Now reading: Chapter 322: Myriad Devourer Flag from Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me, a Action novel by LazyBlack.

A flag appeared at the center of the auction stage, enclosed in a transparent glass case so that everyone could see it.

Even though it was just a flag, the mont it showed up, the entire audience fell silent, and many began to breathe heavily.

It was a simple black flag with white lines—there was nothing special about its appearance. But that didn’t apply to its aura.

Just by being near it, everyone felt like the world itself might collapse at any mont. It felt like even space and ti were afraid of it.

The flag radiated pure terror. Every cell in their bodies reacted with dread, as if even existing in its presence was unbearable.

It gave everyone the horrifying impression that it could devour the sky, the earth, and everything in between.

"This is the Myriad Devourer" Mr. Crow’s voice echoed across the room. "We obtained it by chance. You don’t need to know its history."

"All you need to know is that this flag is a quasi-divine weapon."

Everyone held their breath.

A quasi-divine weapon! Items of this rank were incredibly rare. In fact, many powerful factions across the continent were built around the existence of just one such item.

Any force possessing a quasi-divine weapon could call itself a continental superpower.

Across the entire human continent, fewer than five known forces had one—and now, those present in this auction had the chance to beco the sixth.

Greed and desire filled the eyes of every participant. It didn’t matter how—they had to get this weapon.

Inside the VIP room, Daniel stared at the flag with curiosity. Even he wasn’t immune to its pull—he felt like the thing could swallow reality itself.

"What the hell is that?" he asked.

"That’s the weapon we ca here for," Serys said with a grin.

She had never seen it in person either, but she’d heard about it from her master. Now she understood why both the Magic Tower and the Everlight Moon Guild were so obsessed with this thing.

You could only grasp its power by standing in front of it.

"How does it work?" Daniel asked. He had never seen a flag used as a weapon before.

"It’s a devourer," Serys explained. "Once activated, it swallows everything in its path. With its current power, it could probably devour dozens of cities. And the scariest part? The more it devours, the stronger it becos."

"That terrifying? What rank of Climber can resist it?"

"Well, it depends. This weapon is newly created, but even now it can devour any Grand Climber or below. It can also devour Divine Climbers, but they can escape since they control spatial energy."

"But as it devours more, its power grows. Eventually, even Divine Climbers won’t be able to escape." Her eyes were shining with excitent.

"Now I see why both factions are fighting over this thing," Daniel laughed.

No joke—even he was tempted to steal the weapon for himself. Its power was far beyond his expectations.

With this weapon, wouldn’t the Everlight Moon Guild essentially beco a continental superpower in the Celestial Domain?

They already had the strength—but without a quasi-divine weapon, nobody took them seriously as a true superpower. At best, they were considered just a powerful force.

But this changed everything. Of course, the weapon wasn’t fully theirs—the Magic Tower was a partner.

Still, with a weapon like this, the alliance between the Tower and the Guild would beco unbreakable.

"I’m sure you can all guess the value of this weapon," the auctioneer said, now that the crowd had had enough ti to take it in.

"Because of its worth, the currency for this item will not be gold coins—but Chaos Crystals. The bidding will start at one crystal."

The mont he said that, the expressions of many participants darkened. It was like soone had poured a bucket of cold water over their heads.

They glared at the auctioneer with killing intent—clearly unhappy.

And they had every right to be. Chaos Crystals weren’t sothing just anyone had. Everyone here might have had millions in gold—but Chaos Crystals? That was a different story.

Only the wealthiest of the wealthy owned those.

Nearly 99% of the people at this auction couldn’t afford a single crystal.

"I understand if you’re upset," Mr. Crow quickly added, noticing the dangerous atmosphere. "But please also understand the value of this item. A quasi-divine weapon isn’t sothing you find lying around like rocks and dirt."

The crowd relaxed a bit and sighed. He was right. A quasi-divine weapon wasn’t sothing you could see every day.

For many of them, this was the first ti in their lives they were even seeing one. Maybe that alone had to be enough.

Inside the VIP room, Serys frowned when she heard that Chaos Crystals were required.

"What’s a Chaos Crystal?" Daniel asked curiously. He had heard the term before, but had never looked into it.

"Chaos Crystals are the most valuable currency in the world," Serys said. "They form naturally in places where all types of energies exist at once—even opposite ones—and sohow coexist. Those energies emit chaotic radiation, which solidifies into a unique substance we call Chaos Crystal."

"I see," Daniel nodded. As soone very familiar with different kinds of energy, he could understand how valuable sothing like that must be.

"In fact, Chaos Crystals are the standard currency for Divine Climbers and above. You can even absorb them to get stronger."

Of course, the value of Chaos Crystals isn’t that simple. Even a single crystal can be worth more than a trillion gold coins.

It takes over a million units of ti just to form one Chaos Crystal—and every crystal that exists today was ford millions of years ago.

In fact, the older a Chaos Crystal is, the more valuable it becos. For example, a Chaos Crystal that’s over ten million years old is ten tis more valuable than one that’s only a million years old.

"So... what do we do now?" he asked. "Can we pay with Chaos Crystals? Do we have any kind of limit?"
