beyond standard firebending.

"Who knows?

Maybe I'm learning earthbending."

Azula replied casually, speaking nonsense without batting an eye.

"You—"

Kahn took a deep breath and decided to use his trump card.

"Azula, do you seriously not think your personality is terrible?"

As the saying goes, the truth hurts the most.

Co on, let's hurt each other.

"Huh?!

Are you asking for a beating?!"

"You started it!"

"Who cares!"

The two began bickering again.

Perhaps Kahn himself hadn't noticed that after living in this world for two years, his personality hadn't matured with ti.

Instead, he was becoming more and more like a child his age.

His speech and habits were also unconsciously influenced by those around him, blending more naturally into this world, no longer as out of place as before.

Of course, the influence worked both ways, and those around him were also affected by him to varying degrees.

It was worth ntioning that Kahn was now much taller than before.

Although his childishness hadn't completely faded, he still appeared bright and spirited, and many girls at school had confessed to him.

Kahn, of course, refused.

He wasn't a pervert, so he had no interest in children.

In the afternoon, Kahn waited eagerly at the door for Iroh, because he had been looking forward to this day for a long ti.

Now, his bending had roughly t Iroh's standards, and the path ahead was clearly laid out before him—

The path of a Firebending Master.
