I just released a new book.
The story follows a protagonist who gets thrown into a Gotham where Marvel and DC worlds are rged together and gains a Spider-Man system. But unlike the usual overpowered protagonists, he has no identity, no money, and is literally starving most of the ti.
On top of that, the system constantly forces him to act like a genuinely kind-hearted superhero.
While dealing with Gotham's criminals, he's also struggling just to survive without dying from hunger.
The funniest part is that even Batman thinks there's sothing seriously wrong with him.
It's a chaotic and entertaining story that mixes Gotham's dark atmosphere with Spider-Man's energy really well.
The title is: Spider of Gotham

Bringing all the rebels back to the military camp ant the mission was, for the most part, complete.
To preserve his image, Yudan rely mocked the captured Devon in front of everyone, though the smugness on his face was impossible to hide.
After Azula's kick, Devon no longer dared to shout.
His face was full of misery; he had never imagined his escape plan would collapse so quickly.
And the mont he thought about what awaited him next, his expression grew even more hollow and desolate.
Unfortunately for him, punishnt ca faster than he expected.
Just as they had suspected, soone like Devon would never have dared to lead a rebellion unless he had so assurance or so piece of information to rely on.
Azula found that point very interesting and decided to interrogate him personally.
When Yudan heard this, he imdiately declared with righteous conviction that he should also take responsibility and joined in.
Anyone with eyes could tell he simply wanted a chance to tornt Devon.
So Yudan enthusiastically ordered a tent cleared out to serve as an interrogation chamber.
Not long after, chaos erupted inside.
Then ca Devon's sudden, shrill scream, sharp enough to make everyone outside tense.
Amid those screams, Azula walked out of the interrogation chamber as though nothing had happened.
Kahn couldn't help asking curiously,
"What happened in there?"
Azula shrugged.
"Nothing."
"Soone simply didn't understand his position, so I helped him wake up."
"What about the interrogation?"
"Later."
"It seems continuing right now would be a little difficult for him."
Kahn was surprised.
Since when had Azula beco so gentle?
But the mont that thought crossed his mind, he saw a badly burned body being carried out on a stretcher and rushed away for treatnt.
From the few recognizable features left, Kahn could still roughly tell it was Devon.
He silently swallowed his earlier comnt.
Sure enough, Azula was still Azula.
Her thods were as ruthless as ever.
"You call that nothing?"
"Mm-hmm."
Azula looked perfectly innocent, as though she truly had no idea what he ant.
With that expression, she even looked a little cute.
But Kahn knew that whenever Azula wore that face, she was only humoring him.
If she didn't want to explain, then fine.
He could always ask soone else.
So he found Yudan, who ca out afterward, and asked what exactly had happened.
Yudan still seed shaken, and the way he looked at Kahn carried a strange hint of fear.
When questioned, he answered carefully,
"Just now, one of your subordinates accidentally exposed your identities."
"Then Devon tried to sway Her Highness."
"But Her Highness saw through him."
After the previous incident, rumors about them had begun spreading.
Among the common people, Azula's intelligence and martial prowess were the parts most often discussed.
Within the army, however, Kahn was rembered as Iroh's traitorous disciple.
After all, before Ozai took the throne, the army had always been Iroh's domain.
Though Ozai had worked hard to promote his own loyalists after seizing power, most of the generals still ca from Iroh's era.
Yudan was one of them.
Devon had been as well before his betrayal.
Returning to the matter at hand, once Devon learned that the girl before him was the rumored Princess Azula, he seed to believe he had found a faint chance at survival.
He flattered Azula desperately, hoping to trade the top-secret information he held for his life.
The process went more smoothly than Azula had expected.
If nothing had gone wrong, Devon's plan might actually have worked.
After all, Azula was indeed interested in his so-called top-secret information.
Unfortunately—
While praising Azula, he also slandered and sared Kahn.
He believed that a disciple chosen by Iroh would never betray him so easily, and suspected there had to be so hidden sche at play.
He hoped to drive a wedge between the two.
Then Azula set him on fire.
After hearing the explanation, Kahn had to admit the man had so insight.
After all, Devon was right.
Kahn truly had not betrayed Iroh.
But no matter how clever Devon thought he was, he never could have guessed that Azula was on Kahn's side.
In the end, his little bit of cleverness only brought disaster down on his own head.
It was much like when he had decisively sided with Iroh before.
Objectively speaking, Iroh had held real military power at the ti.
If he had been dissatisfied with the outco and chosen to seize power by force, Ozai likely would not have been able to stop him.
Kahn believed Iroh understood that as well.
Unfortunately, Iroh's nature ant he would never do such a thing.
Returning to the point, after understanding the full story, Kahn only felt it was a pity.
If Azula was going to act, she could at least have waited until Devon confessed everything honestly.
What had she been in such a rush for?
On the other side, Yudan secretly observed Kahn.
He couldn't understand why Princess Azula would grow so furious over such a small matter.
Was this traitor Kahn really that important to her?
Could it be…?
Looking at Kahn's handso face, Yudan suddenly arrived at a startling guess.
The look he gave Kahn imdiately turned disdainful.
Kahn, however, noticed nothing.
Judging from Devon's injuries, further interrogation would be impossible for the ti being.
They were too lazy to delay, so they began the return journey with the rebels in custody.
Any questions could be asked slowly along the way.
Before they left, Azula suddenly extended an offer to Yudan.
She said she had seen his loyalty, that past matters could be overlooked, and asked whether he was willing to transfer back to the Fire Nation capital for a logistics post.
In a sense, this was equivalent to a promotion.
After a mont of hesitation, Yudan accepted the order with visible pleasure.
"Is there sothing noteworthy about that man?"
Afterward, Kahn asked Azula.
Frankly, he didn't think Yudan had any outstanding qualities worth recruiting.
"Recruit him?"
"No."
"It isn't us recruiting him."
"It's Father."
Azula smiled.
In her eyes, Yudan and Devon were equally foolish.
Yudan had simply been a little luckier.
For such "talent," she naturally intended to make the best possible use of him.
As long as Yudan showed that sa habit of dragging his feet when the ti ca for them to seize power, it would count as a contribution.
Kahn: "Impressive."
And so, the two of them began their return journey.
This mission had indeed gone very smoothly.
If only every mission in the future could be this easy, Kahn thought.
As if the world had heard Kahn tempting fate, an unexpected incident occurred on the second day of their return.
A group of people suddenly blocked their path, clearly targeting them with purpose.
It seed Devon really did have reinforcents.
They had simply arrived a little late.
"Stay alert!"
The Royal Guards imdiately moved into formation.
At that mont, seeing the newcors, Devon shouted excitedly despite his injuries,
"Master Jeong Jeong, save !"
