Kahn's sudden "episode" brought their entire discussion to an abrupt halt.

Even though he repeatedly insisted he was perfectly fine, Azula still dragged him straight to the Imperial Physician for a full examination. The diagnosis?

"Possible ntal disarray due to excessive stress."

Kahn: ??? Thanks a lot!

After that, Azula imdiately confined him to his ho, ordering him to rest for three full days — absolutely no resistance allowed.

And so, after his failed attempt at self-disclosure, he sohow ended up with a three-day vacation.

Hmm… not the worst outco?

Originally, Kahn thought that since his identity as a transmigrator might be exposed sooner or later, it would be better to tell the truth himself and at least keep the initiative.

Give everyone ti to adapt.

But while daydreaming in the shower, he replayed his own dramatic confession and suddenly wondered if maybe… just maybe… that had been unnecessary.

Forget Azula's reaction — would anyone even believe him? More likely they'd assu he was ntally unstable.

Better to let ti and fate handle things.

Still, it wasn't completely useless. If his identity ever got exposed and Azula confronted him about it, he could always respond confidently:

"I told you already!"

Yes, it was stupid. But also kind of convenient.

At the very least, the two of them now technically "knew all each other's secrets."

Not that it helped with anything.

For the next three days, Kahn obediently followed Azula's orders. He rested, recharged, and organized everything he had learned recently.

Aside from information about Ursa and Face Mother, his greatest gain ca from the Waterbending knowledge Misu had shared before leaving.

What Misu displayed in their confrontation wasn't just simple Waterbending.

She could control flowers, vines, and other plants — a mysterious, almost spiritual technique.

According to her, this was a derivative form of Waterbending: controlling the water inside plants to manipulate them indirectly.

When Kahn heard that, his mind imdiately jumped to a far more terrifying idea:

controlling blood.

Of course, just like his theory about manipulating body heat through Firebending, it remained only theoretical.

Living beings had natural chi circulation protection.

Unless a bender's chi was overwhelmingly stronger, or special conditions existed, it was impossible to forcibly override soone else's chi.

It was a sha he didn't have more ti, or that Misu wasn't the type who enjoyed sparring. If she had been, he could've learned even more from her.

Still, she taught him plenty of basic Water Tribe knowledge.

For example, female Waterbenders could awaken a unique healing ability — Water Healing — allowing them to nd injuries through Waterbending.

Kahn was instantly shocked.

The healer class has arrived?!

Between Water Healing and the Earth Kingdom's seismic sense, it was yet another day of envying the talents of other Benders.

He also rembered Zuko's injured left eye. Would Water Healing be able to cure that? He wasn't sure — but he definitely wanted to try soday.

Later, Misu also told him about a certain… infuriating tradition in her holand.

She and her brother ca from the Northern Water Tribe, the massive Water Tribe fortress in the North Pole — an icy region the Fire Nation had always struggled to conquer.

But the rule that shocked Kahn was this:

Female Waterbenders were only allowed to heal — not fight.

Male Waterbenders were forbidden from learning healing.

???

Setting aside the blatant gender discrimination, Kahn couldn't understand the logic.

Why deliberately cripple your own potential?

Who wouldn't want warriors who could also heal?!

Were they trying to maintain ga balance or sothing?

Ridiculous.

In contrast, the Fire Nation's system looked almost enlightened.

When Kahn first transmigrated, he was told he'd be sent to an orphanage and his property would be managed by the state.

He assud his inheritance would disappear into soone's pocket.

But later he learned he had completely misunderstood.

Children of martyrs received extensive benefits, and orphans like him—without any relatives—actually received excellent long-term care.

A century of war had made the system efficient and stable. Even Ozai never tampered with it; it had long beco a foundational structure of the Fire Nation.

Of course, that didn't excuse the Fire Nation's sins. Right was right, wrong was wrong — both perspectives could coexist.

All in all, despite his short conversation with Misu, Kahn had gained valuable experience.

Every bit of it would beco nourishnt on his path toward becoming a Firebending Master.

When he first chose that path, Iroh had suggested he travel the world to broaden his horizons — and Kahn himself wanted that too.

"Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles."

But plans never kept up with change.

With Ozai looming over him like a mountain, he wasn't sure when he'd ever gain true freedom.

Finding Ursa, learning Spiritbending, overthrowing Ozai, the approaching cot…

His pressure was enormous.

Maybe the Imperial Physician's diagnosis wasn't completely wrong.

But he would never admit he was "ntally disarrayed."

anwhile, after several days of discreet observation, Azula concluded that Kahn truly seed fine — not possessed by Face Mother, not hypnotized, not ambushed, not ntally cracked.

Only then did she fully relax… and imdiately resud her usual habit of mocking him.

"Fortunately, you made everything clear beforehand. Otherwise, if your mind had really collapsed, I might have had so annoying responsibilities. Though nothing actually happened."

Kahn was long immune to her sarcasm and didn't react at all.

Her concern shone through, and because of that, he didn't argue back.

Then, once she was relieved, Azula grew curious.

"So… what exactly did you an before? 'Transmigrator'? Hmm?"

"Uh…"

Kahn thought for a mont, then explained.

"You can think of as a special existence… like the Avatar."

"You? The Avatar? Hahahahahahaha—!"

Azula erupted into laughter, eyes wide with disbelief.

Even soone as dismissive of authority as her understood the Avatar's significance. His comparison was wildly overinflated.

She even patted his shoulder as she laughed.

"That's the funniest joke I've heard all year."

Kahn shrugged.

Compared to ancient spirits, compared to the Avatar, compared to the countless mysteries of this world…

What was he, really?

A transmigrator, yes — but fundantally?

Just an ordinary person.

Even if he traveled to ancient tis in his past life, he wouldn't even know how to make glass.

Nothing more, nothing less.
