The Tablet of Death stood firm in its place as always, occasionally releasing a suffocating, terrifying aura.

The surroundings were completely desolate—there wasn’t a single trace of life anywhere.

Daniel had only grasped two percent of the Law of Death, and he planned to deepen that understanding... but not right now.

He preferred to return to the Celestial Domain to do it, and besides, it would be a long process—and for now, he didn’t have the ti to dedicate to it.

He only wanted to check whether anything had happened to the Tablet—had it changed, or maybe undergone so unexpected evolution? Unfortunately, nothing of the sort had happened. The Tablet was exactly the sa as the first day he’d obtained it.

"The Law of Death... logically, death can do many things. You can even kill fate and ti," he muttered thoughtfully.

He had many ideas about what he could do with the Law of Death, but for now, both his comprehension and his power were too limited.

For example, he was sure that, once his understanding and mastery of the Law of Death reached a high enough level, he’d be able to kill ti within a specific area.

Doing so would make that area tiless, allowing him to train there for as long as he wanted without worrying about ti passing—especially since he’d heard that once soone reaches seventy percent comprehension of a Greater Law, advancing even by a single percent can take years.

He had no desire to spend years just to gain one percent, so creating a tiless zone would be the best solution. There were variables he’d need to consider later, but that could wait.

Then his attention shifted to the Eternal Flower. It had wilted slightly, which was normal.

After all, the flower wasn’t fully matured yet, and he had drawn on it heavily in a short period of ti.

"I should stop using Eternal Energy for a while," Daniel muttered. He was worried that if he kept draining its Eternal Energy, the flower might actually die.

If that happened, he would lose his only exceptional source of Eternity, and he genuinely doubted he could find another one as powerful anywhere.

"But how long do I have to wait for it to fully mature? My comprehension of the Law of Eternity is high, but because of this flower, I can’t use its full potential," he grumbled softly.

He knew the Law of Eternity held imnse potential and power, yet this flower was heavily limiting him.

And now that it had wilted a little, it was clear that its recovery and growth into maturity would take a long ti.

"Maybe I should go to the Pagoda of Eternity. There must be a way there to help this flower mature," he murmured.

Though the Prophet hadn’t told him where the Pagoda was, Daniel already had a rough idea—it was located sowhere in the Gulf of Sur.

If he went there, he might even run into his old friend, the Wanderer.

After that, his awareness returned to his body. He had done everything he needed for now. All that was left was to wait until they reached the capital.

He glanced at the wall clock. Nearly forty minutes had passed. They’d probably arrive at their destination in another ten to twenty minutes.

So, he spent the remaining ti recalling every detail he knew about the capital.

The capital was the largest and most powerful city in the country. It housed the main headquarters of the National Awakened Federation, the embassies, the headquarters of major guilds, and even the Scarlet Palace.

It was the center of power in the nation. Naturally, wherever there was a center of power, corruption and rivalry would also be at their peak.

The capital was divided into multiple districts, each controlled by different factions.

The National Awakened Federation and the Scarlet Palace balanced these powers and maintained order within the city.

Of course, it wasn’t as if every guild could own a district. To control one, a guild had to be among the top ten guilds in the nation.

The Scarlet Palace itself was the country’s presidential palace, where the President and other high-ranking officials lived and worked.

"So of my old friends are in the capital too," Daniel chuckled to himself.

He couldn’t wait to see them. Honestly, if it weren’t for his current problems, he’d have gone to et them first thing.

Especially since Jas was still around—and Jas definitely needed to get his mouth shut and be beaten half to death.

While he was lost in thought, ti slipped by, and before he knew it, they had arrived.

The jet landed on one of the runways at the Federation’s compound. lissa entered the cabin and inford Daniel.

"So, we’re here?" he asked as he got to his feet. They all exited the jet calmly.

"Thanks a lot for your help," he said, turning toward her.

"If you really want to thank , you could join the Federation," lissa, of course, didn’t miss the chance to extend another invitation to this boy.

"Sorry, but I can’t right now. Maybe I’ll think about it in the future."

"Ah, whatever suits you. I won’t push you, but if you ever need help, make sure to call ."

She took his hand, pulled a pen from her pocket, and wrote her number on his palm.

"I need to go file a report now. Just follow this path straight and you’ll exit the Federation. I’m sure there are plenty of taxis nearby." With that, she left.

Daniel glanced at his palm, then at lissa’s retreating figure, and chuckled.

He pulled out his phone, saved her number, and followed the path she had pointed out, leaving the compound.

Once outside the Federation grounds, he finally saw the massive structure from the outside.

He had to admit—it was truly magnificent. It looked just like an enormous royal palace, entirely white, with five dos, and so vast that its end wasn’t even visible.

After admiring the building for a mont, he headed to the street and looked for a taxi. As lissa had said, there were plenty of them nearby, so he didn’t have to search long.

Without wasting ti, he got into one of them.

"Take to the Everlight Moon Guild headquarters."
