It didn’t take long for Alice to appear on the stage of the battle arena with another girl. They first glanced at each other, then looked around.
The second girl looked clearly embarrassed to be standing in front of such a crowd, while Alice seed to be searching for her brother.
After a bit of looking, she managed to spot both her brother and her teacher among the spectators watching her. A smile appeared on her face, and her eyes lit up with a radiant glow.
Today, no matter what, she had to win!
"The battle begins," the middle-aged man floating in the sky calmly announced.
The mont he spoke, the girl nad Alia summoned a spear and rushed at Alice. However, to everyone’s surprise, before her attack could even land, Alice delivered a powerful kick that sent the girl flying hundreds of ters away.
"... ..."
"Uh? Seems like the battle is over. Alice Noir wins." The middle-aged man was stunned for a mont, not sure what to even say.
He glanced at the girl lying on the ground, and once he was sure she couldn’t get up again, he declared Alice the winner.
Still, this victory caused a huge uproar among the crowd. Many couldn’t even believe what they had just seen with their own eyes.
"What exactly just happened?"
"That girl won with just one strike! My god, who is she?"

While the spectators were talking with shock and awe, pride appeared on Daniel’s face. His sister had truly made him proud today.
"She looks way stronger than just a few days ago. Did you do sothing?" Selenia, just as surprised as the audience, turned toward the young man sitting beside her and asked.
"Well, I just helped her a little so she could overco her limits."
Selenia wanted to say sothing but didn’t know how to put it into words. She had noticed that her disciple couldn’t get any stronger without advancing her rank.
But how did she look stronger now? Just what exactly did this boy do?
Before she could ask, the next match had already begun. Ti passed slowly, and before anyone realized, it was already ti for the top ten battles.
During this ti, both Tiana and Alice had won all their matches with ease, most of the ti with just one or two strikes. For them, it was even easier than training.
In fact, both of them had grown a bit disappointed with these competitions. They had expected to face challenges, but apparently, their expectations had been too high.
"The next battle will be between Alice Noir and Jack Allen."
Two figures appeared on the battlefield—a beautiful girl and a handso boy. Both glanced at the crowd.
The girl’s expression looked bored, while the boy’s expression showed pride and excitent, as if he was thrilled to be cheered on by everyone.
"Alice, how about you just accept defeat?" the boy asked, turning toward the girl in front of him.
"Are you an idiot? Do you want to beat you half to death?" Alice snorted and mocked, making the boy’s expression darken.
"I’m the son of the guild leader’s vice commander! If you don’t surrender and let win, I’ll make sure you get kicked out of the guild." Jack spoke quietly, making sure only Alice could hear.
"Really? That’s actually great news. Then I can finally join my brother’s guild." Alice sneered with a laugh.
She knew exactly who this idiot was. Despite his nonsense, he didn’t have the power to do anything against her. After all, her teacher was also an influential figure in the guild.
Even if they did kick her out, so what? She wouldn’t be losing anything and could just join the Everlight Moon Guild instead.
Jack’s face darkened even more. He didn’t actually have the power to expel this girl. Not even his father had such authority. He had only wanted to scare her, but apparently, he couldn’t even do that.
Clenching his fists, he stepped into a fighting stance. A bright light covered his fists, enlarging and bulking them up.
"You may begin the match," the middle-aged man’s voice echoed.
Imdiately as the fight began, Jack stepped forward and charged at Alice. His fists descended toward her, and unlike her previous opponents, she didn’t block them.
But the mont they landed, Jack realized sothing was wrong. Instead of hitting a human, it felt like he had punched into a massive rock.
His hand hurt terribly, and after letting out a cry, he quickly pulled back.
"No way! How is your body this strong?!" He stared at the girl with a trace of fear.
"Unlike so people, I train a lot," Alice lazily replied before she moved forward.
In an instant, she appeared before Jack, and before he could even react, she smashed a heavy punch into his face. But she didn’t stop with one punch—she followed up with ten, then a hundred more, until his face was completely battered, like a beaten pig.
"This is for you to learn to stay away from Tiana," Alice whispered in a terrifying tone into Jack’s ear before letting him go.
This bastard actually liked Tiana and would occasionally harass her. They couldn’t do anything against him, so Alice decided to use this perfect chance to beat him up.
"The winner is Alice Noir."
The middle-aged man landed on the ground, checked on Jack, and sighed in relief once he was sure the boy was still alive.
He glanced at Alice, intending to reprimand her for being too ruthless, but at that mont, he noticed a powerful gaze locked onto him.
It wasn’t hard to guess—it was definitely her teacher. So he could only sigh and announce the winner before flying back into the sky.
"I didn’t expect that girl to be so ruthless."
"Looks like she really didn’t like that guy. They must have so sort of grudge."
"If I’m not mistaken, that boy should be the son of the Fallen Sun Guild’s vice leader. Even with that background, he still got beaten half to death."
"Just who is that girl? Both she and that other girl, Tiana, are ridiculously powerful and terrifying."
At that mont, Daniel also glanced at Jack. The surprise in his eyes was clear. He knew his sister—if she had beaten soone up this badly, then she definitely had a reason.
Turning toward Selenia, he asked:
"Who is that boy?"
