Dealing with the leaders of the other top guilds was definitely not easy, especially since they clearly looked suspicious and even threw a lot of questions at Varnos.

Fortunately, Lana stepped in and explained the situation, also saying that they had contacted The Fallen and asked him for help.

If it had been any other Rank A, the leaders of these top guilds would have imdiately rejected such a request. But most of them had either seen with their own eyes, or at least heard about, the fact that this man fought against a False Rank S and even won.

Because of that, after so hesitation, they all agreed. Maybe if The Fallen went inside, he really could save their guild mbers.

However, Lana also said that this man doesn’t work for free and that they had to pay his price, just like Everlight Moon Guild had paid the cost of requesting his help.

Even though the other guilds were a bit annoyed, they didn’t argue. In fact, it was better this way—it made them more certain that this man really didn’t belong to any guild.

After all, a Rank A who could kill a false Rank S was a monster among monsters. They couldn’t and wouldn’t allow him to join any guild other than their own.

So, each of them paid either valuable items or large amounts of money. After receiving them, Daniel told them that if their guild mbers were still alive, he would rescue them.

Then he went straight toward the dungeon entrance. Before entering, he glanced at the portal. One was a purple-colored portal, releasing an intense amount of energy.

He took a breath and stepped in. The next mont, the world around him turned dark.

After he entered, the other guilds imdiately asked Varnos how they could contact The Fallen and what the communication thod was.

Varnos looked at his daughter, and after seeing Lana nod, he gave them a contact number. That number was actually an anonymous and protected one that belonged to Everlight Moon Guild itself.

That way, if these people wanted to contact Daniel, the guild could keep track of it.

anwhile, Daniel slowly opened his eyes. The world around him had changed, but before he could get a good look, a notification appeared in front of him.

[ Welco to the Dungeon of the Island of Titans ]

[ Rank: Purple ]

[ To clear the dungeon, you must defeat the Giant Titan ]

He looked at the notification. Unlike the ones he usually got when entering dungeons, this one didn’t have much explanation—or at least, that’s how it seed.

"Island of Titans?" he muttered. He was sowhat familiar with this ancient race, but as far as he knew, they should have gone extinct.

The Titans were a species with different sub-races, known for their terrifyingly strong bodies and physical power. But the entire species had been consud by corruption and wiped out.

He looked around. He was standing on soil, surrounded by wet trees. Rain was falling from above, and he could hear the roar of the sea.

He slowly took off into the air, but the higher he went, the stronger the pressure he felt, until it reached the point where it seed like his body could collapse at any mont.

That made him frown. With his current strength, sothing like this shouldn’t have been possible—unless this dungeon had special spatial rules that heavily restricted flight.

Since he could already see quite far from where he hovered, he didn’t try going any higher.

The island was spherical in shape. It had two layers, separated by a massive water channel. However, natural bridges ford by nature itself connected the two.

"If I’m not wrong, the place I’m standing now should be the outer layer." He first looked at his own location.

Even though it was an island, it wasn’t small at all. On the contrary, it was massive. Just the outer layer where he was standing was probably larger than the entire capital city.

As for the central layer in the distance—it looked even bigger. But he couldn’t be completely sure, since fog covered the area and made it hard to see.

Still, he could make out a massive mountain range there, with a clear beginning and end. Stranger than that, there was a tree on top of the range.

From where he was standing, the tree looked simple—just an ordinary tree, especially because of the fog.

But he didn’t know why, when his eyes fell on the tree, he suddenly felt a primal sense of danger. A danger that ca directly from his instincts.

His frown deepened. He tried using his spiritual senses to see more clearly, but to his surprise... his spiritual senses didn’t work at all.

"What’s going on?" he muttered in confusion and tried again—but the result was the sa.

No matter how hard he tried, it was useless. His spiritual senses simply wouldn’t activate. Eventually, he gave up and realized that besides flight, there seed to be other restrictions in this place as well.

Because of that, he was forced to stop focusing on the central layer. Lana had warned him earlier not to go there under any circumstances anyway.

In that central layer were Rank S monsters—sothing he currently had no power to deal with.

So, he turned his focus back to the outer layer. Since his spiritual senses didn’t work, he could only see within a limited range with his own eyes.

But even in that limited range, there was no sign of life or aura from any living being. Clearly, it was one of two possibilities: either everyone was dead, or they had moved beyond what he could see with his naked eyes.

He slowly landed and started walking, deciding to head straight toward the bridge that connected the outer and central layers.

In his mind, if the Awakened wanted to go sowhere, they would definitely head for that bridge. Maybe he could find them nearby.

He could have flown, but he preferred to walk for now. There were two reasons: he noticed that flying here drained his mana at least seven tis faster, and he didn’t want to attract the attention of any monster.

He walked slowly. The sound of raindrops falling on branches and leaves echoed in his ears.

The roar of the sea almost felt like it was calling to him, eerie and ominous. But Daniel walked without fear, ignoring it all.

Until he reached a place that forced him to stop—because several trees had been broken, sword and magic marks were everywhere...

And more importantly... traces of blood!
