After a while, Noren finally cald down completely.
He stood up and said to Kahn,
"I'm ashad."
"You saw sothing weak and ugly."
Kahn disliked scenes like this as well, so he did not dwell on it.
"It's alright."
"Let's get back to business."
Returning to the main issue, Noren beca serious again and said,
"So, do you want Ursa to regain her mories so she can help you?"
"Or do you only need the truth of that night?"
"If it's the latter, I can tell you now."
"You know?"
"Yes, I know."
"Ursa told about it back then."
Noren nodded, then began negotiating.
"Can this information guarantee that Ursa and I won't have our peaceful life disturbed?"
Since he could not resist, he could only do his best to bargain.
Kahn had not expected Noren to know even sothing like this, which showed just how deeply Ursa had trusted him.
As for Noren's question, Kahn pondered for a mont before speaking.
"Hmm."
"If it were only up to , I might agree."
"But considering Zuko and Azula, I can only apologize."
"You and Ursa have a child now too."
"I think you should understand how important a mother is to her children, and how important children are to their mother."
"Does Ursa truly feel nothing for Zuko and Azula?"
"Is she truly unwilling even to rember them?"
Kahn's question left Noren silent.
Of course he knew Ursa's love for her children was unquestionable.
Before accepting the Mother of Faces' help, the thing that tornted her most had been her mories of Zuko and Azula.
She had never wanted to forget them.
However, at the final mont, he had barely managed to persuade her.
And if it happened again, he could not be certain of the outco.
So he could only sigh deeply and accept Kahn's words.
"Alright."
"I'll tell Ursa the whole truth and let her choose for herself."
"But if Ursa chooses to regain her mories and identity, what about her safety?"
Hearing this, Kahn understood that Noren had compromised, and he relaxed slightly before giving his assurance.
"Don't worry."
"We won't allow her to be hard in the slightest."
"On our side, we have the famous firebending master Iroh."
"And Azula and I have so strength as well…"
"That promise is enough."
"You don't need to tell too much."
"I'm just an ordinary man."
"I don't understand those matters."
Noren waved his hand, signaling for him to stop.
However, by this point, he had clearly reached another realization.
"Even if I don't have the strength to protect Ursa…"
"If danger cos, at least I must die before she does."
"I will ensure your safety."
Kahn said only that final sentence and nothing more.
Words alone were not enough.
The rest had to be proven through action.
And so, everything was finally settled for the most part.
Next, Noren would return and tell Ursa the truth, allowing her to make her own choice.
But if she herself was unwilling, then Kahn would have no other option.
At that point, Zuko and Azula would probably have to intervene personally.
However, even if Ursa was willing to regain her identity and mories, they would still have to wait until the next season to seek help from the Mother of Faces again.
During that ti, they still had plenty of room to prepare themselves ntally.
If Noren chose to run during that opportunity, then hopefully he would not do anything so foolish.
Otherwise, things would beco very unpleasant.
At this point, Noren no longer concealed anything.
Following the flow of the conversation, he told Kahn the truth of that night as he had heard it from Ursa.
Back then, Fire Lord Azulon, in order to punish Ozai, had ordered Zuko's execution, wanting Ozai to experience the pain of losing a child.
Although Ozai had been furious, he had not seed intent on defying Azulon's order.
However, Azula overheard their conversation and told Ursa what she had heard.
So Ursa hurried to Ozai and begged him not to harm Zuko.
In exchange, Ursa offered Ozai a bottle of colorless, odorless, fatal poison that she had made herself.
She also promised to leave the palace forever and never appear before the world again.
Later, on the road, she learned of Ozai's sudden ascension to the throne and understood that he had used the poison to kill Azulon, then forged the forr Fire Lord's will.
Ursa could make poison?
And with such skill?
Kahn listened, stunned.
Noren explained that Ursa was not an ordinary woman from the countryside.
She was the granddaughter of the previous Avatar, Roku.
When Avatar Roku grew old, he lived at the Fire Nation's Avatar Temple.
But one day, the volcano there suddenly erupted.
Avatar Roku sacrificed himself to help people escape, staying behind to stop the lava from spreading.
After that, the Fire Nation declared war on the world.
Roku's widow took their daughter and moved to Hira'a, living there anonymously.
Later, Ursa was born.
Still later, a Fire Sage prophesied that the union between Fire Lord Azulon's son and the descendant of the Avatar would produce a powerful child.
That child would help them fulfill their long-cherished dream of unifying the world.
So Azulon brought his second son, Ozai, to Ursa's family and forced Ursa to marry him.
That was the beginning of all the tragedy.
At this point, the cause and effect of the entire story finally beca clear.
To do such a thing for a vague prophecy, combined with Azulon's bizarre decision to condemn Zuko to death, Kahn could not help sighing that the old Fire Lord had truly been sowhat brainless.
It seed Ozai had perfectly inherited Azulon's worst traits.
Kahn could only be glad Iroh had not inherited those flaws.
Otherwise, that would have been terrifying.
However, the most important part of the story was that he finally understood the truth of that night.
So Ozai had killed the forr Fire Lord using a special poison made by Ursa.
No wonder there had been no wounds on the body.
Although they had speculated about this before, today they finally had a definite answer.
Their plan was finally moving toward its final step.
Next, he could finally tell Iroh and Zuko about this matter and the truth.
Azula could also use this to fully bring Mai and Ty Lee into the fold.
After that, they would begin notifying their forces to prepare for a counterattack.
The plan to take down Ozai directly should also be placed on the agenda.
Things were about to beco busy again.
Although they were about to beco busy, Kahn was filled with motivation this ti.
Because their plan had reached its final stage.
As long as Ozai's rule was overthrown, what awaited him would be a beautiful life unlike anything before.
With everything said, Noren was now ready to return and explain the truth to Ursa.
