Daniel didn’t even give those two idiots a chance to attack him. He imdiately activated Royal Barrier to block all their strikes.
He also activated Shadow Weapons, using them to pierce holes through both demons’ bodies.
Before they had a chance to heal, Daniel canceled Royal Barrier and charged at them with his sword.
A Death-powered aura from the Tablet of Death enveloped his blade, and each strike radiated deadly strength.
The demons were terrified, but they couldn’t retreat. They fought tooth and nail, trying to block his attacks—but it was pointless.
With every slash, their bodies were sliced apart and splattered with blood—but they regenerated with terrifying speed.
That healing speed frustrated Daniel. He knew demons had incredibly strong regeneration—and with no Death aura, that wouldn’t matter.
Still, each ti they fought, these demons seed to beco more energetic and powerful. What in the world was going on?
He glanced at the unknown sand-covered demon. Could it be? An idea flickered—but he wasn’t sure.
He had to test his hypothesis. But before that, he decided to torture these demons a bit—so that both the demon army and the Eternity Faith watchers could witness.
That would turn the tide of the war in their favor.
He raised his hand. Suddenly, a purple light shone across the entire sky, drawing everyone’s attention to their location.
Daniel seized the mont and sliced both demons in half with a single swing.
He didn’t give them ti to heal. Imdiately he created dozens—no, hundreds—of blades from his mana essence and Death energy, launching them into the demons.
Blood splattered everywhere. Their eyes exploded out, and their limbs were torn to pieces.
"What’s going on? How are our generals being butchered by a human?"
"Am I seeing this right? Our generals are being tortured by that human!"
"Haha, just as expected of our leader! He’s stronger!"
"Kill them! Slaughter the demons and bring glory to the Eternity Faith!"
The humans were invigorated again and launched renewed attacks on the demons.
Daniel saw exactly what he wanted. A smile appeared on his face.
"You miserable human, don’t overestimate yourself!" Baldazor’s eyes burned with rage and humiliation.
When was the last ti he’d ever felt such sha? Never!
He was the Great Demon Baldazor. No human had the right to humiliate him like this.
"How foolish... hm? Looks like you’ve kept sothing else hidden," Daniel said as he suddenly stepped back, sensing sothing.
"This is our only way! If we don’t do this, we have no chance at victory!"
"Fine. Damn it," Daimon nodded and agreed.
Suddenly, both demons’ bodies began to swell like balloons... and then... boom!
"They’re going to self-destruct?" Daniel scratched his head, but what he saw next shocked him.
Their blood began to rge together—and from it, a massive creature erged.
A demon giant, at least five ters tall.
"They’ve entered Super Demon form?" He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He’d never heard of demons having such abilities.
"Human, you should be proud—you forced us to rge! Now it’s ti for your destruction!" the giant demon bood in a deep and terrifying voice.
"Why do I feel like I’ve heard this before?" Daniel murmured.
The giant swung a fist at him. The ground shook, and a massive crater opened—but Daniel simply jumped and landed on the giant’s fist.
Without hesitation, he leapt again and drove his sword through the giant’s eye, blinding it.
But his assault didn’t stop. Without giving them ti to heal, he descended upon their arms and legs, slicing both giant demons to pieces.
Contrary to what these fools believed, their power didn’t matter to him. Even if they beca ten tis stronger, they still couldn’t match him.
His real problem had been their healing ability—which had driven him crazy.
The giant demon fell to the ground. Daniel unleashed hundreds of rapid strikes, reducing its body to tiny particles—so small it would take a long ti for them to ever regenerate.
"Ridiculous..." He raised his hand and suddenly the sky turned bloody red.
> [ Eternal Judgnt ]
The aura of Eternity filled everything. Now that he had comprehended the Law of Eternity, this skill had beco far more powerful.
Was now not the best ti to test it?
A sword of blood forged above his head, aid at the unknown demon.
"Fak fak!" The sand-covered demon panicked. He hadn’t expected the human to suddenly attack him.
Then he recalled the sand encasing him—a defensive Item.
A protective Item that could guard him against any attack.
Daniel didn’t know about it—and even if he did, he wouldn’t care. The Blood Sword swung at the demon, but it stopped as the sand blocked it.
"Hm? Is that so?" Daniel realized sothing, and redirected the Blood Sword toward the giant demon.
The sword struck the rged demon’s core with destructive and Eternity power—and then...
Boom!
The explosion torn through its body completely, destroying the giant demon.
"How is this possible?" The remaining sand-covered demon watched in horror, convinced his mind was failing.
What attack was that? The explosion’s range wasn’t huge, but the sword could utterly obliterate anything it pierced.
Whatever it was—it had no chance against the Blood Sword.
> [ You have killed two mid-rank B Demons and... ]
Daniel closed the notification, confident both demons were dead, and ignored the rest.
He took a step and approached the sand-covered demon. The latter clearly wanted to run—but Daniel sealed off the entire area.
"What do you plan to do? You should know you can’t hurt ," the demon stamred in fear.
"Can’t I? Are you sure?" Daniel laughed.
Actually, he’d realized that the sand was a defensive Item—and that this demon had a support skill. Their reason for regenerating so fast was because of this demon.
But so what?
"If I’m not wrong, your Item’s rank must be S. You’re not easy to defeat—but what happens when you’re attacked by a weapon of much higher rank? Let’s see, shall we?" Daniel didn’t give him ti to react, and struck the sand covering with The Heavens Honor.
Contrary to the demon’s expectations...the sand shattered completely.
"Wha—how is that possible? That’s impossible... haha, I must be hallucinating! Am I hallucinating?" the demon panicked, nearly going insane.
How could a human break his defensive Item? It was impossible.
Daniel punched him hard, sending him flying several ters.
"Idiot." What he did wasn’t so strange. Though Eternal Judgnt was powerful, it was still bound by the user’s strength.
Daniel wasn’t powerful enough to break an S-rank Item with raw strength alone.
But not all Items are created equal. A weapon Item of rank S can damage another rank S Item if the weapon is stronger.
The Heavens Honor is higher than even rank S—so it makes sense it could destroy any lower Item.
"Now it’s ti to learn the identity of the Noble Demon." It was ti to convert these three demons into Fallen and question them about the Noble Demon’s identity.
This phase of the challenge had dragged on long enough—it was ti to finish.
