"I didn’t expect a video like this, honestly I thought you completely forgot," Lana said loudly, unable to suppress her shock.
She only took a quick glance at the footage, but even that was enough to stun her—the destruction of a Corruption Worshipers’ base and a battle against a fake rank S.
There was no need to even think about it; a video with such an idea and quality would surely be a massive success. On top of that, with the budget the guild was putting into promotion, just this video alone could turn Daniel into a well-known figure.
"What kind of person do you think I am?" Daniel asked, trying to hide his embarrassnt. The truth was he had really forgotten to record.
This happening now was pure chance, or maybe fate.
"Good, the video just needs so editing, then we’ll upload it. I’ll let you know once it’s up," Lana nodded.
"If you don’t need for anything else, I think it’s about ti I head out," Daniel glanced at the clock and said.
"No, but... can I ask? Since you’re here, what are your plans? Because the ti for that dungeon raid I ntioned before is almost here."
"My schedule should be free, but I want to spend so ti with my family, especially my two sisters. I need to make sure they haven’t been slacking off," Daniel said with a faint smile.
"After that, I’ll put everything into reaching rank A as soon as possible." He paused briefly before adding.
"You’re thinking of challenging the Tower, aren’t you?" Lana’s eyebrows rose slightly. After all, it was the usual path—most people aiming for ranks B, A, S, and beyond would always use the Tower.
The normal process had its difficulties, but still, almost everyone preferred the Tower. Its floors weren’t just challenges, they also provided support.
With the Tower’s help, reaching rank A was much easier—exactly what she herself and every other prodigy of this generation had done.
"I’d rather try without the Tower’s help. If I can reach rank A on my own, I’ll be able to contribute much more in that Transcendent Scripture dungeon," Daniel replied.
He knew exactly what was on this girl’s mind, but even so, he preferred to at least give it a try. And if he failed, it still wouldn’t be too late to challenge the Tower.
"Suit yourself. If you need anything, just ask," Lana didn’t press further and simply nodded. The stronger Daniel beca, the more it benefited them anyway.
After that, the two chatted about a few other things, including how Jas had taken first place in that simulation competition and set a notable record.
Daniel didn’t really care. He simply said that when he had the ti, he’d take back first place and make sure no one could ever steal it again.
What a joke—at his current level of strength, he had enough confidence to actually pull that off.
After saying their goodbyes, he drove off toward ho. Even though he wanted to arrive quickly, he chose to enjoy the scenery a little on the way.
When he finally reached the house, he parked the car. Luckily, his mother’s car was there too, which ant they were ho.
Just to be sure, he spread out his spiritual senses to scan the whole house. Confirming that all three of them were indeed ho, a smile crept onto his face.
He then quietly stepped inside.

At that sa ti, the dinner table was already set with delicious food, and three beautiful won were sitting around it, smiling as they enjoyed the al.
"How was your training at the guild today?" Liana asked with a smile, looking at her two daughters.
"Not bad. Still, more boring than I expected. It’s been two weeks now and there’s no real progress. Their lessons are way too basic," Alice grumbled while putting a piece of steak into her mouth.
After Daniel entered the Celestial Domain, they too had been summoned to the guild. Since they were mbers now, they had to undergo training under the guild’s instructors.
And unlike schools that had sumr breaks, guilds had no such thing. They had to train all the ti.
But contrary to what they expected, the training was far too easy. Or maybe it was because they were already much stronger than others their age, making the training feel pointless.
"Because of Daniel’s training, this feels easy for us. There’s no one our age who can beat us," Tiana said with a smile.
But when she realized what she had just said, she frowned. As expected, the mood instantly grew heavy and gloomy. Even Liana put her spoon down, suddenly seeming to lose her appetite.
Alice followed her mother’s lead. After finishing the last bite of steak, she too put her spoon down, her expression dark and drained of energy.
Tiana sighed. She knew exactly why both of them reacted this way. She could feel it too. Maybe not as strongly as they did, but it was still there.
The reason for their sadness was Daniel. As long as his na wasn’t brought up, things were fine. But the mont it was ntioned, all that buried sorrow would erupt.
They all missed him deeply, but there was nothing they could do about it.
"There’s no need to be so down. Your brother will co back sooner or later, I’m sure of it," Liana tried to comfort them, though it was obvious her words were mostly to calm herself.
"Where did that stinky brother even go? He promised us he wouldn’t stay in the Celestial Domain for so long anymore, but now? Weeks have passed and there’s still no word from him," Alice complained.
"I’m upset too, but we need to get used to it. The stronger he becos, the more he’ll have to stay there. I even heard so rank S Awakened stay inside for years," Tiana said calmly.
There was no need to lie—she was sad too, but not as much as the other two. Still, she didn’t want either of them to beco a burden for Daniel.
On the contrary, she wanted to turn eighteen as soon as possible, so she could finally enter the Celestial Domain herself and help Daniel with whatever he was doing there.
That was why both she and Alice were throwing themselves into training so seriously. They wanted to grow stronger as quickly as possible.
Still, a journey that should take years couldn’t be done overnight.
"You’re right," Alice sighed instead of snapping back.
But Liana’s expression shifted slightly. Sadness and even hints of fear flickered in her eyes.
Wasn’t this exactly what her husband used to say?
And in the end, what happened to him? He left, and never ca back. No body, no trace, nothing—just gone.
She was terrified that the sa thing might happen to her son.
But all her worries were unnecessary.
"Why are you all looking so sad?" Suddenly, a familiar male voice rang out in their ears.
