"They even gave you nicknas, the Avenger and the Butcher of Corruption."
Honestly, it made sense. No one knew how young the real person they were chasing was, and many had mistaken him for a middle-aged man.
Even he himself, before realizing the person he was tracking was his old friend, had imagined soone older. But who could have guessed that the man so of the strongest forces in the world are hunting isn’t even twenty years old?
Daniel let out a relieved breath. He also realized that the people chasing his identity probably believed he was a middle-aged man.
That alone could protect his identity for a while, at least until he beca strong enough to defend himself.
But Avenger? Butcher of Corruption? What kind of stupid titles were these? Hearing them made him feel awkward and embarrassed.
Overall, he really didn’t have any hatred toward the Corruption Worshipers. It was just that they kept causing trouble for him, and he had no choice but to deal with them.
If they hadn’t treated him as an enemy from the very beginning and hadn’t caused him problems, he would’ve never destroyed their bases. On the contrary, they might’ve even beco friends.

"I don’t hold any grudge. Those idiots just keep standing in front of and causing trouble. I’m forced to destroy them. If they left alone, I wouldn’t bother with them." Daniel replied honestly.

He hadn’t forgotten it, he’d just been too busy to deal with everything.
"Speaking of the Empire, do you know what’s going on there now? I rember the Empire being in a situation close to rebellion. And why did you abandon the mission you had there?"
"Chaos has taken over the entire Empire. The Duke is trying to overthrow the king and claim the throne. The whole Empire is split in two, but neither side has won yet." Kayn explained.
"Rember the Duke’s daughter? She was apparently on the brink of death, but that Grand Mage helped her escape the Empire, and no one knows where she is now."
"For an Empire to fall into such a disaster..." Daniel sighed. But honestly, if he were in the Duke’s place, he might’ve also tried to take the throne.
